  On three separate occasions in less than a year I found I had new accounts opened on my credit report. They were listed as ESUSU/DAYRISE, a rental company. Both times I have had to email their support and get them to remove those off of my credit report. I was told both times they use a third-party software *** that mistakenly pulled my credit report and added the accounts. This is unbelievable to me. It's like a hack. I have never used that company for anything, ever and don't even rent. Something needs to be done about this practice. I'm still reviewing my options.

  Esusu, **** is a financial services company harnessing the power of data to bridge the racial wealth gap.  To that end, we work with property owners and managers to report the on time rental payments of their residents to the credit bureaus to help build and establish credit scores.  Rarely, we receive incorrect data which causes an individual to be reported on in error as happened here.  Our support team has reached out directly to the reviewer to confirm all steps have been taken to rectify this overall situation.  We have filed AUDs with the credit bureaus to delete all data from the reviewers credit report and our own databases.  Additionally, we have implemented further internal preventive measures to ensure the reviewer isn't reported again.  We offer our sincere apologies for any worry or frustration this incident may have caused.

  My loan approval and funds to ******************* posted took a little less than 4 weeks. I thank Esusu Inc. for helping me to get back on track with my rent.   They provide wonderful support when you are in a pinch for rent. I mean come on! 0% interest rate and no strong deadlines? That's great. Customer support could be faster in responding. But other than that, if I needed their help again, I would use them.

  I live in a section 42 building that gave our contact information as well as all the other 60 buildings in their portfolio to this scam outfit. I am also a tenant organizer for a non profit law firm that provides free legal advice to tenants.After studying this org and their true agenda, non profit housing advocates have moved to a position more strongly against rent reporting. Many have been fully against it from the get-go. Here's a LINK to an op-ed ** I see it: (1) the whole "voluntary" and "positive only" thing is just a trojan horse that the consumer reporting industry is using to get rent reporting established, then they can do away with it eventually; and (2) they may not even have to do away with it, since LLs and screening algorithms can simply interpret the lack of a positive report for a given month as tantamount to a negative report (i.e, if my report says I paid my rent on time for ******** February, March, and May, well what does that imply about my April rent?).Also be aware that if you don't actively opt out you are automatically enrolled in the program. Go back to your initial email and find the link to opt out. They won't allow me to add the link here.

  In regards to Esusus *********************** we partner with properties to communicate to their residents about this service they offer through Esusu.  Renters new to the program are provided with information about the program as well as how to opt out of participating.  There is a link provided in these communications to easily opt out and residents can also contact Esusu Support directly at any time if they do not want to participate in the program.  Our support team is here to help and their contact information can be found in all communications sent to residents and also on our website at esusurent.com.

  I submitted my application with this company on 10/02/2023, and I finally received an answer of being denied on 12/18/2023. The process states 4-6 weeks but it was way over the that amount of time to be denied. This is ridiculous and I believe this company is a fraud, this is ******** based company regardless of what the address states so please be aware and mindful to keep an eye on your credit because scams are everywhere.Amount of Rent Relief Requested: $2,000.00 Thank you for your application to our Rent Relief Program. We regret to inform you that you have not been selected as a funding recipient for our program, and we are unable to offer you assistance at this time.Principal Reason(s) that rent relief cannot be provided: Excessive obligation in relation to amount requested.I applied through my bank and received a better offer and a higher amount.

We work with property managers and owners to report on and also assist in providing financial literacy and other services to their residents.  The complainant is a resident with a property that is a client of Esusu.  Residents at this property received communications from their property on December 14, 2023 regarding the Rent Reporting program offer and to contact Esusu Support if they would like to opt out of the program.  On December 18, 2023 the complainant was opted out of the rent reporting program. On the same day, we have reached out to the complainant letting her know that she's been opted-out of Rent Reporting program and inform her that reporting for the property has not started yet. She responded to our Support Team and acknowledged the help we provided.

  I just received an alert from my identify / credit monitoring service that this company - who I am not registered with or associated with in any way - ran my credit. I have never authorized this company to do anything with my personal information. I'm contacting my credit monitoring service to review with them and will then decide what legal action may be needed.

  I also got an alert from Credit ***** saying that a new account had been opened under my name. Although it appeared within the last 2 weeks, it shows a history going back to March 2022. I have no idea who these people are.
