    Obvious scam. Call the police immediately if they show up to your door. They state theyll lower your electric bill and that they work for pepco, which is not the case.

    Had a guy from spring power and gas knock on my door today and demanded to see my electric bill. I told him I wasnt going to show it to him just for him to demand to see it again. Telling me there was a survey on it he needed to see. He told me if I didnt show him my bill and the survey they would just keep coming back until I did show them. He ended up walking away and going to the apartment next to mine to try and get them to show him theirs.

    I already left a review about my terrible experience with spring power and gas, but after I got everything sorted out and switched back to my original supplier, Spring Power and Gas called me to try to get me back and say it was my fault and that I made a mistake. They even called from more than one number when the first one was blocked and left me voicemails. They should not be allowed to call me after I have terminated service with them, especially if I have blocked their number and they use a new one to call me and hound me again. Absolute scam and a total headache.

    Scammed me just like the rest. I was suspicious and still was tricked. A salesman knocked on my door and claimed to be with my new supplier (had just switched suppliers and just moved) and said he needed a signature to complete my switch. I asked him to provide ID before I would open the door. His ID did not match my company, and he claimed they were a subsidiary of AEG. I was very nervous, as I live alone, but he came in and even vaped in my apartment. I asked what I was signing, and he said it was complete my supplier switch and that I had missed my piece of mail that I had to sign and send back. I told him I never received it. Obviously he was lying about everything. I got switched to Spring power and gas without my knowledge or consent, and he entered my apartment building (that is a locked complex) with a posted non soliciting sign. I asked how he got in, and he said my building manager let him in. I was lied to about who he represented, how he got in, and what I was signing. I didnt even know what spring power and gas was until my bill was triple its normal amount and my supplier had a different name. Do not even open the door for these scammers and liars.

Other Spring-branded apparel includes company-branded jackets, hats, and polo shirts.     Scammers. Gentleman came to my door and told me that bge customers were being contacted to offer lower power supplier rates. I fell for it. I have now changed my password and deleted my payment info from my bge bill. I have not answered their phone call to verify the change in suppliers.

    They came to my apartment door and we had just moved in a week ago. I had my electric set up with PP&L before moving and had no issues. When I answered the door, the person asked to verify my PP&L to make sure that I had the electric and said that they work with PP&L to get lower costs. Scammed me fast without my knowledge, and they took advantage of me not knowing the area I moved into. I called and cancelled immediately with customer service and requested a written form of cancellation to my email and recorded the call just in case. I am very upset with everything that happened today and will never trust Spring Power & Gas again.
