Esusu partners with and is the administrator for **************** which began operations in 2000 as a solution to provide zero-interest, no-fee rent relief loans to eligible applicants. **************** defines the criteria for Rent Relief and approvals are overseen by ****************'s independent ***** of **************** Esusu, in partnership with ****************, manages the application process and disbursement of funds.
All applications for Rent Relief go through a through review process and approval to receive Rent Relief funds is not guaranteed. Residents currently renting in ***************** and residing in a property Esusu works with, regardless of immigration status, is eligible to apply. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into agreements. Race is not a factor in eligibility.
Property managers or Landlords are notified when there are applications that come in from residents in the properties they manage. They are not involved in the decision-making process, they do assist with address verification during the initial application stage.
All requirements and steps requested during the process are to allow a thorough review of applications. We receive multiple applications daily and strive to review them within in a timely manner within our capacity. Applications are reviewed meticulously, and each request received is not treated lightly.

5 starsMy rental property management signed on with Esusu in December of 2023. I chose to not to opt out and see the results of them reporting. My credit score has went up over 150 points since they started reporting on 01/24 and I've also been able to take advantage of the no finance charged; rent relief loan after an unforeseen calculation caused my subsidized rent portion to increase to the amount of my monthly income without warning. I am also taking advantage of the tools they offer on their marketplace to help aid in my journey to homeownership which is why the credit reporting and building is so important and beneficial for me. This is the only thing I have credit with so it really has helped me tremendously. If something changes in the future and they are not doing what they promise to do I will update or share another review but as of today I'm happy and blessed to have been introduced to their services.Esusu Inc.

Thank you for the positive review! Disability is not a factor in the underwriting review process for Rent Relief. Anyone currently renting in ***************** and residing in any of the properties Esusu works with, regardless of immigration status, is eligible to apply. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into agreements. There are no income or credit requirements. Residents do not need to be enrolled in rent reporting to apply for rent relief so long as they live in a property that partners with Esusu.
