1 starI had an exceptional therapist, but unfortunately I wont schedule with her again. I was informed by email that I was being billed for my sessions full amount, when previously I only had a $10 copay. The billing department intentionally does not have a phone line. They will only communicate with you via email and most of their responses are scripted and repetitive. They intentionally submit insurance claims incorrectly, then ignore correspondence with insurance providers. Talkspace finds it easier to charge patients without warning rather than wait for insurance reimbursement. I was charged so many times by Talkspace, that I had to cancel my credit card and report fraud. Interestingly though, a quick ****** search will supply the cell number to the Talkspace CEO. They do seem to be a bit more attentive when you call them personally. However, they still wont refund you. I have never had the displeasure of tolerating a more dishonest, criminal company. Another class action lawsuit should be filed against them for their billing practices.Review fromJasmine w

1 starI'd rather not offer any stars. As of now $236 have been stolen by Talkspace after subscribing to a therapy package and never once talking to a therapist. After stealing my money I tried for over 3 weeks to discuss how or why such things can occur. Ive never received an answer whether I call, email, ect. Then after receiving emails and texts offering "deals" I asked Talkspace politely the first time to please stop sending emails and texts if we cannot have an adult discussion as to why my $236 subscription was not full filled. The emails and texts never stopped and as of yesterday I stayed if you (Talkspace) contuines to contact me I will file a complaint with the BBB as harassment. Be very careful in dealing with these people at Talkspace. They in my opinion are predators seeking vulnerable people (including myself) that need help and steal their money.Review fromLisa for my son B

1 starThis is by far the most difficult company to receive any kind of billing support. They claimed a provider was out of network and when this was proven wrong, they still will not submit the claims to the insurance company for paymentTalkspace

1 starLet me be clear that I am reviewing the platform and customer service, not the therapists. I took a break from Talkspace for a bit and recently decided to go back. Upon requesting a messaging session with a new therapist, I thought I was good to go. However, I am now stuck on the "book an appointment" page and cannot get past that. It is not a technical glitch with my computer, as I've tried different browsers, playing with pop-**** I've tried my phone vs. computer, etc...The same thing happens time and time again. I cannot access my messages from my therapist and have been getting email notifications that I have messages waiting. So, I of course reached out to customer service and have received several communications that they are trying to figure out the root of the problem. It has been TEN days now and they have been unable to figure it out. For a healthcare service, I feel this is completely unacceptable to make a patient wait this long to receive services such as this, all because of a tech issue on THEIR end that they do not seem to have the competence to figure out.Talkspace

1 starI never consented to automatic re-enrollment or billing yet Ive been charged twice for services never received. I cannot get ahold of anyone in this company and I am now forced to file a claim with my bank for fraudulent charges. I do not recommend even attempting to access or use Talkspace because they will take your payment information and fraudulently bill your insurance when services were NEVER provided.Talkspace

1 starI signed my daughter up for therapy sessions, paying out of pocket, she was matched with a great provider and was making progress. Now after 8 months Talkspace has decided she can't have that therapist anymore, we live in ******** but she goes to school in **************. They don't ask that when they are matching you they just ask the state you reside, she has had major traumas and now will have to start all over, they should ask college students where they will be going. Now we are at a horrible place she is away at school with no help.I would not recommend this to anyone that needs real help, consistency is a key to helping mental health and they have no consistency.Talkspace

Its important to note that the provider must refer to their state licensure board to determine if they can continue treating a college student who is residing out of state. Unfortunately, licensing regulations are set by each state and cannot be changed.

1 starThis is the hokiest joke of them all. They are using technology called ambient listening people. They listen to sessions and record them. I would ask the attorney general if this is legal and how. They surely will go out of business with the model they useif only consumers knew what was happening to their datasomeone needs to stop these places. Theyre harming people.Talkspace

1 starI have been using TS for the last 16 months. Had GREAT therapist. At 4:10 pm Wed, Aug 7 I get a message that my provider is no longer available for services as of Thurs Aug 8. At 4:30 pm, I checked the app and ALL of my messages/resources are gone. At 5:00 pm, I was matched with a new provider. No idea what happened. Contacted TS and was told unfortunately some situations when a provider is unable to give notice and this is outside of our standard transition process and I can share my message history with a new provider. I do not want to start over! Mental health isn't something to take lightly and just switching to a new therapist isn't the answer. I had message my provider earlier in the afternoon and then all of the sudden she is no longer available. There was no indication from her that she was leaving TS. No way to contact her because she doesn't have any of my personal information and I don't have any of hers. Completely unacceptable.Talkspace
