      Altice is optimum internet. I can see why they have a F rating. You cant speak to anyone that speaks english that I can understand, the one who take your calls will put you on hold indefinitely if you say you cant understand them, When you ask for supervisor they never connect you, these kids are running the place in the ground. I cant get repair service, again this foreign speaking kids play games with on the phone. Does Optimum/Altice care about it ?

      Zero star actually. Sadly, Optimum had a monopoly in our area and have been charging us $268/month for the 5 years we've been at our house. In these years, they have consistently had disconnection issues. Despite listening to them and going through all the proper technical pathways to getting it fixed, NOTHING CHANGES. When calling for a refund, they asked US to provide them with a log of dates each time we called in regarding the intermittent service issue. When we want to cancel, they offered nearly $3000 worth of discounts yet, cannot give us a refund of $268. **************** is scammy. They will drop your call if you want to cancel. Worst company ever.

      I planned for a technician to come set up internet, had confirmed and everything. Right before technician was supposed to come someone called saying it was canceled and they needed to reschedule. They said it was canceled because I had to pay more money after the initial amount I already paid for set up. Then said once I paid additional amount it was going to take a few days to get a technician out again. I ended up canceling the whole thing. Seemed super shady. They told me it would take ***** days to get all the money back I put in. So we will see if I get it back but it was a horrible experience. I was transferred so many times to the wrong people during this call too, just ridiculous.

      I would leave 0 stars if I could. The internet is spotty, and their customer service is horrendous. They scheduled three separate tech appointments within one week to "fix the issue," but failed to call or show up for any of them. Promptly cancelled the service and switched providers. DO NOT USE OPTIMUM.

      Optimum Internet and Mobile unethically applied a bait-and-switch strategy. On July 11, 2025, *** with Optimum offered a cell plan for $10 per month that had unlimited premium data and unlimited hotspot data. I have an audio recording of this telephone call. When I accepted the offer and ported my cell phone number to them from *******, they doubled the price and lowered the mobile service plan offering. On July 23, 2025, ***** with Optimum Mobile said that the best plan they could now offer would be $20 per month with limited premium data (50GB) and limited hotspot (15GB). I would NOT have switched to Optimum if this was the offer. Again, I have an audio recording of the July 11th conversation & offer from Optimum's ***. I played this recording for Optimum, but they will not honor their agreement/offer. I can also provide this recording to the BBB if it could be useful to help other customers avoid ********************'s unethical practices.

      I am filing this complaint due to a bait-and-switch experience with this internet and mobile provider. I was offered a promotional bundle for $60 internet and BOGO $45 mobile lines, totaling $85/month. The promotional rate has not been honored.Despite communicating directly with a representative named ******* and providing screenshots and message history, Ive been billed incorrectly for over two billing cycles. I was repeatedly told the issue would resolve itself, but it never did. Ive followed every instruction provided and have had no resolution.I am requesting a full billing correction and refund of any overcharges. If this is not addressed immediately, I will escalate this further and cancel service altogether.

      I've used Optimum (Suddenlink) for years as it was originally the only option in my area. I've stuck with it because the price for the basic Internet package was decent. However, the service gets worse every single year.I finally switched to a competitor and spent over two hours with Optimum Support trying to cancel. They draw the conversation out as long as possible with long gaps between responses and switching to different representatives (to restart the entire process) if you don't respond in under a minute. The final representative would not cancel my service for over one hour, no matter what I said. They used manipulative language ("They are new in town, you have been with us for so long") and even pasted in a ****** AI Overview of complaints about my new service. Awful service and shameful retention tactics.

      This is the most horrendous ISP I've ever had. I pay for 300Mbps internet and, at times, I get around 6Mbps.

      They deserve a zero. They lied to me about transfer of att new ******* 21 transfer and gave me a free ******* A13, then didn't clarify the clause where it not free and only free if your lock into a 24 month contract of services, but you can upgrade or change cellphone at all, when advertising no contracts cancel anytime. Well I cancelled and asked how to return the free cellphone because it wasn't even working and was g a cell I wanted when I had 1000 dollar cellphone perfectly fine to use. They said I couldn't bring any cell or get upgraded until I paid 185 dollars for a 60 dollar prepaid cell basically. A ******* A13 and told me it was actually defective and wasn't working correctly and that's why I wasn't able to receive calls. Then they went quiet thinking I would forget and loose emails and documents of all these false statements and complaints I already filed with the parent ************************ but I didn't and now I have a collection agency collection against me for the 185 dollars free no contact cell phone that they don't even want back because it is junk!

      Ive had Optimum for almost 2 months. Im currently going on 3, almost 4 days of our internet being down. I put a ticket in on a Monday morning- was told a different tech would need to come out. They left with the issue unresolved but we received a text the next morning that it had been done. They closed our ticket without fixing the issue. I then had to call back Tuesday morning and they put in a new ticket. I was told that someone would be out by Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 to fix it. That rolled around and no one came. So then I called and spoke with a supervisor that evening and she assured me that it was escalated and that by Wednesday at 8:30 AM it would be fixed. Well, Wednesday rolls around and then I called back and then I was told oh no they have up to 72 hours to fix it. So that goes all the way to THURSDAY EVENING. Every time I called I got a different answer from someone. It has been absolutely horrible. Ive had to miss four days of work now. I do not recommend them whatsoever. We have already called spectrum and plan to get that set up and cancel them. Were gonna pay more for spectrum with a lesser speed, but it will be worth it. Weve had them before with no issues. *** how this company is even in business. 0 stars if possible
