This company is against freedom of speech, and they're against freedom of expression using things like art and video games. Thanks to them tens of thousands of game artists are being censored and having their lively hoods ripped away. *************.

They are trying to tell grown adults what we can and can't buy on steam and are using a group of terfs as an excuse to do it! This is unacceptable!

MasterCard is a payment provider, not some moral / ethic guardian who can tell users what to watch, what to play and generally what to do. All this censorship is getting out of hand. You can't apply such measures to creative work which is just pure fiction - games and movies hardly depict reality, so what you're doing here is just awful. I hope BBB and other institutions will deal heavily with your company real soon.

MasterCard is abusing their monopoly over online payments to actively suppress freedom of speech and expression. They are using their position of power to pressure services into removing certain types of content based on arbitrary judgements of morality. It doesn't just stop at so-called "immoral" content, however; even perfectly legal and safe content has been censored and destroyed by payment processors - including MasterCard. This assault on our first amendment rights to freedom of expression cannot go unnoticed. Please spread the word about this attack, and do not allow payment processors to dictate what you can and cannot ****** starts with "immoral" content, then it becomes guns, alcohol, gambling, and more. This is the slippery slope. This is the real threat.

Dear Mastercard Customer Service, I am writing to express my utter disgust and anger at your recent statement claiming that Mastercard "does not moderate sold content" in response to your blatant censorship of Steam and *******. This is a shameless lie and an insult to our collective intelligence. Your actions have demonstrated beyond any doubt that you are indeed moderating, censoring, and arbitrarily deciding what content is acceptable. As a mere payment processor, your role is limited to processing transactions, nothing more. You are not a God, government, law enforcement, or a parent. It is not your place to decide what is or isn't appropriate for adults. By falsely accusing companies with no criminal records or history of selling illegal content as an "elevated risk of illegal activity," you have shown an appalling lack of respect for these businesses and an ignorance of the law. Your company should be held legally and financially accountable for the slanderous remarks you've made against these platforms. Accusing them of engaging in illegal activities when they have done nothing of the sort is a gross misrepresentation and a violation of their rights. I, along with the entire gaming community, demand that you immediately reverse the actions taken against Steam and *******. If you fail to do so, we will take our frustration to the next level. We will not rest until we have inflicted more damage to your brand's reputation than any video game ever censored from those platforms could have caused. Mastercard, you have poked the bear, and now you must face the consequences. The gaming community is unified in its opposition to your censorship and overreach. If you choose to use censorship as a weapon, we are ready to go to war with your company. This is not a threat, but a promise. Reconsider your actions and restore the neutrality that once defined your brand, or face the wrath of millions of gamers worldwide. Sincerely,****** Hand

MasterCard aims to be the global moral and ethical board, pressuring companies and telling them what they can and can't sell. Adults should be able to buy adult things with their adult money. Stop trying to kill mature content.

**** and MasterCard have capitulated to hate groups both locally and abroad. Collective Shout, the ****** and Exodus Cry. Are all evangelists right-wing radicals that have lied about Steam and valve and are getting works of art demonetized. They are deciding what private platforms can and cannot do. **** has too much power and they are listening to some of the worst individuals that claim to help children and women when they don't. This is a monopoly this is making sure that some works of art even *********** ********* and some Charities to help the people of ********* are barred. Now would be one thing if these actions were illegal but this is the question of barring fiction. And now they're going to go after ******* and an AI and anime and even none adult materials because of xenophobic and bigoted concerns and their inability to distinguish fiction and reality. While it is true that no mercy was an objectionable game it was not a simulator of any kind. There were no people hurt all the games banned in question from each side IO having to ban about ****** games and items and seem having to ban over 500 because of obscure laws. The only law that they are confirmed to break was Australia's law of Distributing a work of fiction that didn't go through the classification system. Meanwhile you can find the same thing in the Bible and Game of Thrones and that is given a pass by classification. The same classification board that sees a ******** game called Clubhouse games 51 worldwide classics as needing to be 18 plus despite it having no mature themes. It only has simulated poker with no real money. There is a problem. This is listening to theocrats and really crazy people that cannot tell fiction from reality. And they're going to go after cartoons next. This is incredibly problematic and not good for their brand or Free Speech or art. This makes creators go hungry Collective shout lied

Got cheated out of my money. I paid for gas with my Mastercard gift card and 24 hours AFTER the transaction for the gas was paid a hold was placed on my account. The hold was NEVER removed. I was cheated out of my money. I was planning on buying groceries with the 50 I was cheated out of for my 4 children. So all 6 of us had to go hungry for 3 days! DO NOT ever buy! It is a SCAM! You can call the 800 number, but you will NEVER speak to a representative. The Mastercard company assumes you will NOT have any solutions to undo the way you have been cheated by them. I don't take to having my four children cheated out of food. I WILL be filing whatever charges I can.

There are a lot of merchants that should have lost their licenses due to shady business practices but Mastercard allows them to continue simply because they make a lot of money from them. They know this, we know this, but the emperor has no clothes and Mastercard has no integrity.

My Company purchased Gift Cards for the employees for Christmas as a bonus . The cards were for total $1,000 . When we went to use them the card were denied because the card number was scratched out and when we called master card they said that there was a fraud on those cards and there is no money . They did not want to help us and without saying why there said that we were denied to issue us new cards . It looks like the employees of the company might be stealing the funds and later saying that they can not do anything about it . So just please be AWARE!! DO NOT PURCHASE GIFT CARDS from Master card . Total scam !
