    I chose *** because they advertised and upcharged for a guaranteed pickup date. That date came and went without a pickup. This failure created significant logistical issues and enormous stress, as we were trying to ensure our vintage car arrived in time for our daughters wedding.When a new pickup was offered for the following day, the slot vanished in the short time it took to make arrangements. After multiple phone calls, another pickup was scheduledat a higher fee. I had no real choice but to agree. Even then, the promised pickup time was delayed repeatedly before the driver finally arrived.The entire experience was a nightmare. *** failed on both their commitment to date and to price, and the lack of accountability was unacceptable.

    Were sorry to hear about your frustration and appreciate the opportunity to clarify. As per the agreement, *** arranged a motor carrier to pick up your vehicle on the guaranteed pickup date. Unfortunately, due to mechanical issues with the assigned truck, our team had to reschedule with a different carrier, which caused the delay. Mechanical failures are rare occurrences that cannot be predicted at the time of assigning a carrier but can cause disruptions, particularly in time-sensitive situations.

    This is also outlined in the contract under point 24(d):

    "Pickup Guarantee: *** guarantees to pick up your vehicle on the confirmed Guaranteed Pickup Date. In the rare event that we are unable to meet this commitment due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, road closures, mechanical failures), *** will provide timely communication and work diligently to reschedule the pickup at the earliest available opportunity."

    As agreed, our team worked diligently to promptly secure a new carrier, and your vehicle was successfully delivered despite the initial delay. Regarding the price adjustment, this was presented as an optional solution to help avoid further delays. You were not obligated to accept it, but in time-sensitive situations, we make sure our customers are informed of all available options so they can decide on the best course of action.

    Last minute, after signing a contract within a month period and after several daily email reminders, they raised the price from 900to move a car from sea to *******, to 1400 .It doesnt make any sense. We signed a binding contract. Your company waited to the last day to raise the price and tell me its what I have, take it or leave it A friend of ours got the same 900 price from ******* to *******, same time frame. No additional fees were sprung at them at the last minute. So definitely something fishy!Ridiculous. I will never use this service again. Even if I drive the car myself. Its a matter of principle. Stick to the contract or I will find another company.Please do not give me the story of market changes. It did not change for the friend and it did not change in the two weeks during our booking, we signed a contract!!Plus the company you contracted for us to move our car scratched the front hood in two places and , you and them, refuse to take responsibility for it, (after us having taken tons of pictures before and after as proof).All *** cared for is me changing my review. Actually Im adding to it.*** had the audacity to give me a bogus company with a fake number to reach out for insurance purposes. I am filing a complaint against your company. I paid lot of money for piece of mind and insurance, but instead it was all a headache from A to Z. Never again.!!

All of our contracts state that pickup and delivery dates are estimated unless a guaranteed pickup option is selected, and that rates are based on current market conditions at the time a carrier is assigned. While we always strive to secure carriers at the originally quoted rate, if no carrier accepts within the agreed timeframe, customers are presented with the option of waiting or approving a revised rate. This is never done to mislead but to ensure service can be completed within your timeline.

    Your vehicle was fully insured during transport, and as outlined in the signed contract, customers are required to report any damages within 24 hours of delivery. In this case, we were not notified within that timeframe.

    Nevertheless, our dedicated claims team always makes every effort to investigate and ensure every issue is handled to the best of our abilities. We have already initiated an investigation regarding the reported damage, involving both you and the responsible carrier, to ensure the situation is addressed properly.

    We appreciate you sharing your concerns and want to reassure you that we take these matters seriously and are committed to resolving them in accordance with the terms of our contract.

    Could not be happier! I got an online quote in May for an ****** pick up date, every question I had was answered in a timely manner. I felt like they held my hand the entire way. Received an email a couple days before my pick up date saying they secured a carrier, got a call day of saying driver would notify me of pick up time and location. Met the driver, loaded up the car and it was on it's way to ***** from **********. Once at location, recipient was notified and given plenty of time to coordinate pick up. They stayed on schedule, no additional fees from my contract, excellent communication and overall smooth, amazing transaction. If I ever need to ship another car, I'm calling ****

    SGT Auto Transport is a predatory scam operation disguised as a legitimate business. What should have been a simple ********** to Florida car transport became a nightmare of extortion and incompetence.We booked a month in advance and agreed to $1,239 with a 3-day pickup window. Despite having a whole month to arrange a driver, *** completely failed to show up, then had the audacity to demand an additional $76 to proceed - classic bait-and-switch tactics. They made our original contract completely worthless by forcing us to sign a new one with their inflated pricing. They deliberately lowball quotes to trap customers, then extort extra money when you're desperate and have no choice.Even after paying their ****** fee, *** continued failing spectacularly. Pickup was delayed another day, and our car arrived a full day LATE, missing even their 7-day delivery window. Their communication was nonexistent - just excuses and demands for more cash.When we demanded compensation for their multiple failures, *** offered the most insulting response imaginable: $50 in worthless ************** vouchers. These restrictions-laden discounts are useless for people who cook at home, but *** apparently thinks customers are stupid enough to accept this garbage as meaningful compensation. They can demand real money from you but won't provide real money back when they s**** up.*** operates purely on customer desperation. Once you're committed, they know you're trapped and will pay whatever they extort. Their entire business model is built on deception, delays, and treating customers with complete ************* yourself the agony - use ANY other transport company. *** will rob you blind, waste your time, then insult your intelligence with worthless vouchers. This company is a disgrace that deserves to be shut down.

    As outlined in our Terms and Conditions, SGT Auto Transport operates with estimated pickup windows, not guaranteed dates and times, unless our ************************* is specifically selected. These windows are designed to reflect real-world market conditions, which are inherently dynamic and can be impacted by a number of factors outside of any brokers control including route demand, fuel prices, weather conditions, and carrier availability.

    With regard to the additional rate presented, this was not a bait-and-switch but an adjustment based on current market conditions at the time of dispatch. When carriers request higher compensation to complete a route, our responsibility is to inform customers transparently and present available options. You were given the option to accept or decline, and by moving forward, the adjusted contract was willingly signed. While we always strive to honor original quotes, market changes may at times require flexibility in order to secure timely transport.
    Concerning the compensation offered, it is important to note that the restaurant discount codes were provided and accepted as a goodwill gesture in acknowledgment of your frustrations. It is therefore unfair to later claim that the compensation was worthless after having accepted it in resolution. These codes are widely used and valid, though we understand they may not meet every individuals lifestyle preferences.

    Finally, we must respectfully address your characterization of SGT Auto Transport as a predatory scam operation. This statement is both inaccurate and defamatory. We are a licensed, registered, and longstanding auto transport broker with thousands of satisfied customers nationwide. We operate transparently under *** regulations and with clear contracts, terms, and conditions that each customer reviews and signs before we proceed. While no transport process is without its challenges due to the many variables involved, accusations of fraud or predatory practices are untrue and misrepresent the nature of our business.

    The service provided was good, but I am very disappointed with the last-minute cost increase. The original contract was for $1,259, but at the last minute, when the carrier was being assigned, I was asked to pay $1,445. I had no option but to pay; otherwise, the vehicle shipment could have been delayed. I had read about this behavior in multiple reviews for other companies, but I did not expect it from ****

    SGT Auto Transport met my expectations and the process of shipping my car from Tenneses to ************* was satisfactory. I was bombarded with many shipping offers with some being too good to be true. The key for me was understanding the market price based on what top rated companies would price match against lower offers. The *** vetted transporter picked up my car on the 2nd day of the 3-day window and delivered it without any problems other than it was not delivered door to door which I suspected.R/******

    Worst transport company *** ever dealt with! They missed there guaranteed pickup window by 5 days.. I called to cancel my order and they insisted to make it right and guaranteed they would have my truck in ***** by Monday so I could start my new job. I was hesitant based off them missing the ex pickup window, but he promised it would be picked up Saturday morning and dropped off in ***** no later than Monday. My truck got picked up Saturday morning at 10am and sat and sat in ******** ca for two days before it started traveling. Luckily I put a AirTag in the truck to be able to keep track of it. The first ****** drove a couple hours then said he got sick and handed it over to another ******, which I was not informed by the transport company and did not have the new ******s information. Then my truck started traveling again and stopped in ********** and said he had trailer trouble and inform me if I was in a hurry to get the truck I was more than welcome to fly out to ********** and pick it up, but would still have to pay the full amount.which it was there for four days. I had to call the local cops in ********** to show up to my truck to make sure it was still in one piece. They FaceTime me so I could see my vehicle and seen the vehicles that were behind it. After it sat there for four days he finally got back on the road which the ****** stopped about every 60 miles taking a break. My truck finally showed up Friday. Which I noticed he had different vehicles on the trailer. There were handprints all over my vehicle and noticed my window was down and there was dirt and leaves on both floorboards. I even reached out to the owner on Instagram and he didnt seem to care at all or try to make it right. All I can do is warn future customers to not use this company cause you will only be let down and disappointed!
