    I cashed a check in May that was from February (unsigned by me) that had been sitting in my car. It was cashed at a NC **** **** location with absolutely no problems.
    A few weeks later in June. I am being called for personal info and told that my check cashed in February was returned and is being immediately send to debt collectors and I have till the end of the month or it's coming out of a random account that doesn't belong to me. Neither my employer nor the **** **** the check was cashed at, has informed me on any discrepancies, before or after I found out and asked. This is where the phone call number lead me

    office for collections on June 03, 2025. Firstsource
    Advantage, LLC records indicate on June 06, 2025, Firstsource Advantage, LLC
    contacted you and informed you this was debt was a result of a returned check
    that was cashed at **** ****. Our records do not reflect the representative
    informed you that payment had to be made by the end of the month. You agreed to
    pay the account in full on June 30, 2025. On
    June 23, 2025, you contacted our office and requested to change the June 30th payment as you would prefer to pay in installments but decided to keep the
    payment as originally scheduled.On
    June 26, 2025, you called into our office and requested we remove the payment
    on file because you wanted to make your payment for the full balance on our
    website. The payment was removed, and an online payment of $562.05 was made.We
    have notified ******* Payment Solutions, LLC the account is paid in full. If
    you have any further concerns about this account, you may contact ******* Payment Solutions, LLC at ###-###-####.We

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. Although business claims to not have made multiple calls prior to this complaint (call log was provided as a reference when submitting), they did discontinue them after said complaint. I find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    are in receipt of the complaint referenced above relating to this consumer. Per
    our standard complaint process, a thorough investigation of the allegations was
    performed.  ******* Payment Solutions,
    LLC placed Mr. *****’s ** *********, LLC account with our office for
    collections on March 13, 2025.Firstsource
    Advantage reflects receiving a dispute from Mr. ***** on March 31, 2025. The
    account was updated at that time as a dispute with a request for validation of
    debt. Validation of debt information was sent to the address Mr. ***** provided
    in his complaint, and we did not receive a mail return. Collection activity on
    the account ceased from the date the dispute was raised until April 15, 2025.Please
    note that ******* uses ******* Payment Solutions for processing payments via
    eChecks (electronic check).  If payment
    is not successful, ******* Payment Solutions reimburses ***********.  That is the reason Mr. *****’s account would
    be reflected as current in *********** records. 
    It appears the representative at *********** was not familiar with this
    process.  Mr. ***** may confirm this
    information at ***********’s website of ****************************************************************.  Upon
    receipt of this complaint, Firstsource Advantage returned Mr. *****’s account
    to ******* Payment Solutions, LLC as a cease and desist. Please note,
    Firstsource Advantage, LLC, does not credit report and all credit reporting is
    handled directly by ******* Payment Solutions, LLC. If Mr. ***** has any
    questions regarding the account or its credit reporting, he may reach out
    directly to ******* Payment Solutions directly at ###-###-####.We
