Absolutely horrible I’ve been paying them for a little over two years started out at $100 and I called to cancel and they lowered me down to $60 a month for just the transmission and motor coverage when my transmission went out It’s still cost me. $2600 when my deductible is only $100 and they still want to put a used trans mission with 150 K miles when mine went out at 165k and now my motor is bad and the head gasket is leaking, coolant into the engine, which causes the engine to go bad and now they won’t cover it so I’ve been paying them for basically three years now and they just straight up denied it with or if it was just from over the time it went bad. Oh then we would’ve covered it but since the head gaskets went bad they don’t cover it. so all the money I’ve been paying them. Basically they get to keep it for free because they do it to everybody. I’m even finding out through the dealer mechanics and all. Say they do the same thing so basically they just have a legal way of scamming you for your money they take it and deny your claims all the time so now I gotta come up with money to fix my motor on top of the money, I pay of been paying them, which I really don’t have save your time and money and just save your own money that you would’ve been paying them It’s not worth the headache. If I can get a lawyer, I would sue them. I do not make a lot of money as it is and I have rent to pay. I’m struggling to live as it is. So this frustrates me really bad that they just took my money that I could’ve used towards the engine repair of doing it on my own.PLEASE DO NOT PAY THEM MONTHLY SAVE MONEY ON YOUR OWN AND PUT ASSIDE DO NOT GET SCAMMED

the first three pages of your vehicle service contract, ******** **** ****** ****) is the administrator of your vehicle service contract and has FULL
authority over repair procedures, approvals, denials and payments. We
have contacted them to obtain information on the repair claim you have
referenced. Per *** notes you called *** on 1/4/2023 to check for coverage on your vehicle. You were advised to have your chosen repair facility call in with their diagnosis to verify coverage. Your repair facility called in to verify coverage for the head gasket, and advised they would perform more diagnosis to confirm. The next day, you called to get an update and were advised you would be responsible for any RDI. No further action has been taken since. We see a previously authorized claim for transmission replacement is adjudicated per the terms of the contract. The current denied pre-claim for head gasket failure is correct per the terms of the contract as this contract does not have gasket coverage. On January 1, 2023 we spoke with an CarShield representative. We told him we wanted to take our 2019 Ford Explorer to a Ford Dealer to get the water pump on our car repaired, Were told by the representative he does not recommend that because if they take long over the book hours, We also explain to the that we went to our Ford Dealer and they found out we were using CarShield that they stated "We were going to have problems with CarShield." We asked the representative do they recommend places we can take our vehicle that accept Carshield he gave us the link and we found a car repair place. On January 4, 2023, we drop the vehicle off at 7:00 AM for repair. That afternoon car repair place called and stated they spoke with CarShield and our vehicle will be ready on January 8, 2023. This is when the problems began. We called CarShield probably 5-6 times each representative will tell us something different and then will state " The other representative was new and did not know the procedures. Finally we were told we can only get a rental for 1 day. We explain what the car repair place had told us Sunday and did not explain why they could not fix it before that time, We suppose to have the Diamond Package which is the top of the line package for CarShield. What they advertise in their commercial is not the service we have experience and this is our first time filing a claim. The representative for CarShield even call the car repair place they recommend on their list for repairs liars. As a customer you rely on them for a service. You pay monthly for that service, so for a customer to go back and forward with a car repair place and get no help from the place you pay monthly is absolutely unacceptable to me. Now I see why car dealers do not want to deal with CarShield , We were told one thing when we purchase CarShield and have experience something totally different when we had to get our vehicle repaired.

I had two contracts with this company. I cancelled one of them because of a repair dispute. Carshield cancelled my other contract a month later without my knowledge. I called today for some information because I noticed the payment had not been withdrawn from my account. I was informed the contract was cancelled 11/14/2022 because I requested the other policy to be cancelled. I informed them that I did not request for this contract to be cancelled. They were two separate contracts with two separate payments with two separate email addresses so there was no way for them to be confused. I asked about reinstating the contract and I was given a higher price because of the cancellation. I asked why I was given the higher price when the cancellation was not at my request. The representative was not helpful and could not answer my question.

Carshield continues to call and harass me about my payment. I call and make my payments over the phone. I still receive calls. On 12/2/2022 I received a call from Carshield stating that I made a partial payment ,and they took 138.00 out of my bank account with out my permission. I never gave them permission for auto payment with Carshield. I called Carshield back and was on hold for 45minutes, then when I finally spoke with someone they stated that I made a partial payment of 50.00 dollars and they took the 138.00 dollars out before my due date. The representative transferred me to billing, and this Company was called ********* ******** and they stated Carshield makes up every excuse to fixing repairs so they taking over. ********* ******** stated that my payments would be 170.00 dollars for 18 months and I would have coverage for four years. and I would receive my 1700.00 that I put into Carshield and I should receive that in the mail in 30 days. ******* ***** ************ with ********* ********. ******* stated that ********* ******** would waive the fee of 127.71 that I pay Carshield every month. I had a warranty with Carshield. They approved it for my car to get a new motor but I cannot find a shop that will put the motor in so I called October 12 to cancel the policy and I start looking back on my bank statement to see that they have still been charging me $107 and some change, so I called to request my money. The guy was very rude. He hung up on me and they refused to give me my money back. I’m only asking for October November and December back not the last two years that I’ve been paying for this.

On December 5, 2022
I placed my car in the shop. I have carshield warranty. So they paid for my car no problem. I spent $845.00 for rental care. I have rental car services on my policy. I sent carshield a copy of my rental bill. Because I am due reimbursement for the rental car. It was an hardship for me to pay the car rental out of pocket and waited on reimbursement. It is now January 2023. I'm still waiting on reimbursement. I have called today January 3,2023 December 17,2022, December 28,2022
Every time I call its wait for call or email. I haven't received anything. I sent them a copy of rental bill and nothing. The contract #******* *************

Purchased used car in August. Got CarShield warranty8/25/2022. Car broke down in November. Car Shield mechanic is ***** on Northland. CarShield instructed him to run numerous tests and eventually an engine tear down. I had to pay $5200.00 for all this work but, CarShield was supposed to reimburse me. After all this is done CarShield told the mechanic that they were denying the claim because the engine was "revved". Per all the master mechanics at the shop, Infiniti's have a fail safe in their engine to prevent this. CarShield agreed to send out an inspector to see the car after they were told this,
Later that day they called back & said they were cancelling the inspector and not covering the repair.
Mechanic said it would cost an additional $7200.00 to put the car back together again.
Car Shield should send out an inspector and pay for the cost of the tear downs at the very least. Now I have a $10K car that is going to cost me over $12K to fix.
Mechanic is willing to provide photos, copies of all tests and willing to speak with anyone who will listen

I am rejecting this response because: I am obtaining the documentation from ***** who is authorized to work with CarShield and has been in contact with them during the teardown of the vehicle to support my complaint. The mechanics performed every test required by CarShield, of which there were many. The cost of all of the tests were in excess of $5,000.00.
After all of the tests (which the mechanic felt reflected the need for the repairs) CarShield decided they were not going to pay. I was out of pocket for all of the testing they requested. The testing was not asked for by me, but them. The mechanic assured me that the repairs were needed and he felt they would pay. Not only would CarShield not pay, but they refused to even send out an adjuster/inspector to view any of the parts or the vehicle to confirm the damages and need for repair.
At the very least they should pay for all of the testing they required.
Sincerely,
***** ********

car shield denied claim to repair turbo on my 2013 BMW650I. on December 2022. I purchased the top of the line policy that would cover all components of the vehicle only to be told because it was not a lubricated part they were not going to pay for repair. The turbo has to be replaced. I paid for one year and never used the policy until this repair was needed. In addition to denying the claim.
