      I have an EZ Pass that is in good standings. My daughter purchased a new vehicle. I didn't know I could add the car without permanent plates. We used the transponder from her old car. I got tons of violations. I spoke to a supervisor. She removed the old car, added the new car and removed the fees. The permanent plates came. My daughter didn't realize she had to add the plates because the car was added. I now have over $800 in violations. I spoke to a supervisor (very nice). She said she can waive 70% of the fees and I would be responsible for around $270. I don't think it's fair that I have to pay that amount because I have auto pay and the payment method is in good standing. I understand I have to pay the tolls but the violation fee absurd.       I think there should be a better way to resolve the toll system. You are unable to get the call centre no matter what time you call. You can never get a live person. The admin fees are too high for families who are just trying to get by. I dont see why you need a ** ez pass and ** ez pass .. why cant they take it form the ** ez pass. This is unfair and if this is the case bring back toll booths!

      The company is withholding ($40.20) from a closed account. Multiple email tickets have been submitted about the issue, only to be closed without explanation. The call center number available online does not seem to have anyone answering as I have been on hold over 10 times over an hour each different days and times. It has been going on for over 2 months since the account was closed with no feedback from this company. An absurd amount of reviews online reveal that other customers have the same issues with the customer ********************** team at Ez-Pass, **.

      I have received 3 violation notices from ** EZ-Pass in a two week period. They are saying that I did not pay the 75 cent tolls ayt exit 109North (********). The tolls are $0.75 and they have charged me a $50 violation per toll. $225!!! that is ridiculous and is borderline criminal. I did pay the tolls even though. They say I did not. The toll machine at ******** does not always register the coins being thrown in. I spoke to the *********** Authority. NOt much help here as they say I have violations from 2015 that I did not even know about totaling like$500 or more dollars. All from ******** North 109. I am disputing this..Can you file a complaint against them?This is criminal!! Whover heard of $50 violation for a 50 or 75 cent toll?How can I get help here?Thank you!

      Please help me to regain all that I have lost. I have been a victim of a fraud action involving NJ EZ PASS. I have been trying to resolve this issue on my own, but I have not received any returned calls from a supervisor or their legal team which I have requested to talk to. I recently found out that I have been paying on a license plate of a vehicle that I do not own. I stated to the representative that I trusted EZ pass to protect my account, my identity and personal information and feel violated that they allowed this to happen. I do not own the 2011 ********** that I was paying these tolls for, and the plate number of this car was automatically linked to my account by EZ pass. I am at a significant loss and feel sick that I trusted EZ pass to always bill me correctly that what I put on my account was all that was on my account and never would think anything like this could happen. I have contacted the police and filed a police report to this fraud activity and will keep fighting for my loss. I feel EZ pass is responsible to rectify this error and refund my money. I need your help please. I feel violated, not heard and a victim. MY NJ EZ PASS ACCOUNT NUMBER IS ************* Thank you.

      We closed out account in 2016 and have been receiving bills in the mail that we paid only because there is NO WAY TO GET A HOLD OF ANYONE AT EZ PASS. I called several time with an average wait time of *****+ minutes on hold. The person was never helpful and told us our account was closed yet was unable to tell us why we were still being charged! This is incredibly alarming that a business can be such a s*** show and are able to impact people's credit. This "business" needs to be shut down.

      I got a letter 3 days ago from a law office saying that I have to pay $279.30 because of violations pending. Since this year started they have withdraw more than $1,000. 00 from my account. After reading the letter I log in into my account and and own $1,600.00 in violations and my account had a balance of $58.00. I thought something must be wrong and I called right away. After waiting 40 minutes I found out that my account was negative for a few days at the beginning of the year and that's why I have all those violations. I never got a notification because they were sending them to my old address. I am trying to explain this to the person who answer the phone and the only answer that I got is that they offered a payment plan. WE have to do something because this is ridiculous they are taking our money like money grows on trees. I like having EZPASS but is this continues I am going to cancel my accounts.

      On April 1, 2023 the **** delivered 4 EZPass violations to me from the *********** at my house in ******, **. 4 in 1 envelope.After investigating, concluded that EZpass is matching a white passenger car with plate ***** with my **** yellow skidoo snowmobile plate number *****.We sent all 4 violations in the provided envelope back along with the ** snowmobile registration that expired 3/31/2021.On April 8, 2023 I again received 4 violations in 1 envelope. I won't be sending any more of these back and paying for stamps, as they not only have issues matching state and plate number, as they don't include vehicle type or plate type; they also have procedural issues with entering / processing returned violations. They are a customer no ********************** operation.April 11, 2023, after receiving 1 additional violation, I wasted an hour and a half listening to bad EZPass music on hold. The lady who answered said their system didn't show they had received what we sent. I asked her how many total violations did her system show? Currently there are 21, she said.Both my and my husband's names are on the snowmobile registration; but I, a female senior citizen, was targeted and threatened in numerous ways, numerous times by EZPass. I gave ** & Federal **** notice that the data being reported by ** is being misused - it is being used by EZpass for fraud and extortion purposes. EZPass is aware of the many problems it has, but it refuses to fix them. EZPass is committing fraud and extortion thru ****.They are maliciously operating against me with impunity. If they continue to misuse my ** snowmobile data and carry thru with any of their threats, I will pursue legal options. Other desired outcomes: EZPass be stripped of causing anyone harm; their $50 admin fee per violation be eliminated; and of course, fix there defects - charge them daily penalty fees for not fixing.

      I travel from ************ to New Jersey at least 5 days a week for work. I have a ** EZ-Pass account that is tied to my credit card and charges me directly as needed. In early March, my wallet went missing. I had to cancel all of my credit/debit cards and had no cash on hand. During this time, I had to continue commuting to work daily while waiting for new cards to be delivered. Over the 5 days that I was without any cash or credit/debit cards, I received 10 violations. In total, the tolls for those 10 violations came out to less than $30 but I was charged $375 in fees. I attempted to dispute the fees and NJ EZ Pass waived the missed tolls but is continuing to charge me $375 for the fees. I called NJ EZ Pass and spoke to a supervisor on 4/12/23 who stated that they are unwilling to waive fees once a user has 12 violations. I have paid all previous tolls and violations. I am happy to pay the $30 in missed tolls but do not feel it is appropriate to charge $375 in violation fees for 5 days of commuting, especially considering the circumstances of my violations.

      On December 29th, 2022, I drove up to *** from DC and back to DC on January 2nd, 2023. A few weeks later, I received a toll violation for every toll I drove through. As a VA EZ Pass holder, I informed them of this issue, and they issued me a new transponder, as mine was over ten years old. They also helped me file appeals for the violations. All other states (MD, DE, **) either forgave the penalties or deducted the toll amount from my account. ** forgave one and added penalties to the other 3. The tolls were $14.** for all three tolls. The *********** decided to round up to $50 for each toll. I tried for almost two months to call and get through to speak to someone, often on hold for more than 2 hours. I finally mailed the checks with statements for each violation directed on their website. I provided tracking information as well as proof that the checks were sent. Today I received a collections notice for $150. Their process is broken, and this scheme to deliberately add on unnecessary fees AND now destroy people's credit for pennies in tolls is unjust.
