  To prepare for a trip late August 2025, I contacted SGT Auto Transport early July to arrange to ship my car from ***********, **, to **********. I explained to them I was taking a coast to coast road trip from ********** to ***********, and specifically asked for guaranteed shipping date, which the sales person (***) on the phone gladly offered for an additional fee. I explained that I was flying back the day after the shipping date, so it really needs to be guaranteed. He assured me "no problem, we work with thousands of carriers nationwide, no problem at all". That said, sure enough, on the day before the shipping date, the Helpdesk chat (I can't tell if it was a bot or a real person) assured me "we are working on securing a carrier for you on high priority, do not worry, we will ship your car tomorrow. If we don't secure a carrier today, we can still secure one tomorrow, do not worry." Well, worry I did, and rightfully so, because throughout the next day, after multiple contacting the help desk chat (bot? still not sure), who kept assuring me that it will be fine, and they still have all day, I then had to forego my flight the next day, get in the car in the morning (dropping off my son at the airport, he HAD to go back for college) and started driving back, ***** miles in 3 days (!!!!!!) because SGT Auto Transport is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!! They should have told me that "guaranteed delivery day" is a SCAM and when I told the sales person that I had to catch a flight the next day, he should have told me, "well, we can't really guarantee it, so you're better off planning to drive back or not doing the trip". *** ***** and he did NOT give me the full truth. I had to be back in 3 days from ********** to ********** because SGT Auto Transport is a shady business with lying sales staff. To close this review, I want to state that 3 days after the guaranteed pickup date they texted me "good news! we are ready to ship your car" I was already in ************ at that point.

We fully understand your frustration when the vehicle was not picked up on the guaranteed date, especially given your tight travel schedule and the planning that went into your cross-country trip.
  
  At SGT Auto Transport, we always strive to meet our commitments, and we have successfully fulfilled guaranteed pickup dates for the vast majority of our customers. However, as outlined in our Customer Shipping Contract, occasional exceptions can occur due to circumstances beyond our control. Specifically, section 24.(d) of the agreement states:
  
  Pickup Guarantee: *** guarantees to pick up your vehicle on the confirmed Guaranteed Pickup Date. In the rare event that we are unable to meet this commitment due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, road closures, mechanical failures), *** will provide timely communication and work diligently to reschedule the pickup at the earliest available opportunity.
  
  In your case, our team continued to work actively to secure a carrier and did follow through on arranging transport at the earliest available opportunity. That said, we deeply regret that the timing did not align with your travel plans and that the situation caused such disruption.

  This company was AMAZING!! Affordable, great communication, and got my vehicle there without issue. I even gave them the wrong address and not only did they accommodate but exceeded my expectations with no financial change. I just wish they had a virtual tracker.

  You did want another company failed to do. Obtain an enclosed trailer for a transport. The only issue is that I was left a voicemail one evening and before I could confirm back to approve arrival date/time they had already dispatched. Luckily someone was there to assist them. The drivers themselves were absolutely kind, caring and respectful.

  Good luck trying to get a hold of a person when you call. I could only get a hold of someone through email. They had me sign a contract as to which they didn't uphold. They say they will assign a driver 1-3 days from when you request. One the third day, they tell us that they're having a hard time finding a driver (in the ******* area - not a remote area) and if we wanted them to pick up our car, it would be an additional $700! Double what we were quoted. Don't believe any good reviews and avoid this company.
