      I paid $729 for expedited (4-6 business day) *** formation/***/S-Corp on 12/21. After two weeks, I inquired what was taking so long and was told the state was running behind. After four weeks I inquired again and was told the same thing, but this wasn't true. 1800Accountant submitted an unsigned application to the state. 1800Accountant was informed of the issue, but they failed to fix it, even after my inquiry. I asked for a refund of the expedite fee and was told someone would get back to me within 1-2 business days, but no one did.They finally corrected the issue with the signature, and the *** was formed 1/22 along with the **** However, 1800Accountant somehow misspelled my company name. I was told that they would file an expedited amendment to have the name corrected. I requested a refund of the expedite fee again and was told someone would reach out within 1-2 business days, but no one did. After one week, I called the ************************* myself to find out what was taking so long, and I was told that 1800Accountant did not expedite the amendment, and that the name change would take 20+ business days. So, I went to the **** office myself and paid $200 to have the name change expedited. However, they never resolved the *** and S-Corp errors.Someone did finally reach out to me and told me they would not give me any refund, but he was not the one making the decision. I requested to speak with the decision maker and again was told someone would again reach out within 1-2 business days. As expected, no one ever did get back to me.So, I submitted a chargeback of $346 through my bank for ***/S-Corp/and expedite fee only because 1800Accountants repeated mistakes caused multiple delays with *** and they never corrected *** & S-***** 1800Accountant lied to the bank and said they provided all services, and the only issue with *** formation was that the state was slow in processing, which caused the bank to deny the chargeback. Very dishonest.

      I hire 1800Account to comlete my taxes and assist me with bookkeeping. The bookkeeper was great and at first the tas advisor was great. Then the tax advisor took another position and I was not contacted by another tax advisor. When I asked I was informed I needed to call to get a new tax advisor. Each time I called I was 8th or 9th in th Q which meant a long wait time. I paid over 3600 dollars and do not feel I should or could wait that long just to receive another tax advisor. I asked several times through my email to receive another tax advisor and never was assigned one. The only time I was offered another tax advisor was when I wanted to cancel my subscription with a full refund. I refused because now I am within 20 days of filing my taxes and need to know I have somebody that is going to be there for me and not lose another advisor. When asked for a full refund and said I would contact the Better Business Bureau I was told they had attorneys. Basically, I have lost over ******* and they are going to fight me with their attorneys what an a****** company.

Additionally, we understand that you were not willing to wait on hold with customer support to book an appointment with your advisor.       Refund Request: We acknowledge your request for a full refund totaling $3600. However, as stipulated in our Terms of Service, refunds are only processed within a 30-day period from the date of purchase. Given that you purchased our services on 1/29/2024 and requested to cancel them on 3/26/2024, which falls outside of this policy, we regretfully cannot fulfill your refund request at this time.

      On 10/10/2023 and again on 11/10/2023 I paid $1,329.00 ($2,658.00 total) to 1-800Accountant for them to prepare my 2023 taxes. I spent WEEKS trying to enter my information and their website would NOT save it. Plus, I didn't get the direction I was told I would receive. What a waste of my TIME AND MONEY!! It was NOT easy to reach 1-800accountant, but when I finally did I asked them for a refund. They refused several times. The man I spoke each time (*******) said: Our policy doesnt allow refunds after 30 days. I didnt and couldnt start working on my taxes until the end of January of 2024, which was after their 30-day refund rule", before I realized that their website was worthless and I couldn't get help! They dont care that their website doesnt work or that I wasted hours and hours of my time attempting to enter the information they needed to prepare my taxes. Or that it was virtually impossible to reach anyone on the phone or on a chat when I was SO frustrated and needed help! The amount they charged was more than I have ever paid to have my taxes prepared and I got nothing in return! In addition, I had to pay another accountant to have my 2023 taxes prepared. I cant afford to throw $2658.00 away!!!! I think they should pay me for the hours I worked with no results! My only other recourse is to hire an attorney, which will cost me even MORE!       Charged me 3000, with promises to handle all my business accounting needs. Appointments are pointless and they didnt guide me at all. Missed tax deadlines and wouldnt file extensions for me. Unfortunately, I recently discovered significant errors in their work dating back to 2017.In 2017, 1800 Accountant made a critical accounting mistake that has had serious repercussions for both my business and personal finances.       I was called by a 1-800-accountant salesperson while in the midst of searching for a new accountant. I was pitched and sold services that ultimately were not applicable to my situation, which I quickly learned by speaking with one of their accountants. I then filed a refund request and they took months to fulfill on it and ultimately said that they cant issue refunds after 30 days. So I am stuck with a service that I dont need and cant use, which cost $3500. *** never spent that much on an accountant filing personal tax returns Very confusing and upsetting. Id recommend most folks stay away from this company.

They apparently have several different tax preparers who do not communicate with each other. They totally botched the entire progress and did a lousy job so far! This caused misinformation, stress and delay for my business tax compliance.Attempts to resolve:My first accountant was very rude and cut off our call. The company apologized and reassigned me. After my second accountant did not respond to any correspondence mid December, I filed a complaint with the company. They then claimed the old accountant got a promotion and corrected that statement later saying it was actually a health issue and I would be reassigned. My new assigned accountant never responded to any correspondence and I was again reassigned in January. The fourth assigned accountant provided incorrect and misleading information about my previous tax filings. Then, he failed to review my account and was late to our meeting. I filed another complaint and requested a call from management which I never received. I reached out to billing and they refused to offer any solution or put me in contact with management. I am extremely upset with the level of service and no longer trust this company to file my taxes. I am demanding a refund for the services they have not carried out and compensation for the extremely inconsistent consultation I received because of their companies internal issues. Since signing up, I have been bounced around between multiple tax advisors, with the most recent one never responding to my phone calls. Messages on the platform are answered with a 3-5 day or longer delay.Most importantly, they did not notify or even mention to me in advance when the filing deadlines were, resulting in my filings being late. I found out later from friends when the filing deadlines were on 3/15 and I messaged and called 1800 accountant to file the extensions for me with no response.As a result, I had to file myself through a 3rd party called Tax Act which has not been successful.I originally signed up for 1800 accountant ************ services because I needed support for business tax advisory and for someone to walk me through the things I needed to deliver and when. They have not provided me with ANY useful support or guidance on filing deadlines, or how to file an extension. Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem:Ive called their customer service to complain and ask for a refund citing the low quality of delivery of services, but the only thing they could offer me was to bounce me to a new tax advisor (which would further delay my filings). They have not been helpful at all in providing ANY form of tax advisory support for me as a business owner, and refuse to provide a refund as well. At this point, I am looking for responsive support and guidance in helping me file extensions and complete my tax returns for the 2023 year.
