      I have no idea who this company is or what they do. I have never signed up for any membership or anything else with this company. I filed this complaint against the company, because they will reply to the BBB and probably ignore me. I'd like all the information about this account including the original application.       Brigit has no further information to provide. We would also like to note that a manager of our ************* team reached out to ************** via email to try to locate more account information, such as the bank account in which ************** is being charged, so that we could attempt to locate the connected Brigit account. We were then provided a "cease and desist" notice from **************, stating that we were not to contact him again. Since we have attempted to receive the information needed to resolve this issue from **************, but were denied such a request, we cannot resolve this issue to ****************** satisfaction. If ************** would like to provide the banking information for where he is seeing Brigit charges, we would happily review it and provide a resolution to this complaint.       1. This company can not stop making false statements and being dishonest.

      2. The attached pdf's show they have been sent the deposit information, it's also been sent to the BBB, *** identity theft division and the ** AG's office. As you can see from the email list.

      3. Its an identity theft account of course it doesn't have my email and phone number...clowns.  You've been told numerous times the phone number has a *** area code and the email is a gmail with the numbers **** in it.

      4. If you don't have my bank info, how did you refund the $8.99 membership fee? because you're being dishonest and you have the information.

      5. they refuse to give me a copy of the original application.

The membership has since been cancelled. Since this user was on our Plus plan from 1/31/24 until today, 4/3/24, all fees charged between those dates are correct and not eligible for a refund. With the Plus plan now cancelled, they are not being charged going forward.

      Ive been using the bright app for a while now to borrow money from my next paycheck and pay them back and the $10.00 a month fee that theyre still charging me even though I payed off all my dues and last months fee theyre still saying that I owe over $300 when I havent borrowed any money since my last payment. Many other people have problems with this app and theyre trying to charge me over $400 for something I never did, which is also affecting my credit as it says I have $320 dollars due to this company for no reason

      03/26/2024 I had $28 in my bank account as I just started a job after losing my last employer and didnt get a chance to pay Brigit back. I had checked my account and ******************** decided to take my only money until my next payday which is April 11th. I contacted them to let them know I needed refunded because I needed that money for gas and Insulin. Very horrible at replying back and was told no refund would be issued I told them it is for medical purposes and fuel for my car thats why I need my $28. I asked again to have a refund and to set my repayment date for April 11th. Still no reply back and therefore i contacted my bank and filed a dispute

      In this instance, Brigit found this user requested a $50 Instant Cash advance from us on 1/31/2024. Their due date was originally 2/14/24, which they confirmed via the Brigit app. All of our users must confirm their due dates by typing it into the Brigit app before funds are sent to them. On 2/12/24, this user changed their due date via the ******************** app to 3/15/24. On 2/28/24, they contacted our ************* team to extend their due date further to 3/15/24. This user confirmed that their due date would now be 3/15/24. On 3/15/24, this user's balance was due, but their payment failed due to insufficient funds in their account. The charge of $28 this user is seeing is a partial payment collected towards the past due advance of $50.99. Because the repayment of their Instant Cash advance failed on your due date, weve started to collect partial amounts when their checking account is at a safe balance and we dont anticipate an overdraft. These partial payments will contribute toward the full repayment. We always alert our users via the Brigit app when we will be deducting payment. Since the $28 payment is towards the $50.99 past due balance, we cannot refund this payment. The remaining balance currently has a due date of 4/11/24.

      Over the past year Ive used the app to save a substantial amount and now have run into issues with my employer and the bank I was getting paid to. Every time I try to contact Brigit regarding withdrawing my funds they say it is not possible if I do not have access to the bank the funds were being linked to. It gives u an option to change the bank and I read on their website if I need to change the bank associated to withdraw funds I need to contact them. Every time I do they say its nothing they can do. *** saved my hard earned money for over a year just for someone to tell me I could end up losing it. I need a resolution and for someone to tell me how I can get my money back even if they have to send me a check. Otherwise I will be seeking legal action.

Further, ******************** does not provide a savings account. This user states in their complaint that they "used the app to save a substantial amount" but that is not a service Brigit provides. We do not provide a product that allows a user to save funds into our accounts, as Brigit is not a bank. Further, we have reviewed our records and this user has never contact ******************** before. We believe this user is dealing with a company that is not Brigit, as this complaint describes products that Brigit does not have.

The Brigit account under the email *********************** was deleted in September of 2023 and has not been charged by Brigit since. This would indicate that this user, *************************, has two ******************** accounts. Since there is no additional emails or phone numbers provided in this complaint, Brigit is unable to provide assistance with this issue at this time. ************************* will need to contact our ************* team at *************************************** so that we can locate the account under a different email/phone number.

      On February 28th I canceled my paid subscription and moved to a free subscription. Today on March 7th I was charged 9.99. After contacting customer service they said I couldn't receive a refund because the 9.99 covered the last 30 days. This does not make sense seeing as I had to pay a membership fee when I started, which means the membership fees should be for the next month, not the previous one.

      Signed up for Brigit on Saturday march 2nd and received approval for a small deposit to pay a bill until *********** date in 2 weeks. I received the cash on Monday March 4th since I didnt have a debit card linked to my bank account. I used the funds to cover my bill and expected to repay in March 14th in my email. Alas Tuesday March 5th there is a pending withdrawal from my bank account for repayment. So now not only do I have a repayment pending with no funds in my account, my bank may charge me an overdraft fee. To pain someone money for not even 24hrs is asinine. I wish yall had denied me so I can explore other ************ you guys just left me in a bad situation!

      In this instance, Brigit found this user requested an advance on 3/2/24 at 12:29 and 6 seconds PM eastern time and at 12:**** and 38 seconds, the user tapped "Make a Payment" via the ******************** app. When a user taps "Make a Payment", they are initiating a repayment early. The original due date was 3/14, meaning that if the user did not tap "Make a Payment" early, we would not have deducted the payment until 3/14. Going forward, we encourage our users to not tap "Make a Payment" in the Brigit app unless they would like to make a payment early.

      I use the service years ago and I'm pretty sure I canceled the account about 2 years ago. They have not tried to charge me at all and now all the sudden about 5 days ago they tried to charge me so I contacted them to let them know and to make sure my account was canceled. I advise them I had not used the service in years and they were not to charge me again and they still did. Now I've tried to get a refund and they refuse saying that I'm being charged for a month of service but I don't want the service and I told them that and I haven't used the service in years. I want my money back.

      In this instance, Brigit found this user signed up for our Plus plan on 10/23/20 and her plan was cancelled by a ******** Care agent on 2/28/24. This would mean all fees charged between 10/23/20 and 2/28/24 are correct and not eligible for a refund. We would also like to mention this user has 2 outstanding advances with ********************, with a combined past due balance of $100.99. If the user would like to repay their past due balance of $100.99 from 2022, she may do so via the Brigit app. Since her Plus plan is now cancelled, she is not being charged by Brigit going forward.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      I have never received any communication of any debt owed. I have not been charged for at least 2 years for this account. I checked my balances daily and I get alerts every time a payment fails and I have gotten absolutely nothing from them so they just decided to start charging me this year.
