I have a warranty with Carshield and I took my car to *************************** ******** for an estimate on or about December 14, 2023. The dealer immediately called Carshield and filed a claim and sent the all the required information. It is now January ********* have no resolutuon to my car repairs. It is my understanding that Carshield is going to repair some items, but now they are haggling the dealership about the parts to use. This is completely unacceptable. Carshield also required me to have the dealer completely break the engine down for an out of pocket cost of $600.00 I have a ******** **** that requires the best parts to fix the car. If Carshield does not want to fix ******** then why did they allow me to sign up for the plan with them? Now the dealer is telling me that they may not do the work because Carshield is delaying the process. My car has an engine/camshaft issue, and a turbo issue and I want both of these repiars done ASAP. I need my car back. Please help. If Carshield des not want to cover the items, then I want a complete refund of all the premiums I have paid.

vehicle alternator needed to be replaced. Car Shield would only agree to pay for a refurbished replacement instead of a new alternator. In addition the bad alternator caused the destruction of a battery & a belt that had been replaced 2 years prior which would have lasted more than 2 years had it not been for the bad alternator which was covered un der the policy.

Done rite showed up and took my car to a place they recommended and use ************************************************ well the first time my car was in the shop for 8 days car shield went out and test drove my car and they said there was nothing wrong with my car, so apparently the auto shop did a diagnostic and the car was fine but the mechanic said it was not so I had to pay $149 for the diagnostic to get my car. A week and a half later the car started acting up again the mechanic sent an estimate to fix the car mind you my car has been at the shop 6 days so far, car shield said they need **************************************************************************************************************************** the oil. Whats next? I need my car fixed I dont have any transportation and have to take public transportation to work 2 buses. I have to wait in the dark for the bus to come. The bad part is these people have actors promoting there company ******************* and Ice tea on television to make you think its a worthy company!

Jan 5,2024 I called to cancel my car shield account, i was asked if i would be willing to stay on plan if i was offered a lower price, i said no, i was asked if they lowered plan to $99.00, i said no, i want to cancel plan and have money refunded which was taken out of my account Jan 5,2024 afternoon. I was told to call back Monday January 8,2023 to talk to supervisor so they could issue a refund, i called 12:15 pm, talked to 2 reps, i was told that i was covered until February 5,2024, that there will be no refund given, I said i’d like to speak to supervisor, i was told i would be on a return call, and then She hung up the phone. I called back, a man rep answered, gave me the same message and hung up. received a call back while out, i was given another number to call to speak to supervisor, instead i was directed to another man representative, I explained the last 3 calls, He said that all he could do is cancel the plan, i told him that the lady rep said she had cancelled plan, He said no mam it is still active, so he said he’d cancel plan, but before doing so, asked if i would stay in plan if he lowered plan price, i said no, he kept lowering plan price, $120.00, no, i said cancel plan, i would not even keep it at $20.00 a month, He asked me if he could be at any other service? I said yes, a supervisor to talk to, mam you do not need to talk to supervisor for you were already told there will be no refund, I said to have supervisor return my call. He hung up. So I am suppose to accept being taken for $139.99 for a plan that was to be cancelled.

On April 10, 2023 I called Carshield on behalf of my Father, ***************************. I was his POA at the time the policy was put into effect and at the time this phone call was placed. My Father was in my presence when I spoke with Carshield personnel. I advised the person on the phone that my Father did not want to continue with this vehicle warranties and cancelled the policies We cancelled all Carshield policies on that date. My Father passed away on December 19, 2023 and on January 4, ****, while looking at his bank account transaction history, it was discovered that Carshield did not discontinue pulling money out of my ************* account, but continued to take $148.39 out of his account monthly. When I called Carshield and spoke with ******, he refused to let me speak with his supervisor regarding Carshield continuing to withdraw money out of my ************* account, stating they were busy doing other things. ****** also stated that the policy would be cancelled but there would be no refund. It is noted in his account records that he was signed up in March and I called and cancelled it on 4/10/23. I feel that Carshield targets and exploits the elderly population and request an investigation into their business practices and a full refund to be deposited into the same bank account that the money was withdrawn from, which has been left to his wife, to whom I am her ***** of *********

I purchased carshield for my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 Bighorn Crew cab 3 years ago mileage was just under 90k presently at 117076 Jan. 5th 2024 at 129.99 a month. I paid in close to 5k and twice my truck needed to go into the shop for repairs. First time was for a throttle body fuel line which they said was not covered under warranty so I bought it and put it in myself. Just recently back in November I had a smog issue check engine light codes came up emissions. They said my warranty did not cover emissions but, did cover the bushings in the sway bar so I had the dealership let them do it . By carshield not honoring the warranty they did not cover the car rental I had to purchase for 3 days. 200 dollar deposit and for the three days about 260.00 out of pocket. Carshield did not cover diagnostic which also came out of pocket and still have emissions check engine light on which am now past renewal for registration because carshield did not honor anything my truck needed to clear emissions for a smog check. All of which at the time of purchasing the warranty I was told covered all of those items I stated that they didn't cover. So, as I was letting them know I was going to cancel their warranty they offered me to put emissions on my warranty at no money out of pocket but, the damage was already done. I told them that emissions should have already been part of my warranty truck was in and out of shop and not fixed still. After I cancelled the warranty days later they emailed me saying I was approved of items the shop listed for repairs. Yeah, a little to late to make up for now when it all should have been taking care of when it was in the shop for three days on top of the car rental I paid for. I asked for a refund and they said No., we don't refund .

I was told to make a complaint from one of the car****** representative because they're not honoring the contract in that's a breach of contract. Someone reached out to me about two weeks ago stating that my claim was approved, and then she called me back saying that they denied the claim because i didn't approve for the dealership to run a diagnostic test. I contacted them back, letting them know i did take my vehicle to another company in had the diagnostic test done, and no codes were coming up ,so it was no work for the mechanic to fix. The mechanic told me everything looked good on my vehicle, and my oil levels were good. According to car******, they're denying my claim now because I heard my vehicle make a noise that i did address, which was the reason for me getting the diagnostic test done to begin with. I did everything i was supposed to do on my end with my vehicle. I kept up with the upkeeping on my vehicle, and they have the documentation from the dealership showing that. I think it's very unfair how car****** is trying to every reason to not honor the contract. I would like for this issue to be resolved by them fixing my vehicle.

I am rejecting this response because: This company have gave me several different reasons why the couldn't honor the contract on theirs end. This is considered a breach in the contract on their end. I didn't ignored anything on my end that was the reason for me getting the 2nd diagnostic which clearly stated no codes where coming up and that the unknown issue was out of my control.

I've had CarShield for a few months now, shortly after my car stop working. After taken it to multiple shops and no answers. The last shop figured out it was the engine that needed replaced. The warranty I have covers my engine also the adjuster agreed it was also my engine. Now instead of paying for it CarShield is stating they won't cover it due to my vehicle not being registered and that's why my claim was denied. Although I explained I lost the title and was in the process of a bonded title when it broke down. I was granted my bonded title but did not want to register it until I knew the vehicle was fixable. I offered to get it registered the next day and had proof of my paperwork for the purchase. Anywho the basically found any reason not to cover the damages , I even asked for a refund for the months I've been purchasing this warranty & the representative said it wouldn't be a guarantee, she was suppose to transfer me but hung up. Even after the terrible reviews I decided to give them a try and I wish I wouldn't honestly. The adjuster took weeks to find any reason to deny my claim.
