This store is nothing but a bait and switch. They are a sales store and that's all they do. I went in with a broken phone and broken watch from a prior accident. Asked to get a replacement using my insurance. I was presented with a phone and watch while discussing , I did not want my bill to increase more than 25.00-30.00. She said ok no problem. I look at my bill and with activation fees and all the other charges my bill is now ****** Never was I told about how insurance worked .. I thought that is what they were doin. So from ******. Now to ****** per month . SCAM SCAM SCAM DO NOT GO TO VERIZON IN HICKORY.

Its totally unacceptable.

I have never seen a more unprofessional company! Ive been overcharged, lied to, mocked and utterly embarrassed! I just switched to t-mobile and get so much more for less than what I paid for Verizon! They have hung up on me, promised to call me back and havent, put me on hold when they knew I was frustrated! They sighed repeatedly to show their frustration! I asked for a supervisor and said no, I asked for their agent number and said no! I asked frustration a call back number and said no! You should all drop Verizon or you will get screwed also!

Rating should be zero. Terrible customer service. Moving phone number was like pulling teeth. Was promised billing would be automatically stopped. Even received a confirmation letter stating billing was stopped and account closed. My mother has been billed for the last 4 months unknown to me. She goes into a Verizon store they refuse to help her. I call the 1800 # and since now have no way to reset the PIN number they cant access the account to investigate. I dont even understand how they are even in business. Had to pay a stop payment fee to get the automatic billing stopped. So mom is out over $350. Their behavior should be criminal.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the treatment I have received from Verizon regarding my recent attempts to replace the iPhone 16 I received for my not-for-profit organization, ******************************************** (GARE).Three weeks ago, I opened a Verizon mobile account for GARE and received an iPhone 16. However, upon realizing the size was not suitable, I contacted Verizon *************** to request a replacement with an iPhone 16 Plus. Despite multiple assurances and promises of shipping the replacement phone within two business days, my order was inexplicably canceled multiple times without a valid explanation.During my numerous calls to Verizon Business, I was informed that my account was flagged as fraudulent, yet no concrete reasons were provided to justify this accusation. After complying with requests to submit various documents to verify the legitimacy of my organization, including our 501c3 certificate, bylaws, bank statements, and my driver's license, the replacement order was still canceled. The most frustrating part of this ordeal was when Verizon charged our business bank card for taxes and phone charges, only to cancel the order for the fourth time immediately after. This not only wasted my time and energy but also cast unwarranted doubt on the integrity of GARE, an organization dedicated to aiding Ethiopians affected by man-made disasters since 2013.I urge you to review the information provided, including our organization's website (******************), to confirm the legitimacy of GARE. It is disheartening to be repeatedly labeled as fraudulent without just cause, especially when our mission and track record speak volumes about our commitment to humanitarian causes.I expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter, including the immediate shipment of the iPhone 16 Plus as promised. Your cooperation in rectifying this situation is greatly appreciated.Sincerely,*********************

I have been a Verizon wireless business customer for 6 years and a ********************** customer for probably 20 years and everytime I need to do anything with my phone service, even the most simple thing, it is always a hassle. Most recently I went to have lines transferred from a consumer account over to my business account. After speaking with 4 different customer service **** and two different supervisors my account is still not set up correctly. I have not been able to reach anyone who can explain their services and plans to me or even knows how to set them up. I dont believe they have anyone on staff whose first language is English making communication difficult. Their availability for customer support is limited. Heaven forbid anything happen with your service outside of regular business hours. The most recent actions on my account have left me with a bill that is more than twice what I was told it would be and they included taxes and fees in those quotes.

Verizon is the worst company I have ever dealt with. From the moment I switched, I was lied to. I was told my phone would be free if I left T-Mobile after 10+ years, and my order even showed that. When I went to pick it up, I was told I had to sign standard Verizon paperwork and that there would be no cost. That was false, and I later found out the ******** my second day as a customer, ********************** had already disconnected my service due to their own mistake. It took 3 hours, 6 different people, and multiple departments to fix it. None of them knew what the others had done or said. This lack of accountability and communication is the standard at Verizon. What makes this worse is the greed behind it. Verizon made $17.95 billion in profit in 2024. Meanwhile, their CEO **** ******** alone took home $24.16 million in pay, including a $3.86 million cash bonus and $18 million in stock awards. Other executives received multi-million-dollar packages as well. Customers are treated like disposable numbers while executives reward themselves with massive bonuses. This company does not value honesty, transparency, or customer service. ********************** is not just disappointing, it is a prime example of corporate greed at its worst. If you are considering switching, dont. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this company at all costs.

If I could give Verizon no stars I would , I was a 20 year customer of ******************** and over the last few years with fewer and fewer good plans and no appreciation for being a long time customer i started looking elsewhere and finally left Verizon this past June , I asked for a final bill to be mailed to my home which never came , my last conversation with Verizon it was my understanding that my last bill was prorated and would be $ 81 and some change but I never recieved a final bill , then in August I get an alert from my credit for a collection from Verizon for $ 281 made by a debt collector , I have tried to talk to Verizon but they will not talk to me so I contacted the debt collector and asked for a pay to delete agreement/letter and they refused , I asked for an itemized bill which I have yet to receive, Verizon Wireless is a horrible company I paid my bill for ********************************************* delinquent and now this BS they are pulling , I will never return to Verizon and will never give them any props they are horrible

Verizon receives zero stars. I recently left but I was customer for 23 years primarily because they had excellent customer service: real people who were knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. Recently I wasted hours trying to communicate with an hallucinatory ** robot system that sent me in circles and kept sending me incorrect text msgs from *** or *****, but they were ** chat bots. I requested that a real person call me. Finally a helpful man did call me back. He told me that once customers reached him they were so enraged by the ** system he had to apologize for a system that was taking his job. He sounded as if he was tearing up. He offered to solve my issue--the *** at the store gave us a plan for two of our family phones that I did NOT request---but he never called back. Instead I kept receiving crazy ** messages that this request was closed. After only one week of disputing the charges and one week late on payment, Verizon stopped our service. So I had to pay even though my customer service request was still open and not resolved. We left Verizon and are now blissfully happy with Consumer Cellular who are a BBB member. Verizon is not. It is easier to switch than you might think. I recommend Consumer Cellular. They are far less expensive and their mission is to serve with real and quality customer service.
