I was booted at my friends apartment complex. Was there for less than an hour, and Wheelblockers was creepily waiting for me in the dimly lit garage to demand $250 or not boot removal. I was honestly afraid and could not believe the intimidation tactics and price for this. Absolutely unbelievable the way the man treated me and that unbelievable fee. This is beyond a scam.

A boot was placed on my companions car while we explored the shops and restaurants along ******************** Street. I have a disability placard that was prominently displayed while we were out to dinner. Personnel that showed up demanded payment in cash or via Zelle because their square wasnt working. They said that was our problem, not theirs. Wheel Blockers provided no receipt or defined their charges, they couldve claimed any amount depending on their mood. Avoid NoDa if you can; property owners at Fat City are jerks. These practices are discriminatory and unjust.

I was blocked by Wheel Blockers then after calling from *67 to ask a question was hung up on. Two weeks prior I had the same issue of the same car parking in my reserved parking, when I called the employee was clearly sleeping in the job. I could hear him snoring and had to call back. The issues was not resolved or the same car would no be parking in the exact same spot again.

This company is a ripoff. They charge way above regular booted car rates $200. Then added an extra boot to the car. Then my son jacked the car up and said he was looking at it. Did not damage the boot. They charged me another $300 to cut the boot off.

This company has poor customer service. The guy on the phone when I called the business number hung the phone up on me. They are preparatory. Would give them 0 stars if I could.

This company is misogynistic and practices predatory behavior. DO NOT, under any circumstance, use them for your property. Would choose 0 stars after feeling ********, getting hung up on 4 times, etc., but that is not an option.

Zero stars should be a review rating option as I only chose a 1 rating because zero wasn't an option. Wheel Blockers uses illicit and manipulative tactics to extort money from individuals who fall victim to the company's schemes. Mine and my husband's car was towed ***************************************************** the Plaza Midwood area yesterday evening, 11 minutes. We left the store, strolled the sidewalk, and discovered our car had been towed when we returned to our vehicle. I confronted the two workers loading the truck with another vehicle to inquire about my own car, and I was accused of being drunk because I was an inquisitive female inquiring about why my car was towed. I was not drunk nor was I acting drunk. My questions were being dismissed, and I was being accused of being aggressive because a female questioned these actions. These two misogynistic males were high as a kite with a stench to prove it while inappropriately accusing me of being drunk. My husband approached the conversation as these men were making the accusation. Those words were not only inaccurate, but they seemed to be tactically used to deflect from the incident at hand. We tried rationally talking to the company the next morning as we retrieved my car, and we were told they wrote me up for being assertive. Wheel Blockers arbitrarily tacked on an additional $100 to our towing fee in addition to charging an extra $50 for overnight vehicle storage when our car was at the lot for only 12 hours. I cannot believe a property management company would be affiliated with such a classless and deceitful company. We question the integrity of the businesses that lease from a management company who employs a towing company with unethical and criminal practices. Not only will we fight the towing company, but we are fighting the business we patroned and the leasing company responsible for the employment of a crooked towing company. I suspect a class action lawsuit can rightfully be filed against **.

Terrible! Do not live in south end ********* and my car got booted. They charged $200 to remove the boot. When researching the city ordiance it states it should not exceed $50. I would like a refund of the $150 that was over charged. Especially since they were already on site.Sec. *****. Fee charged for removing boot.(a) The fee to remove a boot shall not exceed $50.00.(b) It is unlawful for a private booting company, unless it is acting on behalf of a governmental agency, to place a boot on a motor vehicle parked on the public right-of-way.(***.
