I had to cancel my card due to unreliable service. I was told Uber was a scam company, so my card was locked. Ever since, I haven’t been able to use it. After the fifth time trying to lift the restrictions and still being unable to make a purchase, I just called and canceled it.
They say they will send a text message to approve transactions, but don’t hold your breath. The messages never arrive, and it feels like they have no intention of letting you actually use your card. At this point it just seems like they want your information.

I can not make payments using the app-the app sends you in a never ending loop where you can not access the actual payment screen. When I have called I had have been placed on hold for 45 minutes to be hung up on and told my call can not be placed in the queue. I then miss payments and then get charged a ton of different fees. I'm over this company-its 2025 this company should be using better technology and have apps that work unless the goal is predatory and the purpose is to cause the customer to miss payments-if that's the goal keep up the good work.

Never get a credit card from Credit One Bank because once you pay them entire bill off before the due date, they act like they can't find you in their system even through you have them your Date of Birth and the last four of your SSN.

They took my payment then said it was returned. I have no returned payments in my bank account. They closed my account. And I can't speak with a human. Worst credit card company

Stay far away, seriously. Charges you a yearly fee before you even use the card and holds your funds. Customer service is not very concise and rude. It’s a shame credit karma even advertises this company, getting rid of both!

I had their AMEX card for a year and hardly used it. I feel this company uses such predatory tactics to make money from fees.
If you have credit card with them, be wary. This is what I had to go through and if you have an account with them, you'll probably have the same experience. They will send you a check for a lump some of money. DO NOT CASH IT IN! It isn't a gift. The check is a "Cash Advanced" slip and it has a lot of fine print on it. If you use the slip and deposit it in your bank, it's like using your card and you'll have to pay it back, PLUS they will charge you a fee for cashing it in. I chose to cancel the account, but you can't cancel the account on the app, you have to either call them or send a letter. I chose to call. When you try to call them, there won't be an option to talk to an agent. If you call them, keep pressing 0 and you'll get to a call center eventually. You can tell them to close the account there, but they'll try to offer you some credit to keep the account open probably.
This bank is so predatory, I'm not sure why it still exists.

This company is terrible! I was approved and then then I got my card and activated it, tried to use it and the transaction was denied. Apparently being at an address for over 10 years isn’t good enough so they needed me to verify this for them. A month later, they still haven’t let me use it because they need to review the documents. I don’t care how many people have to do this, it shouldn’t take this long to review documents. I still can’t use the card and now I have a ding on my credit. If I close it, I will have another ding. DONT ISE THEM. The customer service is terrible.

I've had nothing but trouble with credit One Bank ever since I started. I was told it was a good company to build credit with but... Nothing could be further from the truth. They canceled one of my cards last Christmas after 5 years of being a loyal customer never being late never missed a payment... I had over $2,500 available for Christmas and they canceled my card just two weeks before I was set to buy presents for the family. Then after 5 years of not being late or missing a payment they canceled both my auto pays did not alert me that the auto pays were canceled then reported me to the credit bureau as delinquent. I contacted the company and let him know they made an error but they told me that they will not Even look into the bank error. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. Not only is their customer service based in India but none of their supervisors are English speaking. The fees and rates are outrageous and if you do miss a payment which I just found out I was charged three times what my minimum payment was..... Disgraceful
