    We have had the same experience as '******* E'. Panels were installed quickly but when the ************* attempted to complete the witness test in September it failed. The Solar Panels are not sending any feedback to the new meter. We reached out to representative, Palmetto and Empower(installed panels). ************* has been out 4 times now. We continue to let Palmetto know that a Solar technician needs to be on-site with ************* to get this resolved. We provided photo's of the meter showing there is no *********** say we are disappointed is an understatement.

    0 stars, would never recommend this company. Installed solar 2 years ago, not operational for months now, very poor communication and follow through. Please look elsewhere when considering solar.

    Working with Palmetto has been a pain. They do not submit to federal law of the **** and I've not been able to get in contact with any supervisors. I was even hung up on by an agent on the phone. They will be getting sued. They are bad at communication and only email right before they close for the day. No answers of mine have been solved.

    I had a great experience woth my solar installation. I was informed about all the steps and process of the installation in advanced. They were very transparent and upfront. When I had questions, they were available and informative.

    Working with Palmetto staff has been easy from our first conversations to switching on our panels. The provided answers to our questions, researching answers they weren't 100 percent on. Husband was VERY skeptical about solar, but the *** did her best to address each issue. She managed to leave him without further concerns! Rather than financing, we received a significant discount for paying cash, rather than financing, so we have no experience working with the financial folks. I would highly recommend paying cash, rather than financing, if possible, to maximize savings. Install was easy and without issues. We became operational a few weeks after installation was complete. We've been operational almost six months and are happy with performance and monthly electric bill savings. Note, there is still electric charges for maintaining an account and 'delivery.' I'm happy we took the leap of faith to go solar and our decision involve Palmetto.

    I am extremely frustrated with the activation process for my solar system. It has been four months since I purchased it, and its still not working. Today, a DTE technician came to inspect the system and provide permission to operate, but he informed me that he couldnt conduct the inspection because the system wasnt generating any energy.I then contacted Palmetto, and they told me the system wasnt working because I didnt have permission from ***. After spending more than half an hour explaining to the Palmetto representative that this wasnt the issue and providing all the details I received from the DTE technician to prove that the system wasnt functioning, the Palmetto representative finally understood. He then advised me to contact the sales representative. Seriously?I reached out to the sales representative, explained the entire situation again, and his response was, "What am I supposed to do?" Unbelievable! To make matters worse, I have a payment due next week for this non-functional solar ********* advice to everyone: Do not purchase anything from Palmetto.

    From start to finish my Palmetto team was always there to help and guide through me through the sometimes complicated steps of switching to solar power. Especially those steps dealing with the final completion of the process and the permits and inspections that the electric company had to perform and complete before flipping that switch - installation went smoothly and any questions I had about placement of the panels and approval of the panels placement was completed without any problems- I am forever grateful for their intervention when needed and know theyll be there in the future if I need their help.

    ** untile you have a warranty issue . Then they ignore you untile your time limit runs out . A case of to good to be true . Buyer beware .
