I was pressured during my call with the sales team during my call I asked if I can take review the contract before I made a decision during the call the rep explained do not worry you can call within 30 days ( I called on the 05/19) and that I can review the contact.. During this call there were small mentioned of my responsibility of maintenance and upkeep when I asked if this is criteria she no fast forward I got the contact and when looking at it it was way to ambiguous and not direct and definitely leaves room under their "Policy" for an easy denial of a claim" I sent an email on 06/19 requesting a cancelation for may and all future plans through their portal and I did this because I called in and it said it was conveniently "After hours" if calling is the policy it should be a 24 hours service allotting you the full day to cancel. I called their team to confirm my cancelation on 06/20 and during the call I was met with a combativeness and how my reason for cancelation makes no sense and my coverage is fine I asked several times if I can please move forward with my cancelation and the refund as promised the rep denied the refund and said you keep this coverage for month of June but refund also, we moved forward for future cancelation I requested for a supervisor to reach me however I do not thing this will solve anything, It was also confirmed per another call with ***** on 6..20 that during a sales call they only say " You can cancel within thirty days no mentions of you must call only. He said" no we don't tell you, you have to call during a sales call we just say you cancel When looking at the portal is has absolutely no mentions of you must reach us for cancelation it even offers a portal to send a written from email for request. It gives no indication of their policy. I feel like I was given this chance to take my time to review the policy with the promise of cancellation yet withholding the full facts. ***** also confirm the email was received on 06/19

Car shield **** * are doing false false advertisement. When I contracted over the phone I was assured my coverage and monthly payments for premium coverage in 2021. Now that I am stranded and my over three hours from home trip has been interrupted, I am told that I qualify for $50.00 per day, up to three days, lounging and food and one day of car rental of $40.00. the car is too small for my daughter's car seat. I need my car to be prepared properly and full reimbursement for the car rental. I don't know of any place to stay and eat for $50.00 a day. The shop has to wait on parts before finishing the job but yet my vehicle has been authorized $1400.00 for complete job.

I purchased a policy on a vechicle i had recently acquired. I was told by the salesman it had a ten day 500 mile waiting period,a lie, we took a trip and after ten days and ove **** miles an issue came up. I thought it was just the transmission fluid. I took it in to get a quote to change the fluid and car ****** said that meant it was a pre-existing condition. They took over month to denie the claim, deliberately taking it past the sixty day cancellation policy. A total rip off

As noted on the first three pages of your vehicle service contract, ******************** (AAS) is the administrator of your vehicle service contract and has FULL authority over repair procedures, approvals, denials and payments.  We have contacted them to obtain information on the repair claim you have referenced. Your claim was reviewed by the Legal Claims Director for AAS, an ASE-Certified Master Mechanic, who determined the claim had been adjudicated correctly and in accordance with the terms of the contract.

AAS notes stated you admitted that the issue occurred in mid April, which would be roughly 2 weeks after contract purchase. This is evidence of a failure that occurred within the waiting period. AAS reviewed the sales call, you were not advised of a 100 day waiting period and was in fact advised of the correct 20 day and 500 mile waiting period. During the call you confirmed you understood any failure that occurred within this period would be considered pre existing.

CarShield will refund your payments in full upon execution of a Settlement and Release Agreement. If you wish to accept this offer, please email ******************************* to confirm and we will draft the Agreement and email it to you for your electronic signature. I started the contract on 5/18/2023. I am a home care aide and drive my vehicle very often. I started to have an issue a few weeks after getting carshield to where I drove my vehicle ***** miles & showed records of maintenance. I had carshield help me find a mechanic to send my vehicle to I do as told. Also was to wait til 6/13/23 to have my vehicle looked at so i was told by the **** the mechanic at Affordable auto to have the vehicle towed to their shop 6/12/2023 so they would have the vehicle on time. I told them the concern I had which an invoice was made and sent to Carshield to when they have denied the claim. Carshield told me to take the dispute to the BBB.

I had a contract with Carshield for over one year. I did it to be prepared in case something went wrong with my car on Chevy 2010 HHR. On March 18 of this year my water pump broke. It took Monument Chevy to fix the problem since the pump was run with the best of the timing device. They fixed that the Chevy adjuster  Adjuster named ***** said the car would not start with the new pump. He ran a compression test and found that the two cylinders had low compression and that there were carbon at the bottom of the cylinders. I called CarShield and they said they would have no problem with the new problem. Commercial adjuster said or told ***** to send them  data from the compression test. ***** did that, then they told ***** to run more compression test and they would look at the results. It’s a Karsch feel too much to say they would not fixed my car. Then they said that since my claim was denied, I would have to pay for the test they said to do. I am now stuck with a bill for $988.83. I am retired and on Social Security for income. I say that car shield should pay since they ordered the test. Now I have no car repaired and I’m stuck with a huge bill. I say car shield should pay in the TV ads. It sounds so good but in reality it is a way for them to con people.

have contacted them to obtain information on the repair claim you have
referenced. Per ***, your vehicle was initially diagnosed with a bad water pump and after repairs vehicle wouldn't start. RDI was performed and your engine was going to have low compression due to burnt intake valve(s) caused by carbon deposits. Also, vehicle showed collision damage and was totaled by insurance company on 3/20/2023, the day before claim was called in.

Adjudication was correct for water pump and for denial of engine repair due to carbon buildup. Section D, 11 of your contract states THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF VALVES AND/OR PISTON RINGS FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING THE ENGINE’S COMPRESSION OR CORRECTING OIL CONSUMPTION, STICKING OR STUCK RINGS, WHEN MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN OR FAILURE HAS NOT OCCURRED, INCLUDING WHEN SUCH CONDITION RESULTS FROM EXCESSIVE CARBON BUILD-UP.

In June of 2022 I purchased the package from carshield to protect my 2014 Buick. at the time I know I signed up for total coverage of my car which included the engine. unfortunately my engine failed on me and I had to have it replaced. this cost me $8,000. according to the contract with car Shield i was to pay $100 deductible and they will cover the rest. instead I wound up getting three different credit cards credit loans to pay to retrieve my car after the engine was replaced. I have talked with them I have emailed them and they seem to ignore me and the only thing they want is for me to pay pay pay but you did they did not honor their contract

I have had I think 4 contracts with this company and never need to file any claims until this most recent contract. I bought my daughter a 2016 Dodge Dart and signed up for the highest level of "PROTECTION" that was offered from CarShield. The total after taxes was $2,474 and some change. It was coverage for UP to ******* odometer miles or until ****, whichever comes first. As of a few days ago, my daughter was hit in an accident, hurt and had the car totaled. I have since had the contract PAID IN FULL with no further money due. For obvious reasons I no longer need that coverage on the vehicle, it is a total loss and will be going to the scrap yard. I take the needed steps to cancel the contract, the vehicle only has ****** miles on the odometer when totaled and it is supposed to be covered up to ******* miles and until ****. It is only 2023. I should be getting a decent amount of the $2,474 refunded, so I thought. They tell me I am barely getting over $700 back and they are keeping $1,700 of my refund because we had to file for 2 repairs. They NEVER explain that it works this way when the sell you the contract. They essentially don't actually protect you AT ALL. If you ever file a claim, if you ever cancel the REQUIRE you to pay them back for anything paid out as a repair. They paid $900 in repairs and they are taking that $900 out of my refund due. So they are charging me to offer me "PROTECTION" but they are taking the money they paid out BACK so in reality I was never protected. They are keeping a huge portion of the contract price that I paid AND never actually paying a claim because they are deducting it from my refund. They paid $900 in repair claims, which was 2 trips to the shop. I paid $200 in deductibles and $2,475 in contract costs, After 2 years and barely ****** miles they are refunding barely over $700.Those 2 repairs now have now cost me $1,700 + $200 = $1,900 and it cost CarShield $0 because they force me to pay back the claims.

I was with Carshield for 2 years and they never fixed anything on my car. They gave me the runaround. When I tried to cancel them, they kept on telling me they could give me a better deal but they wouldn't fix anything on my car.
