I was contacted by this business a couple of months ago but I don’t answer calls I don’t know, they then called my mother and had the audacity to tell her they needed to speak to me(everyone knows that’s a creditor). I called them and they refused to work with me on a payment plan. They claimed they extended the payments out but the payments were still over $100 I told them I could not afford that and they continued to force me into a payment plan or “action would be taken against me such as wage garnishment” I missed a couple payments due to the fact I couldn’t afford them to begin with and they continued to threaten me with wage garnishment instead of trying to work out a payment plan that works for me. I don’t want anyone else or myself contacted by this company because I’m beginning to think it’s a scam due to all these horrible complaints.

To whom it may concern, This consumer has an outstanding debt with ** ****. A dunning notice was sent to the home address of **** ********* ** on 4/5/2023. Initial contact with debtor made on 5/2/2023, where we allowed her to postdate her payment agreement on a biweekly basis with payments of $128.85, debtor agreed. First payment cleared on 5/30/23 with no issue, second payment on 6/2/2023 declined. She then asked for that payment to be moved to the end of the arrangement, WHICH WE DID. The debtor then, with the third scheduled payment for 6/16/2023, called in on 6/14 to cancel that payment as well. It was explained to her, by me, the office manager, that because she declined her 6/2 payment we could not move the 6/16 payment. That payment cleared and then on 6/30, her scheduled payment declined again. We have made NUMEROUS changes to this agreement and will not be able to rework this payment arrangement due to her NON COMPLIANCE. Cleary, we have provided this debtor with ALL account information and payment options, including a reduced settlement option. The balance in full is due. See attached.

Recieved a random email stating I owe money to advanced cash and we greeted by a rude agent name Caitlyn threatening to see me in court and refuses to give me a debt validation which their website says to call this number to request one. The collection agency has to validate the debt not the original company because it's been sold to the collection agency. I want a debt validation. Threatening calls and emails are insufficient

This company started contacting me within the last month or so. Stating I committed fraud. They are stating that I wrote a check that was returned for insufficient funds to Dollar General back in July 2017 and owe a balance of $205. I never received any letter until I requested one. I called the bank they said the check was from (I no longer bank with them) and they stated that they couldn't even pull anything up from that long ago. I have reached out to Dollar General. There's no way this can be within statue of limitations. I tried to ask them for a copy of the potential check and she got pretty angry and hung up on me, said they will be suing me and she will see me in court.

After speaking with Dollar General's District Manager today, she advised this is a scam. She stated that they would not be within statue of limitations. She also stated that they "laughed" that a company was even attempting to collect this.

I have attached a copy of the returned check in question. Along with our debt verification letter, which you received from us well over 30 days ago. It is not our position to force anyone to pay anything, however, you have been provided the necessary information to look into this matter far before today. Also, if you provided the bank with the check # and account number, regardless of how long ago it was, they WOULD be able to pull it up. Your account has been marked as a refusal and removed from the collection floor, however, balance is still due.

I will be reporting them to the Iowa Attorney General. Again, this is past statue of limitations. That is a $5 check and they are stating I owe 41 times the face amount. This is not legal. Attached was the only notice I had ever received which was dated on 5/15/2023 not even 30 days ago. On their "new notice" the original creditor was revised. How are these people even able to operate? The lady on the phone told me this is a fraud matter and she will see me in court.....for a potential $5 check almost 6 years ago? They are incorrect, I did call that bank and gave them the check number, I also called and spoke with Dollar General's District Manager. These people are a joke.

I have been receiving calls from this company called NARG. First they have been calling from multiple numbers which don't make sense. This lady named Amy left me a voice-mail stating they have been trying to get in touch with me and this will be this last attempt before they try to garnish my check and I need to call them back. So I decided to call them back and Amy answered the phone on the first ring. She stated I owe a debt from an account 8-9 years old. First off why call me about something that is that old and trying to collect off. Secondly I never received no letters saying anything to this nature. I have too much going on in my life to have people to try to prey on me to scam me out my money that I work hard for. These people need to get a real career and stop trying to prey on everybody to make a quick dollar.

The people at this business & phone number have repeatedly left messages stating they have a returned check. After inquiring at my bank there is NO returned check in my account. They are now harassing my spouse and immediate family for contact info on me as I have them Blocked on my phone. Most likely the information they have access to (in order to call my close family relatives) has come from a credit file leak which was reported to me by a vendor I used. STOP calling me and get a real job instead of trying to EXTORT money illicitly!!!

Check # 909 written from your ******* **** account ending in *******.  You also provided a GA state PHOTO ID ( ********* )If a relative contact was reached, it was only ONCE, which is not harassment. You can verify with ******* Bank that this check was not cleared. This check is still UNPAID and due. Thank you!Ashley M. Operations Manager

I have received a notification from NATIONAL ACTION RESOLUTION GROUP LLC. On 03/13/2023 stating that I had an unpaid debt of $899.85 from ACE CASH EXPRESS. After receiving this notification I personally reached out to ACE CASH EXPRESS corporate, and found out the correct information, as well as case number, any balances owed as well as the transaction date. In Ohio the statue of limitations for a debt collection is six years. My original transaction occurred in November of 2015, almost 8 years. As well this company NATIONAL ACTION RESOLUTION GROUP LLC is stating my amount owed is almost DOUBLE what the actual debt is. This seems very suspicious considering the company that ACE CASH EXPRESS sold the debt to is NOT the company that sent me a notification. I would like this to be resolved as well not contacted by this company again, considering the limitation for collecting has passed already. I don’t understand where they have came up with this amount owed, account number, or any of this information.

A call was made and a message left by Michelle, from National Action Solutions agency to my daughter’s phone on 03/09/23. Michelle left pertinent information on her voicemail regarding an old debt of mine, which I believe is a violation.
I was able to retrieve the voicemail from my daughter and return Michelle’s call. I was met with rudeness, yelling as well as aggressiveness by Michelle. I did lose my cool and yell back. I asked for her not to contact my daughter and she replied she will contact both of them.
I advised her the debt was paid ($425) Michelle screamed and yelled at me that it wasn’t, she eventually hung up on me multiple times before blocking me. The debt is over four years old and settled in 2019. I have not received any correspondence from anyone requesting payment until today. I’m not sure if this is a scam or what. Fortunately for me, I recorded each call and have the transcript and recording of the message she left on my daughter’s phone. I advised her I will be reaching out to the Attorney General’s office to file a complaint. She responded (yelling) a judgement will be arranged and my wages will be garnished. I sent an email requesting someone who can professionally communicate and someone who possesses a calm mind to reach out.

I've received 2 phone calls/voicemails from National Action Resolution but no other form of communication or notification until today, 2/21/23. In the voicemails they didn't even identify themselves. They say they are attempting to collect on a debt for "bad checks" that were apparently written approximately 3 years ago to ****** Supermarkets. I've received 1 email today, that I had to request, so I would have something in writing. In both voicemails left they intimated that I might need legal counsel, which I'm guessing is a scare tactic. They reported that I wrote 3 separate checks, on 3 separate days, none of which were ever paid and were returned as NSF. The young lady, Amanda, I spoke with when I was finally able to call back, stated that I used my ID when I made the purchase. That's all good except it was THREE YEARS ago and I can't possibly recall that.
Also, why have I not been notified of the issue in all of this time? Had I been, I certainly would have taken care of it. But now, I'm told there is some ridiculous amount of $1156.45 due but that they are willing to settle for half of that- Oh, and it is due tomorrow, 2/22/23. First, I don't have that kind of money just laying around. Second, even if I did, at this point, I don't know that I would pay it. They are implying that I was "passing bad checks", which makes it sound as if it was done on purpose. I resent the implication that I was intentionally trying to defraud the company I worked for for 17 years! For all they know, and which was probably the case, I may not have even realized I was in the negative since NSFs don't usually come back immediately. So for those reasons, I'm disputing that I owe this money. I didn't dispute this debt sooner because I'm only now hearing about it now, almost 3 years later. This company has an F rating with the BBB and a 2 star rating and I can see why. Please see the attached document included in the email I received today.

I was notified about a debt that I was supposed to accumulate. I know nothing about it. I was notified about the debt. The company never sent me a letter, a bill, or an email stating payment arrangements that were stated in the text I received. I think this is a scam. I think that the people responsible are trying to get people information for scamming purposes. I want this to stop and no I don't owe anything to anyone. I just bought a house, nothing is on my credit stating any outstanding debt. Please help!

Out of the blue, I received a text message from this company, which I DID NOT agree to them to be able to text me, that I have some unpaid account with them. Nothing in the mail for verification, they call multiple times and will not identify who they are/they are collecting, and now I've found out they have been contacting my family members telling them I owe something. My credit report is clear, I believe this is a scam and if it is not, I will file charges under the fair debt collection act

A dunning notice was sent, as I stated, and multiple emails with the same information. It is not our responsibility to update consumer contact information, it is yours, and a mini Miranda is given at the beginning of EACH conversation, along with being stated on each letter and email sent.
