Omnipoint Management had contacted me Friday in regards of them taking over an account I have in collection. The first representative which was a women had asked me when can I start making payments. I told her I am willing to start making payments but I am not able to do so due to being out on maternity leave. I have little to no income as of right now due to getting paid very little from disability. I told her I am willing to start making payments once I go back to work in April. She stated she was going to transfer me to the manager. I explained to the manager the same thing I explained to her. He says “ What about the child’s father?” I said excuse me? He says “The child father why can’t he pay it?”. I said why would he pay it what does he have to do with this? “ He goes “Your account is in collection why can’t he pay?” I told him the comment he made was very unprofessional and disrespectful. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable!!! Instead of him trying to find a way to help me he’s bringing my personal life into this. I called back to get his name his partner told me his name was Mr. *******.. I hung up. His partner called back and said he’s sorry he gave me the wrong name it was Mr. ******** (which I feel he lied) he asked me what happened I tried to explain to him what happened he started talking over me while I was trying to explain and was extremely RUDE. This left me very uncomfortable and upset. Just because I am out on maternity doesn’t mean that my child father is inside of their life. They can either be deceased, walked out of my child’s life and not active at ALL this is very upsetting and unprofessional something needs to be done about this!Business Response

Omni Point reached out to me multiple times over a year ago and also called my husband discussing my personal affairs which violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act!!!! I have paid them religiously more than any of my other debts and it still isn't enough for them. I recently had an agent from their company call me and was very rude and abusive. I just set up a payment arrangement of 100.00 which is what I can afford, and their online system accepted it and they declined it. As I type this I just got another email from them saying what happened. What happened is that I just paid you and I'm still getting harrassed!!!!!!!!!!!!Business Response

Omni management called my wife recently. Today,8/16/24 they called me. Both times they were looking for someone else. Neither my wife or myself have ever had any business with these people. My wife told them to stop calling and blocked them. I’m about to do the same. We have no association with the person they claim to be looking for.Business Response
