ClickPay, whenever possible, will not offer a fee free payment option. They will say payers can avoid this through mailing a check, using their bank's bill pay feature, but what they're REALLY saying is that your payer's only FREE option for payment is not to user their services at all. Basically, the "convenience" they offer for online bill payment is actually still a headache for any of your price sensitive payers. For this reason, I recommend avoiding them as vendor. You will need to field many complaints and deal with payment headaches as your customers try to avoid their fees. There are many alternative 3rd party payment processors that offer a free option, which you will always need to offer if you want to avoid 90% of your payment processing headaches.AVOID AVOID AVOID

ClickPay/REMOVEDis a third-party payment processor that processes payments for property management companies. Within the ClickPay portal, residents may choose from several payment methods. Depending on the payment method selected, a convenience fee may apply. These fees are determined in accordance with payment card brand rules, which ClickPay is required to follow. We understand and we appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns. While convenience fees are standard across many payment processors, we want to emphasize that they are always disclosed in advance of completing a transaction, allowing residents to decide whether to proceed or select an alternative payment method if one is available.

After our shady new property management company switched to AppFolio and click pay, myself and many residents have had many issues with clickpay not paying full or partial amounts at random. Despite setting up "pay full amount" twice, it refuses to pay a random $14 and occasionally just doesn't pay any of the assessment at all.

ClickPay/REMOVEDis a third-party payment processor that facilitates payments on behalf of property management companies. Within the ClickPay portal, residents can configure a payment schedule based on the payment date and amount they prefer. After reviewing the account, we confirmed that a payment schedule was set up to automatically pay the full balance due on the 2nd of each month. In this situation, the additional $14 charge was posted to the account after the scheduled payment had already processed. As a result, the $14 remained outstanding until it was captured in the next scheduled payment cycle on the following 2nd of the month. We are happy to review the timing of the transactions in more detail and assist with updating payment settings to ensure everything processes as expected going forward. Please feel free to contact our support team for further assistance at REMOVED

Its freaking sorry when companies charge you a fee for paying a bill with a card, and then a separate fee for being a REMOVEDcard, and then another separate fee for it being a REMOVEDdebit card.

Depending on the payment method selected, a convenience fee may apply. These fees are determined in accordance with payment card brand rules, which ClickPay is required to follow. This is the worst account management system ever. $3 to process a payment???? So now I send my payments via snail mail, and a few times due to maybe delivery delays, or maybe other reasons on their end, I have been charged late fees. It's at like 20% now. I should not have to pay for them to process a payment, especially that much. It's a cost of doing business. I would just put it on auto payment and forget about it, but now I have to remember to put the payment in the mail every month. Super inconvenient. Infuriates me.

Clickpay/Realpage is a third-party payment processor that processes payments for property management companies. Residents that make a one time echeck payment in the Clickpay portal will be assessed a convenience fee per transaction. There is a popup box about the fee change that notify the homeowners when logging in to the REMOVEDportal. Additionally there is a fee chart in the "pay now" screen of the portal that discloses the fees for different payment methods. To avoid the fee the complainant can opt to pay by physical check, online bill payment service through their bank, or schedule autopay via ACH/echeck payments in their REMOVEDportal.

This company NEEDS to go out of business. First off, they're completely useless with customer service. Their system is near fraudulent when it comes to payments and fees.I recently got double-charged because autopay didn't go through. I submitted a manual request and I ended up getting DOUBLE CHARGED AND MY ENTIRE CHECKING WAS WIPED. I had other payments the following REMOVEDday for my car payment and other bills, and they both just reflected today as in no more pending and they can't do anything about it even though IT SHOULDN'T HAVE DOUBLE CHARGED ME IN THE FIRST PLACE OR DETECTED IT WAS AN ACCIDENTAL DOUBLE PAYMENT. I wish my property management had their own portal or ANYTHING because this 3rd party payment system IS AWFUL AND THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE LEGALLY

Clickpay/Realpage is a third-party payment processor that processes payments for property management companies. ClickPay complies with all applicable payment REMOVEDthis case, the complainant had scheduled automatic recurring payments to be processed on the 1st of each month. On November 1, 2025, the scheduled payment was processed as expected.Later that same day, the complainant initiated a manual one-time payment. When the system detects a potential duplicate payment, it prompts the user to confirm by entering their initials. The complainant entered their initials on the one-time payment screen, thereby authorizing the second payment. The automatic payment schedule will continue to process on the 1st of each month unless the complainant chooses to cancel or modify it.

The fee associated with REMOVEDcard payments are fixed and flat based on the average rent amount set by the property management company, instead of the transaction amount. Other card types and ACH payments have a different fee structure. There is a fee chart provided in the Clickpay portal that discloses the fees associated with different payment methods.

Clickpay is taking money out of my account without authorization. They are double charging, double the amount. Rent is 2500, They bill 4500 twice in one month. They did the same back in March. This is crazy. My management company is refunding the money but how can I be sure this doesn't keep happening.

Clickpay/Realpage is a third-party payment processor that processes payments for property management companies. The complainant created an automated payment schedule to initiate a monthly payment. The complainant also initiated one time payments while the auto payment schedule was active. Therefore the auto payment and one time payment resulted in two payments. The complainant can reach out to Clickpay Support if assistance is needed with the auto payment schedule.

Clickpay/Realpage is a third-party payment processor that processes payments for property management companies. Clickpay Customer Support advised the complainant to work with the property manager regarding the request to make a split payment, since the payment portal was configured to accept payments in full. We encourage the complainant to work with their property manager for alternative payment arrangements.
