I sold card cash a gift card and for some weird reason they needed to charge me card in order to pay me as part of the verification which is weird. And I've yet to receive my payment even though it was said to be instant idk they seem like a fraudulent company hopefully I do get my money and if they try and say the digital gift card was not active or didn't have money it's a lie I literally just got it off pay pal gifts and sold it almost instantly.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I received the email for the payment yesterday 7/26/23. There was no email sent with a payment prior to this. I checked spam and trash. I never received a response to my support ticket inquiring about the missing payment either. I received the payment now, I just want this recorded so this can be looked into on your companies end.

Order #******* Placed April 28, 2023 I purchased a $93.50 gift card and used approximately $40 of the balance. During the 45 day period there were no issues with the card. Shortly after the ***************************************************************** store and confirmed through customer service that the gift card had a balance of $0 and was used by someone other than me. I would like a refund no less than $60 since that is the minimum I know I lost out on. If this is not resolved I will never use cardcash again.Business Response

Last May 2023, Im thinking about May 22nd, I had four restaurant gift cards that I wanted to sell because I had recently been a victim of a purse snatching which included my rent money for that month and I was being threatened to be evicted which would result in my becoming homeless. I was desperate because I am both disabled and elderly so Im sure I would not do well homeless. Anyway I googled how to get funds for my restaurant gift cards and found cardcash.com which seemed reputable so I created an account with ******************** online as required and gave them the requested information regarding the names of the restaurants that the gift cards were for and the amounts of each gift card. I had a $100 gift card for the restaurant Whiskey Row, a $50 gift card for Olive ******* a $25 gift card for Zoes Kitchen here in ******* and a $25 gift card for ******************** here in *******. I also submitted my PayPal account information requested for a onetime $1 refundable fee which PayPal had problems with. I was told that the process was the best and swiftest of all however after two to three days of no payment for my gift cards I checked my gift cards and found that they had no money anymore yet I hadnt been paid. So I called cardcash.com and got the runaround for hours until finally a man with an accent told me that I didnt have an account and that they didnt have my gift cards or the funds at all. I couldnt get any more information and he refused to give his name. I eventually called again and again only to get the same response. My money, $200, disappeared from my gift cards in which cardcash.com was the only place I gave the information too. And the money was out of my cards immediately after I gave cardcash.com the requested information. They denied but theres nobody else that could have.Business Response

I sold two gift cards to this company and on their website it says that it will provide payment within 24 to 48 hours. After 3 days I called customer service and they told me there was an error message and so I waited a couple more days and called back and this time they said there was a another problem that they sent in for the payment and I would have it by the end of that day and I still didn't get it and I've called 3 days in a row and every time they're telling me my payment should be there by the end of today in my email and it still has not arrived and it's been 10 or 11 days now and when I asked to speak to a supervisor they can't provide me with a supervisorBusiness Response

I had sent cardcash.com my giftcard numbers in turn for cash. I wait awhile and nothing. Now in may I started tk really start emailing then about it and they said in December 2022 I sent them a target card with **** balance (I know it had a balance) I didn't get kne email stating the card had nothing on it until may 2023 when I emailed them. They sent me to card numbers for target that i had put in. Since it's been so long how do I know they didn't also take the target card, and if it was a **** balance why was i paid for it in the ***** place So they said they were going to take the balance I supposedly owed off the amount from this last transaction. But instead they took all 3 of my gift cards and I got nothing and they stopped emailing me.Business Response

it was determined that the Target card we purchased from you during a previous transaction turned out to be inactive. This resulted in a loss for our business, as we were unable to redeem the full value of the card.
We would like to draw your attention to the agreement you entered into with us at the time of the transaction. As part of our standard procedure, we require all sellers to read and acknowledge our terms and services. We have enclosed a copy of the agreement for your reference, and we kindly ask you to review section 22, which specifically addresses the responsibility for the validity and value of the cards sold.
We found that you had signed the agreement, specifically with number 22, indicating your acknowledgment and acceptance of the terms and services. This signature serves as confirmation that you understood the expectations and responsibilities outlined in the agreement.
In light of the situation, and to find a fair solution while considering our business losses, we made the decision to deduct the corresponding amount from your recent payment. This adjustment was made to account for the unredeemable value associated with the previous cards, as outlined in section 22 of the agreement.Initial Complaint

I sold gift cards to cardcash.com on 4/23/23 (order#'s ******* and *******) and I have not received payment for them. Cardcash said there was an issue with a previous transaction with them but that is not the case, THe previous cards sold to them were verified good both by myself and Cardcash. It seems the cards were redeemed AFTER I sold them to card cash and they are holding my cards because of this. I just wasnt my gift cards back with their full balances please.Business Response

After careful review and assessment, it was determined that some of the cards we purchased from you during a previous transaction turned out to be inactive. This resulted in a loss.
In accordance with our terms and services, specifically stated under section 22, it was agreed that in the event of defective or non-redeemable cards, the corresponding amount would be deducted from future payments to compensate for the financial impact on our business.
We understand that this deduction may have come as a surprise, and we apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused. It was not our intention to penalize you, but rather to adhere to the mutually agreed-upon terms and services that were established to protect the interests of both parties.

I am rejecting this response because: Firstly, the cards in question tested good before payment was issued. Your company checked them yourself. Secondly, I checked with a few of the providers and the cards in question were used AFTER I sent them to you, including the Panera Bread gift card (used after sale and a balance of a little over $1), and the $50 Nordstrom gift card in question was used AFTER I sold it to you in December of that year and the card was closed out in January of the next year with a zero balance.Lastly, if you had any issues with the gift cards in question, you should of returned them to me to insure I had the correct cards to investigate myself.

Hi,
When you initially sold ** the card, it was agreed upon that the card should be in proper working condition. Unfortunately, the card ended up faulty and could not be used as intended. In such cases, as outlined in our terms of service, we are obligated to take appropriate actions to rectify the situation. Based on the terms you agreed to while selling the gift card, we deducted the value of the defective card from your next order as a means of addressing the issue. This action was taken in accordance with our established policies and procedures, which are designed to protect both our customers and our company from any potential losses.Initial Complaint

I went to cardcash.com(CC) to get a quote on trading my *********** $100.00 gift card for an Amazon Gift card. And was quoted $75.85 in payment of an Amazon Gift card order #*******.Then went to Amazon.com to use gift card to make a purchasewith gift card for total around $70.00 and received an email from Amazon stating my order is on hold and that I needed to provide proof of ownership of gift card. I sent Amazon copy of invoice from CC and they replied with email asking for more info on where I purchased gift card. And this went on for a week. Then received email from Amazon that stated that my order was canceled and that the gift card From CC I would not have access to funds or card CC was not authorized to sell me the card. And it violated Amazons terms. Then also informed me that they were closing my Amazon account and that I won't have access to it at all. So I did chat with customer service at CC with ********** *****. ********* told it would be 1-2 days for resolution and this lasted 2 weeks and just kept being told same thing. then finally they came back with was that i had used card and nothing they can do. Now I called CS and talked to **** and explained and he agreed with me the others in cs did not understood. And as I did from ***** talk w/CS all I wanted for resolution was a ************ card equal to of Amazon card for $78. And **** told me on a Thurs. that he would take care of the issue and get back to me Friday or following Monday and that he would have it resolved for me by then. So then Monday came and nothing from anyone so I called and talked to multiple people all telling me it's in process and and the infamous **** days. And so now going in almost a month now and still no resolution and have been lied to by multiple CS agents and left multiple messages for the manager over a week and never heard back yet. And they also tell me I can't talk to **** the one who said he would take care of it. And just calling and getting same answer of 1-2 daysBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because:
Actully I am partially rejecting the response. And first I will say I appreciate the reply and also the nice gesture of the $30 credit. Which is a great start, except for as they stated there was a misunderstanding or confusion. And it seems as there is still exactly that on the Card Cash end. Because this would still leave me with a balance of around $44 to $46 from the around $75 Amazon gift card I was suppose to be paid with. Which as Card Cash stated yes I agree that I redeemed that Amazon card in the date stated by them. And that was not the issue. The issue is that Amazon canceled my order that I made with said gift card and then after that they the canceled my whole Amazon account and they also did not refund me or give me the Amazon card I received from Card Cash because they were and are not authorized to have sold or traded to me. And this I have explained countless times. And the only one person out of the multiple that I have talked with who's name was ****. So I'll say it again, because of the card I received from Card Cash for was not to be sold by them it violated the terms of the gift card and Amazon in general. Which in return all I received was a completely closed down and deleted Amazon account that was a seller account and has cost me quite a bit of income since it being shutdown due to the Card Cash gift that was sold to me I really could be asking for more than the $75 that is all I have wanted to resolve this. And also since this $30 seems as it was in their minds a gesture to make up for my time and hassle and loss of income, technically Card Cash would then still owe me the original amount of the Amazon gift card that was no good. But just like I have been fair from the start I will continue to if they promptly take care of the balance owed, I would still then be ok with the original amount. But my patience is really really wearing thin when this is now going on over a month of dealing with this. As well as still being without a Amazon account as I stated with card cash being at fault. Hopefully after now repeating myself and explaining the issue so many times I have lost count, that either **** the only one that did understand but then never got back to me or took care of as he said he would. Because this is the last time I will have the patience to repeat myself again. Thanks for your time.
Regards,

I sold three of my gift cards to Card Cash on there online website on May 8th 2023. The total amount was $108.30 which was supposed to be direct deposited into my account in 2-3 business days. It is the 24th of May and still no payment or money deposited in my account from them. I have tried to contact them over 10 times and wrote email after email and they still will not resolve the problem. I have not gotten paid for the gift cards I sold and the money was taken off the gift card on the 8th of May. I'm furious and this is the first time I have used their service and I don't plan on ever using it again I just feel like I got ripped off and robbed and I just want what's owed to me!!! I used CardCash once before without issues. I sent in my gift cards via ***** and received my check in the mail relatively quickly. I tried again and sent in $225 worth of gift cards knowing I would be getting $148. I sent them in over a week ago through **** and they are claiming they didn't receive anything. The support email and phone number are extremely unhelpful seeing as they're in an entirely different country and they say there's nothing they can do but contact the ** office (why not have a help center there? Oh right, you'd have to pay people a fair wage) and tell me to wait. After reading the reviews I can tell this is what they do and I've been scammed. The first time I got ***** tracking and the second time I didn't since I had no issues and I think they knew that and that's why they are stealing my money. I have the gift card numbers and the second I see their balance go down I will be contacting my lawyer friend for help. If you do decide to use this very sketchy company, get tracking on your cards and watch them like a hawk. Would really just recommend going through somewhere elseBusiness Response
