    This is a terrible service. My rent amount has never been correct and all attempts to get resolution were fruitless. There is no live support: payment issues are handled by canned responses from fake individuals and there is NO option to speak to anyone even after multiple requests. So if they dont understand your issue, youre outta luck. Apps cant do it all - especially with something as important as rent.

    **DO NOT USE THIS APP** THIS APP IS A SCAM !!!!My very FIRST and LAST time using this company. I did a self-submission for my rent on March 5th and the app then said waiting on confirmation. FLEX took $700 from my account to pay my rent on March 5th also. As of yesterday, 05/11/2023 my property management sent me an email stating payment for my rent was returned due to the CHECKING ACCOUNT that ********************** provided to me to pay my rent being FROZEN. I have now emailed them more than 4 times and someone response to me today at 11:30am stating, "We are sorry to hear your rent payment did not go through. We are looking into the problem and will get back to you." Of course I have not heard back from anyone. And I have NOT RECEIVED MY $700 BACK !!!! Not only do I have to come up with the entire rent payment, I also have to pay a late fee and return check fee to my leasing office my Monday. I have learned a valuable ****** and I will NEVER use anything like this again.

    I dont want to use Flex anymore. I only use Flex as a way to build credit, but my rent was paid on the 5th and they never took their money out of my account. I brought the issue to their attention and now they are IGNORING ME. The only way to get ahold of them is through email. I am trying to cancel my membership and nobody is responding. I cant believe a business operates like this. They definitely need to make a lot of improvements. This is horrible. ?? It is too risky to trust Flex. They need to add a self-pay option where I can pay my portion on the app in seconds instead of waiting on them to attempt the payment. And they have deadlines at specific times of the day which is not good if your funds are available at night time.

    Horrible con artists and scammers. They charge you a monthly membership fee plus processing fee for each rent half payment. No customer service phone to call, no control over your rent payment . Avoid!

    It's a great idea but when something goes wrong there is no one to assist. Emails are automated answers. You cannot physically talk to anyone. Try canceling and it only says paused! Cannot afford to have payments done twice. No response of course. Do Not get suckered in by these folks!!!!

    Until recently I would have left a 5 star review. I reached out through the Flex app for help on self submitting my payment because the charge was incorrect in my rent portal. I told them the amount it should be a week before the 1st of the month. I didn't hear from anyone until the February 6th. By that time I paid my rent myself. Now Flex has deactivated my account and when I reached out again to reactivate my account for the month of March I received a generated message stating I can maybe reactivate my account in April and that they hope my financial situation gets better. Just because I wouldn't allow Flex to overcharge me doesn't mean I didn't have the ability to pay. I reached out and when they finally responded my account was deactivated

    I have been using Flex for over a year now. It is a company that pays your rent by allowing you to split the total into two payments. Its been working fine until this month. The app shows me now that my rent wasnt paid. However i have reached out to them via email (4 times) since they dont have a phone number and still havent received an email back. They didnt pay my rent for the month of February and my funds were available. Now im having to pay more for rent due to the lack of communication and their constant service issues. Ive also since then had to move the funds from the account i use for ********************** to a different account to make a payment to my rent office that is a completely different total for my rent because of late fees and evictions fees. I am a single parent with a fixed income and this is very unprofessional and has definitely been a big inconvenience for me. I just need to know what they are willing to do to fix the problem.

    I will start with this is you are only paying your rent and your rent only it does work. I have not had an issue with them paying my full rent amount. My sole issue is I have been using them since November and every single time my rent and water post on the portal they only pay my rent. The first time it happened I reached out to them and I did not have a screen shot when the water was posted on my account so I waited until December. My water posted a day prior to December 1st and I took screen shots and everything and I purposely pulled the money out of that account to reach out to them to show them that my rent on the portal included the water and sent them even s**** they said they would pay it and they did not so a week before January comes along I did the same thing begging them to please change the rent amount just put it as xyz vs the regular rent amount I put in there when I signed up. Someone said that they would change it to a higher amount to accommodate the water so I thought everything was fixed and come to find out it was not then I get a letter that water was not paid and I had 2 days to pay it or a eviction would be put out on us. And come February and yet again the water has not been paid and every single time I have to try to scramble to try to figure out how Im supposed to pay this water when in the contract they would pay it. So now Im left try to ask for money to help pay this water bill when that shouldnt be the case. And everyone I talk to gives me the same generic answer that they do pay utilities included in the water which they do not then the my tell me to reach out to apartment management to ask them to post the utilities prior to when they take the money out and the complex is doing that a day or two before the 1st of every month because its in the portal. If Im showing constant screen shots it should be a no brainer that the complex is posting it on time its something on their end and they just dont care to fix it.
