It's a shark card for sure. I wish I had never got it. The fees they throw at you left and right make it almost impossible to get ahead. Make a payment and it's always less than what you deposit. Takes em forever to post it. Their fees set me at overdrawn by $8 so made a payment and now I'm $9 overdrawn what the hay?? BS.. I'm super angry as I've always made payments on time and managed my balances fairly decent. Sticker shock major....I put the card away and now will just pay it down. Once I can get it paid I'm closing it. It's not worth the heart attacks you go through. If you're thinking about getting this card..RUN..and don't look back. There are better options build up your credit a bit more and go for those. I wish places like this would be shut down.. basically crooks taking money that people are having a hard enough time getting. Smh. Bad business...

Sadly I lost my job and became a bit behind on my payments with Credit One. I fully understand that. However, to be called over 40 times a day from so many different numbers is very extreme. Even on Sunday. No day is sacred. Then when you answer the phone it's someone who barely speaks English threatening and demanding sensitive information on the phone. I've never dealt with such horrible collection policies in my life. I will be just closing all of my accounts with Credit One. I will find a bank that understands life happens, calls a few times to remind me to pay not harass and threaten me for payments. I have no idea how they've made it to A+ on BBB. This is ridiculous!

Try to avoid getting a credit card thru Credit One. They will charge you an annual fee even when you dont use the card. They are sneaky. They dont alert you to the charge until after the 30 days and then charge you a late payment fee. They are shady..

Poor credit card overage refund policy.
My credit card was refunded a charge back, which made the card have an overage. By the policy in place, any refund of overage will take 30 days to be mailed. Technically speaking, the card company holds the funds intrest free for thirty days, which should be challenged, the overage refund should be available asap separate from any cash advance, it shouldn't be a cash advance, it's a refund of an overage payment.
      This procedure should be challenged.

I opened an account but couldn't get them the exact verithey wanted. They had already attached it to my credit and charged the $75 annual fee. After arguing with them many times I told them to close the account. They said the would and the balance would be reserved. It shows closed on my credit but with a $105 balance. I told them I am not paying that. They said I didn't have to it would cycle off. But it didn't, now my credit score dropped 30 plus points because of them. I have called several times and am currently on hold waiting for a supervisor to get this immediately resolved, which I doubt will happen. I am very upset with this company and don't recommend it to anyone. I hope I can get my credit fixed. Where they couldn't identify me like they wanted it never should have touched my credit but it did.

I'm currently in Colombia and am being blocked from logging in
to my Credit One Bank credit card account and even from Credit One web pages. Any of their web pages. This includes from both my laptop and my iPhone, the latter of which has facial ID, and I certainly can't use the card. I didn't know I was not allowed to leave the country under the terms pf this credit card, or that an American Express card was so limited. In the future I'll confine myself to the States whenever I anticipate needing a credit card. Such a pity they've not heard of two-step verification.
I also emailing them, but the only email address I found for them does not function - all modern companies have eliminated email contact because, you know, you all just can't be bothered with actual customers or pay somebody outside of India anything other than slave wages. Rather, give us a call, and never you mind those roaming charges if we keep you on hold for three days.
