1 starIve now called 4 times. My bill went from $7.99 a month to $71.99 a month. 4 phone calls to these scammers and twice promised to remove the erroneous charges. That they knew extra charges were sent out in the March bill. They said they would remove it and I would see it on my next bill. They said I would get an email confirming that. ***** the first person and ***** the second person. The April bill it is still there with now being a past due amount for AWR $169.86. I called again yesterday and asked for confirmation numbers and I got 2. Was good this would be credited to my water bill. It hasnt. I am filing several complaints with the *** and Bureau of consumer services. 4 separate complaints. I see on my completed forms that there will be a hearing regarding this scam. 1 starJust talked with the most useless customer service agent. Could not answered a single question. Since I am seasonal, I wanted to know what months were used to calculate my sewer service charge... Did not know. She advised me I was getting a rate increase but did not know when it would start. 4 starsAn update to my review of 3/14. After a long drawn out process I was reimbursed. They also reimbursed me for the entire claim amount which shocked me. I feel like their process for claims and reimbursement is not the best, but it did work out well for me in the end. It just took much longer to get my leak repaired than I would have liked. I am appreciative that they did follow through and reimburse us the cost of the repair. All I can say is keep calling when you have a claim and issues.American Water Resources, LLC

1 starWe have had AWR service for 9 yrs. We currently have a clogged main sewer line impacting our entire home and family. We have been unable to use any water facilities (toilets, showers, laundry, etc) for 5 days, and they are saying it will take 5 more days to review the repair proposal. This is the 3rd time they have been called to clear our sewer line of a clog in the past 9 months. This is an old house, and the current clog cannot be opened and now it is a major problem. If they had fixed the problem with a prior claim (other than just clearing the clog) our family would not have several days without being able to use water in our home. 1 starI have canceled my account on a previous property and was continuing to be charged for coverage on it for several months. I texted about receiving a refund and the rep said to call. I called and the rep, after trying to sell me coverage on my new property before trying to solve my refund issue, said to email. I emailed THREE times and no one is responding. 1 starI have repeatedly tried to get the protection plan removed from my parents' home. They are both deceased and someone else lives in that house now. I've emailed multiple times and not once has anyone responded. I spent 30 minutes doing the online chat on 2/17, only to be told she couldn't help me. I was told to call, which I did right after the chat. I spent another 20 to 30 minutes on that phone call and was told it would be taken care of. I emailed the death certificates that day and followed up yet again on 3/6--no reply, per usual. Lo and behold, the $8.99 got auto-deducted from the bank account again. I am beyond livid at this point. It should not be this difficult to get someone to stop taking your money! The bank account from which these payments are auto-deducted is in my name and has been since my father passed. What little money is left in it is for settling the estate, not pay for a protection plan on a property I don't live in. This is beyond ridiculous!American Water Resources, LLC

1 starMy furnace went out overnight on 2/12/23. I phoned the number for service and I was connected to a man that had a very heavy accent and was difficult to understand. After spending 38 minutes in a house where the temperature went down to 42 degrees, and answering numerous questions, the rep told me that they didn't have a contractor in my area to do the repair and that I would have to obtain my own contractor. I wasted 38 minutes on the phone when I could have been contacting my local contractor to get the furnace back on sooner. On 2/14/23, I was contacted by a woman that stated I needed to submit a form with my paperwork from the contractor that made the repair. The $50.00 deductible was taken out of my checking account on 2/14/23. On March 1st, I contacted American Water Resources, because I hadn't received the necessary form to submit with the paperwork. I was told I didn't need a form and just submit the paperwork from the contractor.They gave me an address in *****, ** to mail the paperwork from the contractor. The *********** needed to forward the correspondence several times, and finally delivered it last Thurs, 3/9/23, and I'm still waiting to be reimbursed the $564.96. I wish I could have given them 0 stars for the way this has been handled by American Water Resources.I called last weekend with this complaint and stated I wanted someone from **************** to contact me. As of this date (3/16/23), no one has contacted me concerning this complaint.In all fairness, I contacted American Water Resources for a repair on my Air Conditioner Condenser about 5 or 6 years ago. They found a contractor, and the repair was completed within 24 hours. I didn't have to pay a deductible. I'm wondering if **************** is no longer a priority today, as it seemed to be 5 or 6 years ago.American Water Resources, LLC
