1 starTerrible, they sent the salesperson and he explained to me the entire process that was followed to place the panels. They made me replace the roof with a new one. Then they charge higher monthly fee than the one we had agreed upon. More inspections than he actually told me. In short, all the information he gave me was totally false. I called them many times and they don't answer and they don't respond.Momentum Solar

1 starWhy is this company calling me 6 to 10 times a day between the hours of 7 AM and 10 PM. Its always the same *************** calling me. *** blocked 13 numbers now on my phone and yet I keep receiving calls after I told him I didnt wanna hear from the company. I dont even know how the h*** they got me information because I never signed up for solar panels.Momentum Solar

1 starHad them give us a quote at our home for solar. The salesman was very pleasant, overstayed his welcome by about 20 minutes. We of course didnt sign anything that day. In the span of 3 weeks I have received 56 phone calls from Momentum. Today they disguised their number as a health care company. If you contact them, be ready for a relentless onslaught of phone calls.Momentum Solar

5 starsVery satisfied after 14 months of owning the system. Momentum was very helpful in roof renewal, they handled all the details, kept me updated at each stage. Very smooth overall. Just now read several negative reviews and feel perplexed. My experience was good, am I missing something?Momentum Solar

1 starAppointment was scheduled at 6 at 640 rep called and said they wouldnt be there. Rearranged my evening to accommodate them. Not inclined to do business with them when customers time is not respected.Momentum Solar

1 starWorst high Pressured salesman i've ever seen.Told me how I was gonna save all kinds of money on a hundred and twelve dollar a month electric bill. He then Actually said it was a twenty five year commitment and when I said i'm sixty seven I don't think I'll live twenty five years, he said and I quote Even better, you can leave it to somebody else when you die At that point I said goodbye get off my property, And I was gonna report them. They took off very quickly. Doors weren't even closed numbers on the back of the vehicle, which is supposed to be local. Will a florida plate did not workMomentum Solar

1 starAfter agreeing to a pre-contract, I decided to cancel it the same day I went through all the proper procedures and got confirmation from IGS and confirmation from momentum solar but one employee keeps on harassing me. 1 starSo, i was wondering why we havent heard from the installers or a representative of the company, they were suppose to be there on May 1st, Thursday 2024. It is now Monday the 6th. Our sales rep reached out to me on the morning of may 4th ,Saturday, letting me know that the company locked all of his computer accts and passwords and laid him off for no real reason other than they are leaving the state.He had just made 2 sales in the last 2 weeks. He said he wouldnt be paid his commission either.Left in the dark, no call no show for scheduled installation, no one has returned my husbands calls ,no emails ,nothing. The sales rep was awesome and spent 4 hours clarifying all of my questions and concerns. He even had dinner with us. To be honest he is why i purchased the panels. My concern now is that a company would chop off its sales team and not pay them. What does that say about trusting them in the first place. Its very frustrating as a consumer to be treated this way. 1 star******** I originally contracted with momentum solar for both roof and solar panels. The original cost for both was $50,000 which I financed from the company as well. I was approved for $100, 000 and I asked the prep, why I was approved for so much when I only needed $50,000. After 2 years of waiting and going back and forth with momentum about my project start date. They started the roof installation in April 2024. On the last day of the roof installation, I was sent an additional invoice of $11900 and change for Plywood used. As per the senior project manager ***********************************, it is in the contract. I was rushed to sign the contract by the initial Rep, who also neglected to elaborate on before asking me to initial the contract. I was rushed through the signing of the contract without proper explanation. After the roof installation and this new additional bill of $11,900. I was told by **************** II, momentum can factor the additional $11,900 into the loan of $100, 000 and I would also receive a larger tax credit with the new amount. Suddenly it all made sense to me why I was approved for twice the amount needed for the solar panels and roof. I was also told by ****************, if I refused to pay the new bill, my case would be sent to legals and there would be a potential lien against my house, and I do not want that. My over all experience with momentum is just terrible.Momentum Solar

1 starI can't believe they still have an A+ rating. If you are thinking of solar, please do your homework. Momentum is the worst in customer service and most dysfunctional **mpany I have ever dealt with. We had panels installed in 2020 and the sales rep dismissed my **ncerns regarding the number of panels I wanted and we were sold a certain amount based on our power bills. As I expected, he was wrong and we have been paying an unreasonable amount to our power **. It took over 3 years to finally get the additional panels, because the 5 appointments we had scheduled resulted in no shows and an email to the **mpany president went unanswered. We were finally able to get some service, because the rep didn't need to **me to our house. After several months of paperwork, we finally had more panels installed in Jan '24. After a **uple more months of calls regarding why they weren't on and producing power, only to be told that they were waiting for the final inspection before they can be turned on, I called the inspection office. To my astonishment, I was informed that the permit request had just recently been submitted and approved the day before I called, so you guessed it, the panels were installed without a permit. The inspection has been done and cleared, because of my effort, but now I am being told that they won't turn them on until we submit our insurance declaration and a questionnaire regarding **verage. We are now **nsidered a 2 tier system and the power ** requires a certain amount of **verage. This **uld have been avoided if we had been allowed to buy the panels we wanted back in 2020. I addressed my **ncerns with the rep before they were added and was given information that led me to believe it wasn't going to be a problem. If this ends up **sting me more in insurance **sts, I am going to have to take some kind of legal action. Which will just take more time and effort with the **mpany than I want to put forth. This is absolutely absurd and I'm so disappointed.Momentum Solar
