    Drop has been accepting cash back rebates from companies thanks to customers linking their credit cards and back accounts to their app, but then instead of paying out the promised cash back to the costumer they are keeping it for themselves. They cite limited gift card cash out opportunities yet NO ONE is actually receiving their rewards back. My order for gift cards was canceled on April 2023 and I have been unable to receive the amount due to me since that time. Drop is a scam and needs to be shut down and the people running it should be jailed for stealing the cash back their customers are due.

    The company advertised gift cards in exchange for linking up my credit cards and allowing them to track purchases. Previously, the company functioned as advertised and one could cash out gift cards once a "point" goal was met. I cashed out $105 between *********. The company changed how users can cash out, but purposely mislead users. "As of July 17th 2023, a new redemption experience has begun:- Every Thursday at 1:00 PM EST a new batch of gift cards will be made available for instant redemption- Members will be able to instantly redeem one $5 or $25 gift card per week- There is a limited quantity of gift cards that will go out each week"The app crashes every time I try to cash out on Thursdays at 1pm. you can add it to your cart, but it always crashes before you can check out The cards then " sell out" by 1:05pm I want to cash out my account and then close it.

    I have had the Drop app for 7-8 years always great then last year some policy changes I have around 220 thousand points I have been trying every week for over a year to get gift cards and it never gives them just says all sold out with g 1-2 minutes of the time you have to sign in by 1pm I am on by 12:54 usually cause after 12:57 always says apps to busy I stopped allowing them to see my purchases and earn more points as a useless app now I just want my gift cards but for *************************************************************************************************************************************************** return they should allow oldest accounts first to get gift cards and or just send us a gift card for all points

    Drop (*************************) is an app that collects user data in exchange for points that can be used to redeem gift cards. The issue is that users can only redeem points for gift cards on Thursdays at 12:00 PM EST. I've been attempting to redeem my points for gifts cards making attempts on Thursdays for the last 8-10 months without success. I've logged on at exactly 12:00 PM EST and received the message ***** seconds later indicating the gift cards are all sold out. I've contacted customer support without any resolution other than to keep trying. That response is not acceptable. I simply want to redeem what is owed since they are benefitting from collecting my data. Please note the amount paid listed below is actually points and not dollars.

    They continue to say they give out gift cards for points but they are impossible to get. I have reached out several times wanting to cash out my account and close it. I cannot get a hold of an actual person to help me. I no longer want to have an account with them.

    This company farms financial data and promises the user a chance to get a gift card in return for the financial data. Nobody ever gets a gift card. Its fraud.

    Drop is an app that links to your credit cards to data mine your purchases and sell that information off. For doing so, they offer points that can be redeemed for gift cards.This used to be a valid app that worked as advertised until November of 2023. Since November 2023, you are no longer able to redeem any points. The app will tell you that you can redeem your points at 10AM Pacific each Thursday. You can leave your app open until it is time to redeem that day or open the app at the 10AM on the dot and all that will happen is it will say gift cards are sold out and will open again the following week at 10AM. This is happening to all customers and you can see it in the reviews in the App Store. This company is falsely advertising and now stealing information. They need to be shut down and should be forced to pay out all accounts who are due payment. I have $62 worth of points that I am unable to get redeemed.

    This app has turned into a complete scam. It used to be that you could redeem offers and cash in their points for gift cards. Now, they access your credit card/bank information, then use your data to make money by selling ads to other companies. Those companies are paying for a service and not getting it because the offers dont have to be opted into individually anymore, and customers like me are angry because we dont get the rewards promised. At best, its false advertising, and at worse its fraudulent/malicious. I have $55.50 in points that should be eligible for redemption when their gift cards become available at 1pm each Thursday. I log in weekly BEFORE 1pm, and what follows is: 1) I watch a countdown to 1pm. A few seconds before 1pm, the screen reloads and gift card offers pop up. 2) I press a store within 1-2 seconds of availability. I used to scroll to a specific one, but now I just click anything with the hope itll work. 3) I watch a loading screen for 45 seconds while they check if gift cards are available.4) The app tells me theyre sold out and to try again next week. All of the above happens by 1:01pm, so theres really no way to redeem points for anything, and they have my data. Meanwhile, they keep signing on new members with promise of a $5 bonus, so thats just more people trying to redeem each week.Gift cards used to be available for immediate redemption, but now this system of no or extremely limited gift cards means its false advertising, at best, and likely malicious. They dont seem to actually have the gift cards theyre providing, so they just profit off of consumer data without upholding their part of the agreement. The two other options for redeeming points collectibles and contests are also unavailable, as shown in the attached screenshots. So currently, there is no way to redeem the incentive offered through this app.

    The Drop app is actively scamming users and advertising strongly on radio and other media. I have *******+ points that are currently being held and un-redeemable. You can try to 'redeem' within seconds and they state everything is sold out. They 'say' that they release gift cards but do not back it up with any evidence or financials. This company needs investigated for Fraud.

    I have over ******* points which are completely un-redeemable (thats $200+ in gift cards). *** tried probably twenty times to redeem them, contacted Drop multiple times, all to no avail. This company used to offer such a great service, but now they persuade you to link your credit card, make money off of you, and give you NOTHING in return. Its an absolute scam.
