  SHAMEFUL SERVICE AND PERFORMANCE. STUNNING HOW BAD.
  1. SGT Auto Transport is NOT a trucking company. They are brokers for third party truckers with little or no control of order fulfillment.
  2. Twice received 'No later than' delivery dates. First trucker was a no show. Second was 4 days late delivering.
  3. Our vehicle was 7 days late from original order. Fouled up getting daughter to college on other side of country.
  4. At one point, they outright lied to us that our car was near Tennessee (start in N. California). We checked the tracking device we put in our car and it was still in the third party truck yard in Sacramento. Unreal.
  5. Absolutely use a tracking device (Air Tag for ex).
  6. Along the way while seeking updates we were repeatedly put on hold for 15 minutes, at which point we would hang up.
  7. Slick SGT website is terribly misleading.
  8. Clear their bushiness plan does not prioritize repeat customers.
  9. They have your car. They tell you what you hope to hear - then turn it loose to third parties.
  10. We picked them because they seem to be rated in top three if not #1 in transportation companies.
  Our guess is they manipulate the positive reviews.
  11. Disgraceful is the kindest thing we can say.

  I scheduled a pickup with SGT as part of a move, paying an additional $300 for a GUARANTEE that they would come on a specific date.
  I sent the full amount to the company as requested on the scheduled day of pickup and was promised by the representative on the phone that I would have my vehicle picked up within the next two hours.
  
  The contractor not only failed to arrive within the timeframe but has not answered any calls and seemed to ultimately block my number. When I informed SGT of this, they offered to merely return the “guarantee” surcharge, but seemed content to charge me the full amount for pickup despite this derailing my move.
  
  Their call center employees seem to switch between Americans and others with a rudimentary knowledge of the English language and are only occasionally of any real help.
  
  The positive reviews for this company, while numerous, are completely misleading as SGT’s service appears to be only as good as the subcontractors they select. After my experience, it is safe to say that there is little if any vetting process for their drivers.
  
  If I could give a reader a word of advice, it would be to use this company only if you are comfortable with empty promises and abject failure.

  Much of SGT’s response to my comment is categorically false, and their vague message fails to make it known that I was forced to pay more than $100 over the quoted amount because the company’s commitment to customer service appears to be so nonexistent that they would not honor their word, even though I reminded them of their promise.
  
  Even worse, I received a call today from an SGT representative asking me to delete the above review in exchange for compensation equaling the amount I should have been paid in the first place. This was not to be cash in the amount I was owed, but instead a gift card to be used at “restaurants in your local area that participate with the service.” When I told the representative that this was not nearly enough money, especially if not in cash, they offered to double it immediately in exchange for the same terms. When they raised the offer though, it felt much like bribery. I told the representative as much and they then lied about offering me money in exchange for the deletion of my comment.
  
  In summary, they do not keep their word and seem willing to compromise your character to make a buck. I have somehow been having a worse experience with the company after our business finished than during. Again, avoid SGT Auto Transport at all costs if you want to keep your money and your morals.

  Scheduled transportation with them, I called because hadn’t heard anything on the last day of the 3 days, they said they were having trouble securing a carrier. Asked to speak to supervisor to see if this was going to happen or if need to find someone else. No supervisor would come to phone, will call you back in 30 minutes. No call 2 hours later, call back they hang up on me. Would recommend finding another company, one that will at least take your calls and if having issues communicate that with you.

  Scam, Priced them out to ship my car from NJ to Florida. $730 was a good price compared to the others. Confirmed and signed the needed documents. They said the following week I would be contacted by shipping company and they have a 3 day window to pick up the car. Never received a call back, I had to call and check on status. Than on last day of the expected pick up date they called and said because of high volume the price is now $980. Don't do business with them. The price they give you will be changed on you. I canceled the order. I will find another more trustworthy company.

  I am very impressed with the professionalism of this company. SGT Auto Transport did not disappoint. They quoted a price and kept to the price quoted. They kept in touch the whole time and communicated through email, text messaging, and phone calls. I was very apprehensive initially because I have read horror stories about auto transport companies and this was my first time using an auto transport company. But, SGT was awesome from start to finish. The driver arrived on time, picked up my vehicle and delivered it way before I thought that it could be delivered. My car was delivered in excellent condition with no damage. Based on my experience, I highly recommend SGT Auto Transport.
