    I had an awful experience so beware. My card was used fraudulently to start this account..O called in and reported..They were unable to close account because I was not the account holder. I discovered who opened the account and the account was closed. The day after the account was closed my card was charged again. When I called to complain I was told I would receive a refund. 30 minutes later my card was charged again. I called back was told I had to wait for an investigation then would receive a call back in 1-2 business days. Good luck at trying to cancel this service. 4 different stories from 4 different people.

    Hello Melanie, To sign up for our credit monitoring and identity theft services, members must provide personally identifiable information as well as answer security questions provided by the major credit bureaus. One of our Customer Care Center specialists spoke to you on Sept. 19, 2024, where you stated the account holder was someone you know who used your card without your knowledge and that you were satisfied with our assistance.

    This is a good service but I did not receive e-receipts for every charge. I have been paying $6.95 monthly for about 1 year since I have been at the address that this service was providing credit reports for. I initially signed up during my lease initiation. There should be a reminder to change address or verify yearly that you are still at the address on file.
    The rep that I spoke with did help me cancel the service without any run around.

    It is complicated to cancel services. Will not give refunds. they don't protect you from anything. My identity was taken and used to file taxes fraudulently. They can't report on that. waste of time. waste of money. when you call to cancel they will filibuster and interrupt you into confusion and frustration and ask several questions about whether or not you would like to receive this alert or that alert. If you say yes to any of that, they will not cancel and proceed to charge you monthly. Garbage service. Garbage product. Save your money.

We have a record of your call on July 2, 2024, where you spoke to a customer care representative and asked to keep your account active as well as asked for any available offers to share with your friends. We also have a record of your call on Aug. 8, 2024, and a supervisor’s return call to you on Aug. 8, 2024, and Aug. 9, 2024. Our team also reached out to you on Aug. 14, 2024, and Aug. 16, 2024, via phone and text as you did not have a voicemail set up.
