We have been paying for this service since May of 2020. We have used them 1 time since and it was a battle just to get a repair paid for. Now we have a gas line leak and AC not blowing cold air....they are not covering anything. I'm tired of being ripped off every month paying ****** a month and not getting anything from this. This is highway robbery and I'm tired of it. This place lies and tells you that they fix a lot of things on your car depending on what level you qualify for...which is another issue, they will not allow you to move to another policy period. I want these things on my vehicle fixed!!!!! If I don't not get these small items fixed which is under ****** I will cancel and report bad reviews on every freaking platform. I'm done playing cames and being robbed monthly! I need a resolution ASAP!Business Response

As noted on the first three pages of your vehicle service contract, ******************** (AAS) is the administrator of your vehicle service contract and has FULL authority over repair procedures, approvals, denials and payments. We have contacted them to obtain information on the repair claim you have referenced. Per AAS, all the reported failures on your vehicle are not listed for coverage except for potential AC failure. A list of covered components can be found in Section B of your contract. Your chose repair facility has recharged the system and has injected dye. There are no further charges for AC repair at this time. If a coverable AC failure is found coverage can be applied, but as of right now it seems that your repair facility just performed an evac and recharge and that has at least temporarily resolved your concern.
If you have any additional questions regarding your claim, please contact AAS directly at ************. As the contract administrator and obligated party under the contract, they will be happy to answer any additional claim questions you may have.
We see that ******************** has authorized over $2,220.00 in previous claims. We appreciate your business and look forward to helping out with future covered repairs.

I am rejecting this response because: the gas line should be covered by our policy. It's on the quote that ************ had noted. We want this paid for over the ** that you of course cover because it's the cheapest fix. Please see attached quote from my mechanic. If the gas line is not covered per the policy we have, cancel our membership and we will go elsewhere and I will make sure to leave negative reviews EVERYWHERE!!!

I’ve had Car Shield now for 12 months. I had a problem with my vehicle and called car shield only to hear that they are not able to fix my van. They were taking my money up until 8/18 without notifying me. If I didn't call today 8/28 I wouldn't have known about the problems other client's we're having. I would like to have a full refund for the amount of money they took from me which is around $1000. This amount was debited from my checking account in the amount of 89.99 monthly. This business committed to provide an extended warranty on my 2019 Kia Optima. Under the warranty it included the engine. My engine is going out and the company requested for me to send all documentation to show that I kept up the maintenance, I emailed all requested documentation showing that all maintenance was kept up since 2019 until now, I also submitted documentation from the Kia dealer to show that there were no leaks and there was an oil consumption test performed and there was no issue. The warranty company denied the claim and refused to fix the vehicle stating that it was a pre existing issue from 2022. I've had no problems with my car and my car has never been in a shop for any issues besides routine maintenance. The warranty company continued to say that since every time I took the car in for an oil change that the oil was low is the reason that they denied it which in all the reason for an oil change is when the oil is low. My car informs me on when an oil change is needed. I've paid this company every month on time and I've never missed a payment. They still refuse to pay to get the car fixed. A shop that they sent me to confirmed that it was a compression issue and it is not something that I caused and was not pre existing. A compression issue would not have lasted from April 2022 until August 2023 without ever going to the shop and I drive the car everyday. I would like a total refund for the money that I paid to them or a repair of my car since the warranty was supposed to cover this issue. I spoke with the warranty company today on 8/28/23 and the shop that it was taken to was ** *** **** ****** in which they confirmed there was no issue after I expressed concerns about the oil and the show * *** * ********** which informed me of the compression issue. Car Shield told them that the engine needs to be torn down to see what is the reason for the burning oil and that would cost me thousands to get.Business Response

contract, ******** **** ****** ***** is the administrator
of your vehicle service contract and has FULL authority over repair procedures,
approvals, denials and payments. We have contacted them to obtain
information on the repair claim you have referenced. Per ***, your claim was opened for engine failure. The records provided the failure to be a pre existing condition, operation of vehicle with low oil level, and strongly indicates a failure due to carbon buildup. Your belief that the oil level wasn't low, only that low oil level is normal and just means it is time for an oil change is incorrect. Your vehicle is consuming roughly 4 quarts of oil for every 6k miles. This is very excessive and indicates issues with piston rings. While it is unlikely, there would be a possibility for coverage if there wasn't evidence the vehicle has been excessively consuming oil since well before contract purchase. We see that you have already cancelled your contract. As a courtesy, CarShield will refund your payments in full upon execution of a

We purchased a car warranty on June 21,2023 over the phone. The person selling the warranty quoted us coverage in 30 days or 250 miles. When we filed a claim 60 days later it was denied and we were told it was 30 days and 250 miles. We asked for a copy of the recording of the call and we were told to get a subpoena. The woman from customer service also said 30 days or 250 miles and then denied it. This is a bait and switch. They take your payment over the phone which makes the contract binding even though they haven’t told the truth.Business Response
