      I have been renting from rent2own now for 2 years. I paid the first 2 items off no problems. I go back and got a tv couch and tv stand. Now this is where it all goes wrong. I got a couch that was brand new that had holes all in it. Been waiting now for 4 months for a replacement. Still they dont know when that is coming. Then they show up to my house saying I didnt make payment I had made payment the people call they did confirm payment. Then they come back saying I owe more money came to my house talking s*** on my cameras. Im not on autopay but they keep taking money. Then they charge my card 4 times for $109 they said they refunded it back. So now I have to wait 3 days to get that back if I get it back. This is getting ridiculous. They should not be able to do this. They need to be investigated. They have no people skills no training what so ever. I am to the point I am going to get a lawyer I can prove everything that they have done. Id leave a zero star if I could.

      I have been purchasing a washer and dryer through Rent to Own in *******, **. I've paid over a thousand dollars on it, but I was struggling a little, a got a little behind. I was trying and trying, constantly giving them money. The person handling my account , *******, was rude from the moment she took over my account, threatening to come get the washer and dryer from the first time I talked to her. Then the total amount I owed kept getting higher and higher, no matter how much I paid. On the 3rd of July, I gave them $250 and was told I was up to date, then not even a week later, she said I owed $200. The payment for the washer and dryer, was $45 a week. I was also purchasing a lawn mower and tires, but the total for all three, for one week, was not enough $100, so how can one week later from being caught up, I owed $200, then 3 day later, I was told I owed $400 to get caught up. Now how is that even possible? I told them to come get the washer and dryer because I am tired of being harassed by *******. She's very rude and has been threatening since the first call. The tires and lawn mower is almost paid off, but I still had a while before the w/d was paid off. Even after I said to come get it, ******* calls and says I still need to pay the $400, which I don't understand how it's that much in less than 2 weeks after getting paid up to date. There is no way, so they can have it back. It all seems like a rip off.

      Asked the worker to charge my card for the payment and then got a text from my bank saying that he tried to charge me more than my payment. I asked him and he said it should've only been for the original amount and he was confused. Then I sent him a screen shot of my text and told him to take my card off his records. He then said that I could wait until the next payment was due and only pay the original amount only after I showed him proof of him trying to steal money from me. Don't trust them they have shady business practices and definitely only deal in cash with them if do go in there.

      These people are just awful I've seen good reviews for some stores but the Marietta location is a bad bunch for sure I'm actually having to file harassment charges against them for calling me and texting me repeatedly after 8pm and while I'm at work and have told them to stop calling I work in a hospital I can't be on my phone arguing with a company all day they also sold me a bed with bugs in it then tried to tell me I had to pay $260 for the bed when I returned it and they left it outside and supposedly the bed got stolen from by their dumpster this store needs a whole new crew fire them all

      Scammers if they can find away to charge 10 dollar fees a week they will don't use them the bbb should investigate them.

      They constantly try to say your behind and when you prove otherwise they come up with some other excuses like oh the manager has to approve it but they can't reach them. Like for real just absolutely horrible staff and management.

      ********** OH location is absolutely awful. I first purchased a 75 inch TV in December 2023. Upon delivery the TV was dropped off the truck and tried to catch it with foot, busting the screen. They still delivered that TV. (On ring camera) ****** was removed and it was in fact busted. Called store and a replacement of that TV was not available. They brought a used filthy TV in which I had for approximately 2-3 months. I made payments on a brand new TV the whole time while having a used TV. They bring a different TV than I had originally purchased and agreed to pay for. My online account and the store account don't match, payoff is not the same. They say I missed the same as cash deadline and didn't even have what I intended to pay for. I have asked multiple times for resolution. Today, Contessa says I have to come into the store to print off paperwork to find out what's going on? So I need to take off work to go into their office to determine what they did wrong?? I have said multiple times what the problem is. I have texts saying I will make my payments online and to not autopay. Autopay taken out today and still no resolution. I ask store manager Contessa what TV she as listed on my account and she responds with a horrible smart comment, a 75 inch TV. Yeah, what brand, I don't know she says. I said that's a smart-ass comment and proceeded to say I am in the wrong. WRONG!! I wouldn't ever purchase anything from *** again in my life. Horrible experience and horrible customer service. Still have no clue why it can't be resolved without being treated like trash. How disappointing.

      Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.  The manager over the store, ******, has stated that the first TV was not busted, but it had a smudge on the screen.  They only provided that TV for a short-term use while the TV that you requested was special ordered through one of our vendors.  The TV's were swapped out directly by the manager, with all money paid going directly onto the new TV.  She assures that they in no way would leave a busted TV in any customer's home and still require payment.  She would be more than happy to discuss this situation with you.  Please contact the Gallipolis store directly at ************ or you can also contact our *********** at ************** to speak to the regional manager over the store.  Thank you.

      I paid for a couch bed and recliner 4 weeks ago I received the couch a week later which was ok because they had to order it but still have not received my recliner . Horrible service ! ******** business ! I also am a retired business owner you should never treat your customers this way . I am very disappointed I did file a complaint with BBB . I also plan on filling thru with it . I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

      Good morning *********** I am terribly sorry about this issue that's going on. The *** who had ordered the recliner for you had told me that she informed you that your new recliner would be here on our last truck or this upcoming truck. The company that we had to order your recliner from we only get a shipment from them twice a month. Where you wanted new there was none in the company that were available so to ensure that we get you what you are asking for we had to special order that. I am very sorry that you feel like you have been giving bad service. We pride ourselves on taking care of our customers the best way possible in a very timely manner. I double checked the ** and it does say that your recliner ETA date is 11/15. I will have the delivery team bring the recliner straight to you once we receive it. I will also take some money off the back end of your bundle due to this issue. If you would like to speak with me you can always reach me at the store, and we can go over the savings on your agreement ************. That way we are all on the same page. We appreciate you and your business. I will make sure this gets taken care of as soon as your recliner gets here! Thank you and I'm very sorry for this again.

      I will not ever go back to this store I told them I was going through things at home. And they come to my house why I am gone then they call my references and tell them they are gonna call CPS. Than they come to my house and bang on my door text me saying they are not leaving than they come to my job and call my job text me like crazy just keeps harassing me and my kids. This is nuts I am over a year of paying this off and they have no respect for my privacy or my kids. My children don't feel safe. Than they text everyone on my ******** call my mother and text her. Like how can someone get away with doing this to others

      ****** was 102 days late in August *** made a $60 payment to get back on track (which we did help her with toggle hold which was around $1,300.00 that she should have paid and did not, as we toggled it) and resume her normal payments. *** has not made a payment since then and is currently *********************************************************** return the merchandise.*** said that we could come to her work to get ahold of her because her phone was shut off and provided ******* with her work hours.*** has scheduled a pickup with us multiple times and each time either isn't home or is and doesn't answer the door.
