Hello,Thank you so much for letting you know this!The address of our branch was : ********* Hauling ****************************************************************** General Manager is *************************, the phone number is ************.We started the service with this company on May 1st 2021, and cancelled the service on July 31st 2022.We lost a lot of money during the service and while cancelling it.It was billed only $130 on the first month of the service, and then they increased the price to $148.20 after 7 months, to $225.78 after 11 months. There is a note in every invoice ; due to increased costs, your next invoice may reflect a price increase. It had been paying automatically, we noticed that so much later, finally we decided to cancel the service.When we received the last bill, we were very shocked since the amount of liquidated damages was $1922.09.How could this happen? The problem was that the term in the agreement was 5-year. Usually the term with this type of company is 1 year. They corrected the term to steal money from customers. Who can this think? Nobody knows there will be a trick in the agreement. Customers sign without checking the term, with no doubt. This is a trick!I am so sad this type of company is in our community! They signed a new agreement in April 2021 for 5 years. They decided in July of 2022 they wanted to cancel. They paid LD to cancel contract for early termination.
The LD billed on the 7/20 invoice. It was paid in July and account has been closed since then. Copy of the agreement is attached to the account.

I have two dumpsters one is a trash dumpster the other is a cardboard dumpster this is a business account and the name of the business is ****** dialysis Vance county I have a situation where there is a new driver that has started a route within the last 6 months of picking up our trash and cardboard this driver has not been consistent with picking up our trash or cardboard on a consistent basis the cardboard has not been picked up out of the dumpster within the last 3 weeks today's date is November the 27th 2022 I have made numerous attempts to call gfl environmental and they have made notes in the system as far as my complaints which are the trash dumpster trash is not picked up on a consistent basis it has rust cracks in the bottom of the dumpster that is allowing trash to fall out of it and I have asked for a new dumpster to be delivered and as of today's date November the 20th 2022 nothing has been resolved there also the cardboard dumpster has the same issue there's not a consistency of cardboard being picked up by the driver as of today's date November the 27th 2022 the cardboard dumpster has not been picked up in the last 3 weeks and it is full all the way to the top and we have no way of putting our cardboard in the dumpster and I have not been able to get anyone to resolve this problem also so I'm just trying to see what needs to be done to resolve this problem each time that I call gfl environmental they just make a note of my issues and nothing is done and as stated before I've called numerous times in the last 5 to 6 months and these are my issues thanks.Business Response

I pre-paid for 2 months service for 1 time per week trash pickup. I am Paid until 12/31/22. On November 21st my trash was not picked up. The truck was in the neighborhood picking up trash, however drove past my trash can without stopping. I called within an hour (early afternoon) and was told they would be back to pick it up. Did not happen. I called again on Tuesday 22nd, at 8:00 a.m. spoke to ***** and was told they would pick it up today. Did not happen, I called again on Wed. 23rd, at 8:00 a.m spoke of ********* and was told they would pick up today. Also did not happen, this seems to be their protocol, just keep lying and saying they will pick up. I paid in good faith for this weekly service that they are not providing. I signed up for trash services on 9/2021. The first 9 months GFL Environmental was picking my trash up on time. GFL stop picking up my trash as schedule and every month I called and complain about my trash not picked up. I was paying my bill on time, also I paid two payments a head. After numerous missed trash days it became an issue and I became tired of it; As a result, I cancelled my account
on 09/2022 since I paid two payments. GFL owed me a refund of 75.00 I have been calling asking for my refund. I have talked to several GFL representatives. I talked to ****** on two separate days and on the first conversation. she told me the none of the previous representatives. I talked to never put the order in for my refund, so she said "I am putting in the order, your refund should arrive to you on November 7th 2022. She asked me why I cancel my account? My refund has not arrived, I called on November 21, 2022. I talked to ******, She said the refund was put back in my checking account. I explained to the refund is not in my account. Then ****** said, I had to look on ***************** to get my refund. I asked her why? ****** response, "a supervisor will call you back today." a supervisor never returned my call. I want my over payment of 75.00 mailed to me. I have talked to other GFL workers previously, unfortunately I did not write down their names. I started keeping record of names after I talked to ****** and she told me the other representatives did not put in for my refund.Business Response

We have had service with GFL for many years at a previous address and now our current address. We have paid for service yearly. Our service includes 2 of the 96 gallon residential trash cans that are picked up on Mondays. We have a residential service with GFL. On Monday October 17, 2022 the truck arrived and lifted the cans and dumped contents into their truck, except that the one can fell into the truck. They drove off. I called to report this within the hour after it happened to the local number provided by the website. The lady said she noted on my account of the incident and that they would get another can out to me. I called 2 weeks later and spoke with a different lady who said she saw where I had called and reported it. I asked when we could expect the replacement can and she stated she did not know when it would be replaced. She said she would credit my account back for the can charge for the month of November. I asked when we would know about the replacement and when they would provide an update. She said she did not have a date and that they would not provide updates and that I would have to call back if I wanted to check on status. As of today they have only given me a partial reimbursement for the can for November...charge is 10.50 for the can but they only credited me 8.50 I just simply want the can replaced and someone to actually provide some some form of customer service and update along the way. Horrible customer service, no updates, no can, and did not follow through with refunding me for the month of November. The drivers refuse to pick up the extra bags next to the can we still have to help accommodate for the missing can. Very disrespectful drivers, obvious lack of and/or poor management of this service. I just want the can so we can get the trash out of the house that is accumulating.Business Response

The reason I am filing a complaint is because my trash and neighbors have not been picked up by this company in weeks. Sometimes they do take 2 weeks or more to pick it up, however it's been happening more often. All we want is our trash to be picked up, since we are paying for it.Business Response

GFL has repeatedly not picked up our trash or my neighbors. I call they say it’ll be picked up that same day but it isn’t.
I’ve asked to speak with a supervisor and told one will call me but doesn’t.
I finally got a call today from a supervisor after getting a corporate phone number from the GFL office in *********** TN. The Princeton GFL office which services my area would not give me a corporate number.
I had spoken to a supervisor in the Princeton office about 3 weeks ago (recorded most of the conversation) she called me. Talked to me like dirt, lied to me and gave me false information. I called back and spoke to ******* who was very nice but not helpful. This company is getting paid, cashing our checks but not providing the service we’re paying them for.
All I want is for them to come get their 2 trash cans (full of trash) they haven’t come to pick it up in 2 weeks and to refund my money for November.
They have missed pickups many many times since they started. I rarely if every called to complain because they’d usually get it the next week. It became a problem when they called me.

Never received a bill and made a payment online for what was completely owed and account has not been updated. Get home today and my trash can has been taken without any rhyme or reason as to why. I payed my trash bill 10/3/2022 and payed it up till January. On 11/3/2022 GSL picked up my trash can for unknown reason and told me that they will deliver me a new trash can. It's been over 15 days I have yet to receive a trash can. I ask for a refund so I can go to another company and they refuse to give me a refund.
