I cannot afford the outstanding fees put on unpaid tolls. There was a registration hold put on my vehicle.. I have tried multiple times to reactivate my ezpass which I didn’t realize was not activated for such time, I live in household with multiple people who get the mail. I work full time and can’t afford to NOT get my vehicle registered because of this. I am willing to settle on an amount. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.Business Response

I am looking for 600 dollars for my pain and time and a new free transponder as they promised me. thank youBusiness Response

I recently paid an outstanding fee of $3084 for easy pass tolls. My account was supposedly shut off last January. I was told that I would need to pay this off inorder to get my license renewed. Also when checking my account I found a rental car on my account. Also included in the screeahot is 2 payments of $156 which I will agree to pay. However, There is absolutely no way I racked up over 3k in tolls, that is an absolute absurd amount of money to pay for tollsBusiness Response

Hello. My name is **** * ********. I live in NH. And I am contacting the bbb to seek resolution for nh ezpass administrative fees regarding unpaid tolls. For almost 7 years I drove 165 miles a day, paying a total of 6 tolls a day, and never had a problem occur, during a particular difficult time in my life I was easily the most stressed I have ever been, and while driving to work the EZPASS sign repeatedly notified me that my account balance was low, but never flashed as negative. Which was normal, due to my low monetary refreshing threshold, and low replenishment amount. Between 15 and 60 dollars. I checked the online pages repeatedly and found no transactions listed. Until I FINALLY received a paper copy of a transaction in the mail. (Wrongfully mailed to a family members P.O BOX) Apon entering the transaction number/invoice number online to pay it, MANY other unpaid transactions appeared totalling MANY hundreds of times the principal toll amounts. And cannot register vehicles, and make a living. This is absurd and Unaffordable. These can't possibly be paid if I can't drive to work to pay for them. It is a dead-end situation. I am seeking settlement/ resolution to better my life and the lives of my family. These many thousands of dollars are not possibly worth the cost of that NHEZPASS claims, and for years I never had any significant issues until these violations. Their systems lead to difficulties paying these fees before they exploded exponentially monetarily.Business Response

Dear to whom it may concern,
I have a MA E-Z PASS. I have been charged $125.00 for late fees from E-Z PASS NH. MY MA EZ PASS is in good standing. This error continues to occur and only occur in NH.
I was charged (5) 2.00 charges equaling 17.50 for which EZ MA PASS was pre-paid to incur. However, I was charged 17.50 + (5) 25.00 fees $125.00.Business Response

Dear *******
I am responding to your BBB complaint #18515963 which
we received on December 19, 2022.
The violations in questioned occurred between August
27, 2022, and September 24, 2022. During
this time we did not read a MA E-ZPass transponder, please ensure that the
transponder is mounted properly, and have the internal battery checked to
determine if it is still working.
As the vehicle travelled through the lane we captured
an image of the license plate, MA 1WA330, we were unable to find an E-ZPass
account associated with this plate. If
the plate was properly listed on your MA account, we could have charged you by the
plate. Please check with MA E-ZPass to
ensure your plates are on your account.

Currently a registration hold on my vehicle upon getting into contact with NH DMV stating that I owe thousands in admin fees. Upon looking into my account the EZPASS company had taken over 800 dollars to pay previous admin fees in Nov 2021.
Upon trying to register my vehicle this year I still have fees according to the DMV which has put my account on hold.
I went into my account through EZPASS and I currently see not invoice letters/violations sent. Review and resolution would be nice.Business Response

At this time I see no outstanding invoices due to NH E-ZPass. I can see you 11/20/2021 payment, that included tolls and the settlement offer on the administrative fees. A release file was sent to NH DMV on the date of your payment.
NH DMV imposes as re-instatement fee that must be paid prior to being able to register your vehicle. I would suggest you reach out to NH DMV, perhaps they can assist you.

My name is ******* ******* and my wife drives to and from work using a car I own that doesn’t have a transponder. My account number is **********508. She’s uses the pay in 7 day option and every Friday she goes in and pays for the weeks tolls. It seems some of her toll usage is not coming up when she puts in that weeks dates. We didn’t realize this until several weeks ago and while we’ve received a few random notices and paid them we didn’t realize until invoice ********11305 came and we looked it up and many many violations came up that we did not receive. The bill total $1177.50 from what we can see. My car and the truck I own for my business are due to be registered in January and I understand this cannot happen with an outstanding EZ Pass bill. I need my truck for my business to work and I must be able to register it as well as the car my wife needs for work. I do not understand how they can “hide” invoices when you log into your account and just not send invoices in the mail to request payment. Not to mention the pay in 7 option clearly malfunctioned and continues to. We will either get a second transponder if this can be resolved or we will not use NH toll roads. Please help. Thank you.Business Response

I was away at university when I was being sent notices of EZ Pass tool bills. Since I was away, and my parents do not open mail named to me I had no idea of most these notices or of the administration fees being added to these bills. I never received any notices/ toll violations in the mail from NH EZPASS but now I have to pay over $8,000 for violation fees & late fees from 2020? That I didn’t know I had, Absurd! My car was originally registered to my ex wife’s address, when we split up I changed my address with the registry so why did I not get the invoices? Just last month October of 2022 I received a letter from MA RMV saying I wont be able to register or re new my car until I pay my outstanding toll violations with NH EZPASS! No way I can pay over 8k in tolls plus fees I didn’t even know I had!Business Response
