Seat Geek is a sleazy company. I had tickets in my checkout that I was considering buying, but I found better tickets elsewhere. Come two months later I found out they processed the tickets without my authorization. I was out around $800 for tickets to a game that I never went to. They never argued they didn't do that, but they were willing to give me a $100 credit. I don't want a credit, I'm not even asking for all of my money back, but I am asking for a reimbursement.Business Response

Our system confirms that the customer's order confirmation and fulfillment emails were issued on 8/29/22 shortly after the orders were placed, but were not opened until 10/28/2022. Furthermore our system confirms that the order was placed with an Affirm plan, which can only be completed by the user as it requires personal information and confirmation before being processed. Additionally orders can only be processed at checkout after the customer manually provides their payment information and selects "Place Order."
As it stands all evidence provided by our system confirms that this order was processed as the result of the user providing their payment information and the personal information requested by ****** and will remain all sales final. If the customer would like to dispute the Affirm loan then they will need to work with Affirm support.

I purchased tickets to concert in ******* for concert I reside in ******** since then I have been. I purchased a ticket for parking at *********** in ******* for *******-****** game on March 12, 2023. Approaching the parking assistant she informed me they do not honor SeatGeek tickets. The parking was $55 plus a $23 fee from SeatGeek. We had to scramble to find other parking a half mile from the stadium. The assistant informed ** that they have never accepted SeatGeek but they keep selling them. This is Fraud. Will be contacting ******* legislative representatives to see if SeatGeek can be expelled from doing business in the state.Business Response

I purchased two tickets to an event that was then cancelled and asked SeatGeek to issue a refund, which they did in the form of credit towards a future event. However, they also attached an expiration date to that credit and I was unable to use the funds in time. When I recently reached out to them to ask that it be extended, they told me that since it was already extended once, that they could not extent the expiration date again. The issue that I have with this is that I paid money for tickets to an event that was cancelled and I believe that I should have been issued a refund rather than a credit with an expiration date. Even my account shows that a refund was issued for the event, which it wasnt. I am bothered by the fact that SeatGeek would have been refunded for the tickets, but didnt pass that refund along to me as the consumer. Bottom line, given that the event was cancelled, SeatGeek owes me a full refund for the tickets I purchased in the amount of $91.58, and its unacceptable for that refund to be in the form of a promo code with an expiration date.Customer Answer

I purchased tickets for an event in ******* occurring March 3rd, 2023. My flight out of ****** ****** on March 1st was canceled due to weather and I could not make the event. I initially contacted Seat Geek thru the app and requested a seat swap. I was told I would receive a confirmation code to my email which I never received. I also reached out to customer service via email. **************** states they could not find the request for a seat swap but I was eligible to receive a credit. I never received the confirmation code. I have since reached out several times and the issue has not been resolved. I am out of over $800 despite following the instructions given to me. I am unable to contact anyone by phone and constantly being referred to the online chat. I was told on March 9th the issue would be expedited. It is March 15th and I still have not heard from anyone. Seatgeek BAIT & SWITCH SCAM: We purchased World Baseball Classic tickets (to the wrong game even though we went through the prompt they sent ** for ******* Game) and found out AFTERWARDS that the tickets are not able to be resold even though multiple places on their site it says you can. However, there was NO mention of this PRIOR to the purchase. This information is 100% dishonest & misleading - total bait & switch scam!! HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE: Their customer service is absolutely terrible - the only way to contact them is thru email &/or a chat/bot feature on their website. In addition, they will not refund our money or assist selling. They kept me on hold for 40 minutes re-explaining their procedures when they suggested I resell on STUBHUB but since they kept me longer than the gametime I couldnt even do that. AWFUL! Primary and secondary ticket markets are complex, and most ticket orders cant be canceled or refunded once theyve been submitted to ensure the validity of the tickets youre purchasing. Purchased tickets for an ******* Hockey game (6P2-99G552E) on November 2, 2022 for $216.28. The game was postponed due to a hurricane and I was never given new tickets, even though I contacted support. I was never refunded, even though I contacted support multiple times after the event concluded. Chat support keeps telling me they havent heard from the reseller. I purchased ***** tickets for a show on October 30 2022 through Seatgeek ********. I never received the tickets. I reached out to them, they informed me that the transaction didnt through. I gave them the email address, phone number, and card number. They assured me that the transaction didnt go through and the money will appear back into my account days later. The charge still continued to show on my account. Seat geek then advised me to dispute through my bank, Seat geek sent a response back to my bank of a valid charge from a different email (obviously that they made up) and denied the dispute. This is the biggest scam ever. I just wanted all monies returned back to me as this action shows no buyer protection!!Business Response

I attempted to purchase tickets to March 10 *** game. When I received the tickets from Seat Geek the tickets were for a game that had already started on the same night. I immediately contacted customer service and they informed me all sales were final. I let them know that I did not purchase tickets for a game that had already started, I was given tickets for the incorrect night. The live chat agent said there was nothing they can do. I even said Id be happy with a credit or an exchange if they could not process a refund but they were not willing to do that either. This was not my error and Id like to revive a refund for the 4 tickets.Business Response
