I'm at a loss on where to even begin. Please, whatever you do, do not consider hiring 1-800Accountant. I was fooled by them that the service will be for the whole year service and after they received all my money, they changed the terms. They charged me $4700.17 for a one-time business tax service, and it's clear they are engaging in fraudulent practices, essentially coercing money from unsuspecting individuals. Every staff member I encountered exhibited a complete lack of professionalism. One of their tax advisors, ******, stands out as the most incompetent person I've ever had the misfortune of speaking with. Throughout our conversation, he continuously interrupted me and even had the audacity to complain to someone else about dealing with me. His behavior is utterly disgraceful, and it's evident he lacks the basic understanding of his job and how to treat customers with respect. I implore you to avoid this fraudulent service at all costs, as you'll inevitably end up losing money, just like I did.

The people assigned to work on my tax return does not seem to prioritize my needs or deadlines. I have to constantly be reaching out to them for updates, telling THEM what they need to do and then they don't get things seriously. I already missed the deadline with the *** and they don't care that I did. This is the worst tax preparer team I have ever used and the worst investment of my life. They are liars, unresponsive, careless and scammers. DO NOT FILE TAXES with them.1-800Accountant Response

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the tax preparation services I received from your company. Despite paying $2789, I did not receive the expected value in return.I completed all the work for my taxes, yet your company still filed my taxes incorrectly. The response time was exceptionally slow, and the answers provided were unhelpful or irrelevant. Additionally, my dedicated accountant was unresponsive after the first two appointments. I have attempted to contact her and the company about the error, but I have not received a satisfactory resolution.I have been scammed out of my money and have not received the services that were included in my tax preparation package. I am now facing the inconvenience of having to pay more to fix the errors made by your company.I am deeply disappointed with the lack of professionalism and customer service I have experienced.1-800Accountant Response

Do not waste your money. I paid almost 3k and was promised full tax advising for a year and to have my taxes filed for the year. I asked an advisor an accounting question that would take about 3 minutes to answer, I just wanted help entering a single journal entry, and was told sorry that will be another $400. So I paid 3k just to be withheld basic advice that would have taken THREE MINUTES to answer. The second accountant I was assigned was condescending and rude. They are absolutely running a scam, and you are better off literally anywhere else. I will be cancelling my subscription. Gotta respect the hustle though, taking advantage of folks who don't know better. Luckily I know better now. So yeah ***** Accountant is a great choice if you want to be scammed, get poor service and advice, and be talked down to.1-800Accountant Response

If I could give 0 stars I would, absolutely horrible- were quick and efficient to have contract signed and take payment. Never actually met with an accountant they kept rescheduling when I got tiered of waiting I submitted a complaint and it took them almost a month to respond then I asked for a refund because I had to find my own accountant for my bosses business and of course they said it was passed their 30 day policy. They did nothing to rectify the situation just threw there 30day policy at me. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!1-800Accountant Response

They advertise that you can write off the advisory calls and that hasn't been the case since 2018. But if you used this company you can write it off next year when the law changes that advisory accounting can be written off.. It takes days to get a response. Usually 2-3. It is NOT for small business. I went through 4 changes in my tax advisors since December and each had a different way to do things and the small business owner I am still owes thousands in taxes. None of the advisors are from where I live anyway and had to look things up while I was on the phone with them. I waited 6 hours yesterday to get someone to file an extension because they wouldn't respond last week when I asked for one. To which I had to file for one myself via paper since their online filing extension was down. Whoever said they are par for H&R Block is correct and H&R is drastically cheaper. NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR THE *****1-800Accountant Response

This has been the worst CPA experience I've ever had and I've worked with many CPA's over the years for various businesses I've run. I will be fair and say that your experience will likely be contingent on the team you are assigned to. Our CPA was beyond incompetent - we had to flag various errors that they made and we ultimately had to get our return amended because they missed something that resulted in a significant tax rebate. Impossible to get a hold of anyone, poor attention to detail, unqualified CPAs.1-800Accountant Response
