      Over the 4th of July weekend. The website posted they were not having pick *** that day due to the holiday. The following week they did not pick up. We were then 2 weeks behind in service. We called to inform them they apologized and said we will send someone out and to call if no one had been there in ***** hours. No one came we called back. They said someone internally cancelled the pick up. They said they will try to resolve the issue and they would contact us. Nothing. We submitted a web request help form. No response. We called again. Once again they said they would note the account for pick up. Nothing. Now this friday no normal pick up. We called they said they would note our account and that someone would come out. We are sitting on 3 weeks worth of trash !!!!. Please help.

      My neighbors and I have consistently been notifying GFL over the past two months about how the garbage truck is leaving trash cans in the middle of the road or laying on its side. In fact, my neighbor had to go and retrieve my trash can and the neighbor across the street from her home, trash can from the road on Friday, June 25.On my way home from work on Friday, I was driving down ******************* and the trash can at *********************** was sitting halfway up on the driveway and tilted over onto the street. I noticed that it was going to fall over so I swerved to avoid hitting it and as it fell it caught my passenger side window and tore it off. This is ridiculous. I need GFL to compensate me for having to replace this side mirror.

      I am rejecting this response because: waiting on the review from the business. I will not close out until I receive the resolution. I encourage business to ride through ******************************* on a Friday afternoon to see trash cans in the road, completely on their sides, tipping over, and upside down. It was this way last Friday. My neighbor states that it looks like a new crew. I need to be reimbursed for my passenside mirror

      *** was our Community's Trash collector. I had six accounts with them for different properties I own. They messed up my bills constantly! They would post payments to the wrong accounts, not post payments at all and other such things. Another company took over for them but I kept one account with them. We entered into a contract earlier this year for $140.00 per month. I have paid them each and every month. However after two months, they began charging me $150.95. I called and they were supposed to adjust it to our contractual amount. They did not. Then for the past two months they have billed me $171.95 per month. They also owe me a refund of $44.71 for an overpayment I made. I have sent them copies of both checks that I paid them in that amount, They fail, refuse or neglect to refund my money. This company is horrible to deal with. They promise you something on the phone and it never happens. They have incompetent employees who misapply payments. They mess up too many things. Then they will stop your trash collection before they even check out the payment problems on their part. And they don't reimburse you for the times they do not collect. The public needs to be aware of the mismanagement of this company. They need to find another company to do business with! They are horrible to deal with!. They also sent me two bills for $44.71 and both were paid. I contacted them and sent copies of both checks that they received and cashed and they have not given my overpayment back! It has been nine months since I told them.

      I signed up for *** trash pickup service in March 2024. Service was fine until this June. They have not picked up my trash for six out of the seven past weeks. I paid for this service upfront three months ago.I have repeatedly called GFL customer service to voice my concerns. Ive also called Red Oak Sanitation, their new subcontractor for my neighborhood.All I wanted was a phone call from a manager so I could fix this ********** date, I have heard *************, however, I received an email notification from GFL that I owe them another $81.33 for the next three months of service.I responded with a written complaint saying that Im not paying this bill and that I want to cancel my service effective immediately. I also requested a refund of $8.14 for each of the six weeks of GFL no shows, for a total of $48.84. My neighbors recently canceled their *********** and were issued such a refund. I think GFL owes me the same courtesy. I also requested a phone call from a manager.Considering their ongoing discourtesy towards me, Im not holding my ********* hopeful the BBB can help me resolve this situation.       7/22/2025 - Date of Service Driver failed to pick up total of 1 yard of trash (96 gallon + 45 gallon) cans on 7/22/25. Called office and spoke to manager (******) who said my service was for 96 gallon can only. I have attached bill indicating I am eligible for 1 yard of weekly residential waste. Note bill and service ticket indicate different amounts. 1 yard vs .5 yard. I have had the same service for 10 years and today was the first time I have not been provided complete service. The office manager also would not provide 96 gallon totes that are provided to the rest of community because I place my service on hold seasonally although it is included in the service cost. I would like 2 totes provided as I have paid for the last 10 years as such and would like my 45 gallon can to be picked up this week. Other community members are also being overcharged for this service.

      The customer's account is set up for weekly service with a 96-gallon tote. In our system, a 96-gallon tote is recorded as 0.5 cubic yards. This change was made within the past two years, as we transitioned from listing these containers by gallon size to cubic yard equivalents. The customers current pricing is consistent with what other customers are being charged for the same level of service.
      Regarding billing, the invoice reflects a charge for 1 yard of service billed monthly. It does not specify weekly 1-yard service, which may have caused some confusion.
      We did retrieve the extra container as requested. However, we typically do not deliver totes for short-term or seasonal service lasting only a couple of weeks. Initially, the customer mentioned they would be discontinuing service after two more weeks, which is why a tote was not delivered. Later that same day, a note was added to the account indicating that a tote was offered, but it was declined.
      We appreciate your patience and understanding as we worked through this issue. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist with.

      GFL CANT BE TRUSTED!! They have gladly taken my money but refuse to provide trash services as agreed. I pay for the pickup of 3 96 gallon cans with them. All 3 were at the curb on the morning of 7/1. My TRASH WAS NOT PICKED UP. I called and they are supposed to return to pick it up but never did. I had to pile trash in my garage for the entire week until the next pick up because all of my cans were full from the missed pickup. The next pickup date was 7/8 AND AGAIN, NO TRASH PICK UP!! I called again and threatened to cancel and they promised to send someone back out. Which thank God they did this time because by now we had so much rotting garbage in our garage to put in the cans. The next date was 7/15 and can you believe that OUR TRASH WASNT PICKED UP AGAIN!!!!!!! I called, complained and requested to have the trash picked up and was told that the situation had to be escalated but they couldnt tell me if the trash would be dumped because theyre using some third-party that they have no direct communication with. I hung up and called back, hoping to get someone that would actually help me. I made the same request. I was told the same thing I requested to cancel immediately and the lady kept trying to convince me to stay until the end of my current billing cycle, which was two weeks out. I declined because this was the third time that my trash was dumped in a row, and I was no longer interested in having to chase them down each week for a service that I had already paid for and that they were unwilling or unable to provide. After several times on hold I was told that they couldnt cancel me immediately and that it would take 7 to 10 business days. What a coincidence thats the same amount of time that they were trying to convince me to continue on with the service anyway!!!! They were supposed to come back to pick up my trash for the third time and never did!! I have three full cans of trash as I write this!!! DONT USE THEIR SERVICE!!!

      I contacted *** over two weeks ago to sign up for residential garbage removal service. I paid for services in advance. Since then, I have still not received a garbage can nor have had any garbage removal services provided. I have contacted *** several times to remind them of this. I was told to put trash on the street and it would be picked up the next day. This did not happen. I called again and was told again the trash would be picked up the next day. This once again did not happen. I called the day trash was to be picked up, and was told to be patient and the trash would be picked up by the end of the day. It was not. I would like a garbage can to be dropped off at my property and would like a refund for the two weeks of services that were not provided.

      We are paying for trash service and these guys have missed our trash since June 23rd. Its July 9th and I havent had my trash picked up fro two weeks despite all other neighbors having had theirs removed. I have made many calls to the customer service with no help. They have no remorse and keep saying they will send someone tomorrow. Its almost 3 weeks that they have caused unsanitary conditions around my house. There are many bugs and 3 weeks old trash around our containers with no help from this company.
