1 starDO NOT BOTHER TO USE THIS SERVICE.. I would leave zero stars if I could. We had a leak in our main supply line. Put it a service request. After several days of hearing nothing I called. The provider they tried to contract to do the repair refused the claim, then it was reassigned. We went through this with 4 different providers, all refused, no contact from AWR with updates etc. Only reassigned when I called for updates. I finally got a call that they were unable to find anyone to do the repair and were sending me paperwork I could turn in to be reimbursed after I found someone and repair was made. They would pay $500 and any more than that needed to be preauthorized. I emailed for authorization, never heard a word. I contacted the first contractor because they were local. They refused the claim due to being owed 10K from AWR. They came out and did the repair and I paid them out of my pocket. I could not turn in the claim for the whole amount because that required before, during, leaking line, and after repair images. I was at work and was not going to delay the repair as it had bee going on for 2 months. So I turned in the claim for the $500 that it said I could be paid for using an out of network provider. Now they tell me they cannot pay me because I didn't turn in proof of payment. I have submitted images of the cancelled check. Lets see if they ever give me the $500. Not holding my breath. Total bill was $2667. Will not renew once plan expires. I would cancel if I thought I'd get any of my money back. I paid for the whole year.

1 starI have had the water/sewer line protection program for years. The program increased yearly by a few dollars. This year they raised the cost by over 10 dollars to ***** per month which is beyond ridiculous. I called and ******* kept telling me that a system error that they had over increased my cost. The website indicates the program at *****. This is noted to be a new customer cost. Why c*** all over your current customers who have paid into a program for years? Refused to let me talk to someone else. Noted he could not do under ***** per month and I would have to be without protection for 10 years to get the new customer rate. Looking for new options as it seems being a new customer is more valuable.American Water Resources, LLC

1 starAmerican Water Resources (AWR) is a part of the typical municipal corruption. Theyve teamed up with a written endorsement from certain officials with the *************** water department to provide residential water line and sewer line insurance to homeowners for a price. They work with one company in the *************** to provide the services needed, ******** and Sons LLC, which isnt actually a plumbing company, or even a brick-and-mortar company at all. This company is a team of lawyers that have set up a sham business with legal filings, them as agents of the company getting paid, sham addresses that turn out to be private residences and such, and a phone service. An insured resident with a water line problem calls AWR. AWR calls the sham company, ******** and Sons LLC and ******** and Sons LLC contracts the work to actual plumbers that theyve lined up to do some work, such as snaking out drains but anything with serious cost gets thrown back on the homeowner with a multitude of situations and circumstances in the terms and conditions of the contract in small print that are not covered. AWR, the sham company, and **** officials are in bed together pocketing insurance premiums, submitting inflated bills with kickbacks attached, and leaving *************** residents all wet.American Water Resources, LLC

1 starBeware they take multiple payments and raise the rates. This company has charged my account 2 to 3 times a month and tried to justify it by saying that it's because it's a month in advance, the numbers don't lie, charge me again and you will be talking to the news room and my attorney, your nothen but a scamAmerican Water Resources, LLC

1 starI've had the sewer line plan for five years and I just made my first call today for service. First call went from music to silence to hang up after 10 minutes. Second call to a different number went to silence them hang up after 5 minutes. I then tried the online chat and was told that I'm not covered because the outside pipes are backing up because I'm using water fixtures inside the house and I don't have the indoor plan. How else will my sewer pipes back up unless I'm using them?American Water Resources, LLC

1 starThis company seems to be a big scam. I canceled my protection plan and still they charged me for another month. I called the customer service and they agreed they owed me a refund, and they would send me a check. Nothing arrived and a month later I again called the customer service. Same story, but again no check. It has been six months that I have been trying to get my money back. This company is a big scam.American Water Resources, LLC

1 starI would NOT recommend AWS, LLC to anyone. When you put a claim in they want $50 up front before they will take your claim. The agents do not speak good English, they are hard to understand. I am so glad L canceled my plan. They are useless. ******************American Water Resources, LLC

1 starI called on 2/21/2023 for an issue with my plumbing. I set up a claim for my supply line issue. While finalizing that claim, I also mentioned that I had an issue with the drain. The rep told me that since I had completed the previous claim for the supply issue when the plumber comes, I should just show them the drainage issue and they will fix it. When the plumber arrived he stated that he would not be able to work on the drainage issue because it was not included in the claim. This wasted my time and I was unable to utilize my kitchen sink and I have a small child in the house. cAmerican Water Resources, LLC

1 starI have been unable to reach anyone that can explain how my rate doubled for this plan. I get put on hold then after 20 min. the line goes dead. I requested supervisor and am told there is no supervisor avail. If i was a new customer I would be paying half the price. BEWARE!!!American Water Resources, LLC
