    Im working with AARP to have this company removed as a booking option through their partnership with Expedia. I dont know if Ill be successful but this company should not be in business. When we arrived to pick up our reserved vehicle at there ***************** Queens location, there were 2 families ahead of ** that said they had been waiting over an hour and that the staff had disappeared. Indeed there was no one at the counter when we arrived. Approximately 10 other families with reservations arrived after us as we all waited. An hour plus later (2 hours plus for the people before us), the staff finally came out and announced that they were out of vehicles and would only honor prepaid reservations. We were all livid. They closed at midnight and it was around 11:50pm. Nobody in line had a prepaid reservation and we all waited until midnight to see if anyone else was going to arrive with a prepaid reservation. Nobody else arrived. And still no vehicles were provided. In short, they were not holding vehicles for prepaid reservations but rather this was just something they told everyone. When I called the corporate office the next day to complain they told me that their information indicated I was late for my reservation and thats why I was denied a vehicle. I was floored. This is when I sincerely felt this company should not be in business. I was not late for my reservation and never even got to speak with anyone on-site because of the announcement that they didnt have any vehicles. Its not like we were an isolated case They told this to us and about 12 other families. No family should face this kind of risk that Ive since learned is common practice for this company. Im sure this is not the type of company that AARP nor Expedia would want their customers to ever experience through a booking from their site.

    Do not rent car from this company ACE Rent Car or Drivo.com located in ******, **. Very frustrated. Ordered the rent two weeks in advance. Filled out all required documents about the home address, car insurance, confirmations few times ... after the order online THEN I got a call to cancel my confirmation of rental van on the same day, only before 6 hours of the picking time. I was lucky to have enough time at the airport to order an another van.Rating of company 1 star and I will stay away of this company for my whole life.

    My name is ********************** I had a terrible experience with this company. Despite renting from them for months, I encountered several issues. When I requested a larger car for my trip, they understood I was traveling due to luggage. However, I also asked for a EZ Pass, resulting in so they were fully aware I was traveling. I received a text notifying me of an extra $50 fee per day for driving to **, forcing me to cut my trip short and spend additional money to return next day. Upon contacting next day confirming Im back, they reduced the fee to $25 per day, but it was still charged when I extended the rental. The cars were dirty, damaged, and hazardousI found a prune seed that nearly choked my son. Rates increased after payment, with hidden fees not disclosed initially. Their customer service was unhelpful and repetitive. I was charged $650 on top of the rental cost, luckily I have evidence of the poor conditions. It's disappointing when other companies offer new cars and better service.

    Never rent from this company!!High Milage Cars with damage Bait and Switch Low Rate at time of rental then double at return.. Fuel offer at **** gal at return then 50 dollar surcharge

    This company is runned by foreign scammers who lack professionalism and customer service. I made a reservation for $ ****** , to later be charged $ ******** for Geofence violation,. Written agreement does not say anything about geofence restriction rules. So the charge you whatever they want. in my case , i paid 3x times what i originally reserved. i would of chosen a nationwide car rental and would of paid half of what they charged me. Avoid DRIVO Car Rental, they have nothing to do with FOX or ACE. They lack customer support and are arbitrary with your credit card charges. they don't deserve a single star.

    I went to pick up the car this past weekend. The agent made a mistake and gave me a full-sized car and I thought I had made a mistake when I reserved the car on Priceline. I later found the confirmation email saying I indeed had booked the *** and I later brought this up when I returned the car and asked for a partial refund. The agent apologized for the mistake his colleague had made and made a VERBAL promise that the details regarding a partial refund'd be sent to me via email. Of course I never received any refunds. Steer clear from them.

    If no stars was an option that would be my rating. This is the worst company to rent from on top of having bad and misinforming customer service. We made a reservation on ACE for $212 total were charged nearly $500 plus the $200 credit deposit, they could not explain why the price increased when I contacted the customer service number to speak to someone, they told me to call the location. The car did not have a full tank of gas there were cracks, dents, and missing or broken internal pieces, including a missing hub cap. Nonchalant, Rude, and Unprofessional, and refused to give me a full sized car, its scary because theyve got your card info authorized and force you to get full coverage seems like a scam, very skeptical. BEWARE, they will draw you in with good pricing as ACE but confirm as Drivo the day before your reservation AND not tell you about shuttle information, definitely NOT worth the headache.

    The worst company to rent from on top of having the worst customer service. We were charged for something they had no evidence of and when I called the customer service number to speak to someone, the supervisor -**, hung up on me instead of helping me. When we returned the car and tried to talk about the issue the employee started yelling at us saying "we should be glad he isn't going to charge us more". Rude, and unprofessional, and will charge you for anything and you don't have a say because they are the ones holding your card. BEWARE, they will get you good pricing but after all the new additions to contracts and charges, not even worth the headache.

    Dont ever rent from this company they are the worst !!!. They are scammers and everytime you ask for a manager all they get on the line is the same man . He is extremely rude and has no customer service skills. I rented through priceline they charged me $20 a day , When I arrived to the location the lady said i will give you a upgrade for $8.00 more a day. But in the end we paid $20.00 a day for the original vehicle and then $28.00 for the upgrade . Also we wre told when we got there that the the vehicle is not unlimited miles that we have to pay $10.00 a day extra in the end when we handed the vehicle in we were charged $20.00 a day when i asked the manager what is this he said $10.00 for the miles and $10.00 surcharges daily for the miles . Plus all the other charges they added on. I will take thsi to consumer affairs as a comppany owner myself I dont go around lying or scamming my customers. I rented from the JFK location
