1 starJust like all aforementioned reviews nobody likes to be towed. I understand the nature of the business and how dangerous it can truly be when interacting with an angry individual. That being said - I have the upmost respect for drivers and my interaction with the one driver on site was pleasant. However the dispatcher from this company was quite literally the last person in the world who needs to work in customer service. Based on the companys response condemning customers of being upset and lashing out at them; I expect them to have no gauge on what proper customer service looks like. This dispatcher did not even entertain the idea of responding to my questions and concerns with decency in common sense. He took the time to curse me out, curse out the head of security at the location in which the incident occurred and call me out of my name at least 10 times. All of which Is recorded. This message wont bring down the business and Im sure whoever from the company responds to these doesnt care in the slightest. My point is to bring light to the foolishness occurring and I hope that theres an honest effort to clean up your business in some way.Review fromJamey H

1 starI think it is fair to say that no one enjoys being towed/wheel blocked, but tonight was an absolutely hideous display of unprofessional behavior. My wifes car was blocked outside of her job. When she came out and got in her car, they didnt even say anything to her. She tried to back out and the car twisted a little then stopped. At that point, the tow truck driver gets out and tells her that the property manager wanted her to be towed. When she told him she works there and asked who did she need to call, he told her call the number on the truck. The man who answered the phone yelled at her that she had two options: pay $250 now or pay $500 later, but if she called back there, he would call the police?!?!? She was already tired from working two shifts, she was stressed about paying for a tow bill for her car that was parked where she works, and then rather than talk to her like a human being he yelled at her and threatened her. He said his name was ******, and when she asked for his name, he retorted with Why? Whats your name? WheelBlockerz is notorious for vile behavior, but this one was completely unwarranted, unprofessional, and predatory. Absolutely unacceptable.Wheel Blockers

Unfortunately if your wifes vehicle was called in to be towed she didnt have authorization to park there. Our dispatchers and drivers have no reason to be rude. Its usually the other way around. If your wife worked there and had authorization to park there she could have easily called the same people we work for who called us in the first place to have the situation resolved.Review fromKay J

Unfortunately even with all the warning signs posted numerous people utilize the parking lot to go to court or other downtown locations to avoid paying for parking. As long as you dont leave your vehicle on the property to go elsewhere you wont have any issues.Review fromSean M

1 starMy car was put on the tow truck behind where I currently reside. My pass had fallen off the mirror and was between the seats. It was at the Renaissance town homes in Noda. When my neighbor called me I ran out and showed them my pass. They charged me a drop fee of 325 which is utterly ridiculous because it is 350 to two the car entirely. When I called the number I was hung up on.Review fromIvette L

1 starI parked at a post office uptown while I had to go pick up a document and then to mail it from the same post office. When coming to my car I had my car booted. When I called the phone number on the ticket I was informed I had to pay $200 dlls. which is outrageous. When on the sign it stated $125. When I called the company for explanation to this amount. He first stated he didnt set the prices. Then I proceeded to ask for a supervisor, he threatened me to send a towing truck over to tow my car. And it would be $350 to recover my vehicle. I told him I already had my vehicle in my possession and I requested a supervisor. He then said he was the supervisor and that he was setting the price and hung up on me. This company sure knows how to steal money from people. $200 is outrageous. They are not only rude but theyre robbing people.Review fromMary B

1 starThis business is disgusting and needs to be regulated by the county/city. My car wasnt even parked for 20 minutes and it was towed away. I was over charged and felt so unsafe dealing with these people both on the phone and in person while retrieving my vehicle late at night. Everything the negative reviews say about them is 100 the truth. These people need to be removed from their authority there was no reason for them to tow my car in a lot that doesnt even require a permit let alone after less than 20 minutes of my car being parked. They have predatory behavior and are absolutely disgusting.Wheel Blockers

You didnt indicate what lot you were towed from but any lot we service is private property and Towing Enforced signs are clearly posted per city ordinance with the fees include. You evidently choose to park there still regardless of the towing signs warning you. Going forward please respect others property and follow the parking rules and you can avoid this situation.Review fromMary T

1 starMy car was booted with no signage in front of my parking spot or nearby. When I challenged the man who showed up to remove it he told me there didnt need to be signage to justify it. I said I was going to call CMPD to be a tie breaker since we were at odds and he got in my face and said I could pay $225 now or get towed. Even after I paid, he wouldnt remove the boot until I signed a receipt saying I was satisfied with service. When I told him I didnt want to sign because obviously I did not think there was grounds to boot my car he once again threatened to tow my car if I didnt sign. Regardless of whether I was rightfully booted or not which I still stand by - I felt physically intimidated and pressured into paying and signing so as to not be towed.Wheel Blockers

Unfortunately you were illegally parked which led to you being booted. All properties we service have the required towing signage at each entrance per city ordinance. You have the choice to pay card or cash but it is company policy that you do have to sign in order to have the vehicle released if paying by card. Please pay attention to *********** and follow the parking rules going forward.Review fromJordan E

1 starPredatory towing. They told me point blank that they dont patrol my building lot and I was fine in MY spot even though I was waiting on my tag. They booted me after telling me that, waited for me to go inside and booted me. They are the worst people in the world. No wonder why this is their profession.Review fromRebecca W

1 starThere is running a business, then theres being a bottom feeder predator. Ive known multiple people who have had a situation, including my two daughters over the last couple of years, with this business. I have never seen a towing company that is so disconnected with customers and customer service. They avoid your calls and they hang up on your calls. Any management company, any company period that uses their services, is asking for their tenants to leave and retail shoppers to never go back. I totally understand that people can get towed. Most of us have been at one time or another. But it shouldnt be difficult to communicate to get your vehicle picked up. And when the police officers tell you that the guy running that show is known to be a total a-hole, you know that Wheel Blockers is a thorn in everyones side. There are towing companies that do their job and can still be human beings and ethical. This company is definitely the bottom of the barrel. In the end, karma will get them in their personal life. Power trip much, Wheel Blockers? Stop talking down to people. Just do your job and learn to communicate in a productive manner. I dont understand why its so hard for you to be a decent business.Into the woman who wrote about a class action lawsuit, we are in! Enough is enough already.
