This company has repeatedly contacted me searching for another individual. This is harassment. I have not given them permission to contact me nor did I give them my phone number. Collection agencies are the scum of the business world. I want them to stop contacting me immediately.Business Response

Got
I am writing to file a complaint against First Source Advantage LLC. For over a month, I have made several hundred calls to their business line from 8am-5pm to clear some debt with the collector, but it has been without any form of response or correspondence. This lack of communication is highly frustrating and unacceptable. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter.

On July 27th i spoke with a representative from first source advantage about settling a debt with ******** *******. They told me if i paid them a one time payment of $8090 it would settle my debt in full and that they would send me a letter as well as as the credit bureaus that the debt has been paid. They even promised me it wouldn’t show up as settled for less. I spoke with ******** ******* on august 14th and they said they received the $8090 payment but i still have a large balance due and the account is not settled. Now i can’t get anyone at first source advantage to respond to me. Total scam. I will be filing a complaint with the attorney general and have to hire an attorney. in 2004 with our office to collect this debt. On
July 27, 2023, Mr. ***** settled his ******** ******* account in the amount of
$8,090.00 and ******** ******* was notified accordingly. After
reviewing the call recordings, we informed Mr. ***** that ******** ******* is responsible
for the credit reporting and they will report that the account was settled,
with zero balance. If Mr. ***** has any further concerns regarding the credit reporting,

Firstsource has been calling me and harassing me regarding a bill but they wouldn't hang up on me because I don't go by my middle name which I thought was odd but they did say the company name that I supposedly owed and I thought that was odd due to the fact everything of mine had to get changed like my password,bank account,new phone and ect due to the fact my identity was stolen and everything was hacked about the beginning to middle of the month of May. So they called again but this time they didn't care about the middle name the person stated I owed a bill to **** plus which I didn't because I contacted them and they said no I don't owe nothing and that company is trying to scam I have the transcript from our conversation **** plus and me (****** ******) firstsource said yes you owe $40 then said $65 they didn't even have the amount right and said I had several account's with them which I don't and if there is I didn't do it... I told them that it was a scam and contact the company and they stated I didn't owe anything so she transferred me to someone else come to find out it was a scam this happened in Korea which I live in Michigan but they wanted my drivers license and bank account and routing number and I refused to do that and they wouldn't get anyone else to help me but yet they have all my personal information and they know it's coming out of Korea and still won't help me cuz I refuse to give them my new banking informationBusiness Response

our standard complaint process, a thorough investigation of the allegations was
performed. ******* Payment Solutions,
LLC placed 13 accounts in our office for Ms. ******. Payments were made to ***** ********* which were returned unpaid. ******* Payment Solutions, LLC has paid ****+
********* for the unpaid ACH transactions. On
May 24, 2023, Ms. ****** spoke to our representative who attempted to verify
that we were speaking to the correct person. Our records do show Ms. ******’s
full name ****** ***** ******. The representative advised Ms. ****** of the
balance, and initially stated $40.00 as that reflects on the account as the
principal amount without fees, however the total balance due with fees added is
$65.00 The representative clarified that with the fees, the total balance is
$65.00. As
Ms. ****** advised the representative that the balances were fraud, she was
transferred to ******* Payment Solutions, LLC. It was on this portion of the
call in which the ******* Payment Solutions, LLC representative asked for Ms.
******’s driver’s license number and bank account details. Ms. ****** did not
feel comfortable providing the information to ******* Payment Solutions, LLC and
the representative was unable to further assist with the claim without the information.
Per the conversation with our office,
Firstsource Advantage, LLC updated Ms. ******’s accounts in our office with her
fraud claim. Please
note that Firstsource Advantage, LLC does not report to the credit bureaus. For
any concerns regarding the credit reporting, we would recommend that Ms. ******
contact ******* Payment Solutions, LLC directly at ###-###-####.Upon receipt of this complaint, Firstsource Advantage,

I am being harassed by first source advantage llc. They are trying to collect on a debt that I am disputing. I asked them to send me an email which they claimed not to have. I don’t know a business which does not have an email address. They were required by law to send me a certified letter by mail within 5 business days of contact and they have refused to send that mail. I have requested a debt validation letter, proof of debt assignment and proof that they are licensed to collect debt in the state of MD and they have not sent it and are claiming they don’t have the paper work. I am disputing this debt. I see they are on my credit report I will advise them to stop until I receive the paper work. If this paperwork is not received within 30 days under the law this debt is considered canceled and should not be reported to my credit report. I REPEAT I AM DISPUTING THE DEBT. I need all the documents I have requested. The so called manager was so rude and hung up the phone on me again violating the fair debt collection practices. $375.00 which were returned unpaid. ******* ******* *********, LLC has paid ***** ** ****** *** for Ms. ***** *****’s unpaid *** transactions.
On
April 3, 2023, and April 17, 2023, Firstsource Advantage, LLC sent letters to
Ms. ***** *****’s address she lists in her complaint, however we received mail
returns.
On
May 8, 2023, Ms. ***** ***** spoke with a representative and requested we send
her an email. Please note that on ******* ******* *********, LLC accounts, our
collection representatives are unable to correspond via email. Ms. ***** ***** requested validation of debt
and the representative failed to update the account with the request at that
time. The representative has been counseled and written disciplinary action
will be kept on file.
On
May 16, 2023, we do not reflect the representative refusing to send Ms. ***** ***** any letters via mail. Our representative asked Ms. ***** ***** to verify
a good address and she provided **** ******** *** ******* ** ****** This address
is different than the one Ms. ***** ***** provides in her complaint.

Missed a call from this business and the person who left a message doesn’t even speak English, couldn’t understand anything they said. Called back to find out what they wanted and the other employees I spoke with barely spoke English. Would not confirm or deny if they were a bill collector, telemarketer or whatever without me providing personal information over the phone.
