      My company Bohogoddessinu retained the services of **** Accountant to help my business with state filing and to do my income tax filings. I expressed that I wanted to terminate services with **** Accountants and they continued to bill me. I later contacted my bank USAA, and asked for a reversal. I do not have resolution.

      In short, my experience with 1-800-Accountant has been very poor.I am looking to receive a full refund for an abysmal tax amendment for 2022 in which I was charged $1,180. One for personal amendment and one for business. I did not realize the mistakes they made until I talked to a local accountant to provide me with financial and tax consultation for my business. I provided 1-800-Accountant with all necessary tax documents and expenses that they'd need to submit. It took them over 2 months to finally finalize the report. The whole time I struggled getting contact with them and had to call support twice for them to re-enable my chat messaging box so I could actually message the accountant. I was not able to schedule any meetings with them on the portal as my permissions were denied. They were supposed to file two annual reports for my business which take maybe 5 minutes **** They took over a month to file those and finally filed them after I told them, "It literally only takes 10 minutes to do it. Why is it taking so long?". They finally got my tax return finalized and had me review it. I saw a refund for $6,500 which was awesome to me because they promised me they'd be able to add a ton of deductions to make my tax refund better. I should've reviewed the return in detail, but I made the assumption that they're accountants and know what they're doing. Yes, my mistake on not reviewing it in detail. But my current CPA told me that they failed entirely to document $31,000 of real estate income which I provided to them and was actually on file in my initial 2022 tax return performed by myself on TurboTax. They also filed expenses in schedule c and schedule e when all of it should've been done in **************** an absolutely nightmare of a tax filing. Support told me they would not refund me, but they could amend the incorrect amendment. I told them that there's no way I'd have them doing my taxes again as they lost my trust with the botchery of the first attempt.

      To *******, I have confirmed that I have not been credited any amount whatsoever. I also wanted confirmed that I will be receiving a Certified Public Accountant familiar with ****** and state tax laws here as agreed upon when I initially signed up. I was also told you had a ************** so that the time zone would not interfere with scheduling of appointments as needed. Prior to this time I have received phone calls from the West Coast as early as 4 am. I would like your confirmation to specify that the quarterly tax filings and bookkeeping process, which I yet been unable to access, will begin Jan 1, **** , with no additional payments and pending satisfaction with your process at that time. I feel that this process to this point has been purposefully misleading bordering on fraudulent but I am willing not to go after triple damages with the New York Court system if this is remedied in future transactions.       Used ***** accountants to set up my business in 2021. They handled all of my bookkeeping and my taxes for the first year that I was trying to get my business set up. Today I received a letter in the mail from the *** saying that I now owe $12,000 in back taxes for the year they filed my taxes. I will have another accounting firm take a look at it to find out if there was anything done wrongly or if the *** is just s******* up. However this is a stressful and annoying letter I should not have to deal with and time and energy spent away from my life and business.

      On 10/19/23 I received the following email:The October extended filing date passed this week.       I received horrible service from the accountants. I had to file my business and personal taxes months late. I cancelled the services in May, but I have been charged for services not rendered every month since. I have called and asked to be removed. I have asked for my cards to be removed. I am told they will look into the problem. Yet the problem persists and I am still being charged every month for services I did not request and am not receiving.

      I was never able to use their services. Ive been requesting to cancel this service and a refund since 2022. I was behind on my payments and couldnt afford the payments. I also wasnt even operating my LLC yet. I still dont have an operating business. I filed my taxes for free with a non profit organization last month. *** had so much difficulty trying to upload my tax information with the sections being disabled in grey. I scheduled several calls with customer service but was never successful to file my personal or busienss taxes. ******* and ******* have been very understanding and helpful. However ******* told me her supervisor will call me last month. And never did. I spoke to the ********************* this morning who coerced me into signing up with them. He was SO rude, and unprofessional. Speaking over me and not letting me speak and explain the trouble Ive had with the situation. Not being able to upload documents to file for my taxes has ever been such a challenge. I cant I believe I paid 1,255$ and I have not received any service nor my money back. I found out that my account has been closed. But yet no refund has been received. Please help me. I was laid off last month and im. unemployed at the moment facing eviction. I really need my money back as i was unable to file taxes properly or at all. I did not use their services nor do I need them. I found the same services for free. They over charge and over promise and dont take accountability

      I regret to inform you that my issue referenced under ticket number ******** remains unresolved by the business. Despite my clear request for a refund, they have failed to take appropriate action. My experience with this company has been overwhelmingly negative, and I have no intention of patronizing them in the future. Any consideration for credit with this company is now entirely off the table. It is disheartening to witness their propensity for manipulation and exploitation of customers, contrasted with their lack of responsiveness when assistance is needed. Their eagerness to accept payment and pursue individuals for overdue amounts is starkly juxtaposed with their reluctance to honor refund requests, citing rigid company policies as justification. This behavior is unacceptable, especially considering their ample financial resources. A cursory review of their Better Business Bureau ratings confirms my suspicions – they operate with little regard for ethical business practices and are, in essence, engaging in theft.

      Hired the company to finish my books. They were supposed to be done in April then the person they had working on my books was let go then the next person they had working on my books never did anything and reasonable amount of time everything was promised to be done in April and it is October now the last response I received was on September 28 promising they were going to finish my books.       I paid in January 2023 for the preparation of my 2022 tax returns. Despite filing an extension and having all of my information to the accountants by early July of this year, they have still not prepared my returns and its difficult to get a hold of anyone to prepare them. There is a rough draft done, but there are mistakes and for the past month and a half I have been trying to get them to correct the mistakes. They have admitted that their mistakes need to be corrected, but have failed to do so and now I am likely to miss my filing deadline of October 15. I cannot get anyone to respond to me. I have tried calling the company where I do get a hold of someone but I cant speak directly with my tax team, they will only relay messages and they respond to me with my accountant is working on it and will be reaching out to you later today. That never happens. I have also sent countless online messages to four individuals on my tax team who will occasionally respond sometimes weeks or months after the messages sent when messages are supposed to be answered within 24 hours. When I do receive a response, it is an incomplete response. Sometimes it seems as though they have no idea what the subject at hand is, and nothing ever gets accomplished.
