On March 6, 2023, I started a contractual engagement with this company and immediately embarked on the project at https://www.rushrecommerce.com. My main responsibility involved backend development, primarily using Node.js. Following the terms in our contract, I issued the first invoice on March 15, in accordance with the stipulation:
"Vendor shall pay Supplier within thirty (30) days, or less after receipt by Vendor of Supplier’s invoice."
Unexpectedly, the first invoice payment arrived on May 11 from Mark RREMOVED, without any prior negotiation or consensus, through a simple mail transaction.
I sent my second invoice on March 31, and it was settled on June 6. Subsequent to this, I submitted three additional invoices: $5600 for the third, $4760 for the fourth, and the final fifth invoice was for $1120. Disappointingly, the company, DevObsessed, has not remitted any further payments and has remained unresponsive to all my email correspondences. I would firmly caution against entering into professional relations with this company.
