1 starI am astounded that Express scripts is even in business. I am curious as to why or how Christis became involved with them. Since day one over year ago the customer service folks are nice but no training none. I just called the you lady told me my employer decides which of my medicines are covered here is the kicker I dont get my insurance thru my job, As I asked if she could have someone call me before I made the decision to change my whole insurance at end of Dec. I was told no Mam we dont have any call back department. I had explained I needed to get back to work. So I had originally called because the same medicine I got last month now this month they are cancelling because I need prior authorization. I dont like change but Im fixing to have to leave Christus health plan because of their partnership with Express scripts. Its bad that I cant change to zero starsReview fromMargaret A

1 starI had a very disappointing experience with this company. I ordered medication, but it never arrived. In a rush, I had to go to ******* to get an emergency refill. Weeks later, I finally received a package, but it contained the wrong medication. When I called customer service to ask how to return it, I was told they do not accept returns. Now, Im stuck with 90 pills of medication I dont need and still dont have my prescribed medication.Tomorrow, Ill need to figure out how to resolve this issue caused by their *************** add to my frustration, I chose to try their service because my HR team mentioned I could save 30% on my refills. Since my medication costs $43 monthly, I thought the potential savings were worth it. However, I later realized that even if they had sent the correct medication, the savings would only be $5 over three monthsfar from worth the hassle Ive endured.Review fromAllie G

1 starExpress Scripts is the worst pharmaceutical organization I have ever dealt with. They don't explain about their coverages because they don't want to have to pay anything out of their pockets. Their customer service is a joke to deal with, half the time you cannot understand what the person is saying. The drug that they dictate themselves on how much they are going to cover does not coincide with the methods that are supposed to be followed with the drug. They will only cover an eight-month supply of Wegovy and if additional dosages are needed, they only cover for the dosages for maintaining the weight loss. (1.7 or 2.4)My doctor and I discussed going down on the medication gradually as that was the best plan of action my doctor said was the best. Express Scripts will not allow this, in order for any dosages to be covered after 8 dosages (months) you have to go on the 1.7 or 2.4 dosages and STAY THERE. They do not care if there is a lapse in coverage WHICH is not recommended for this drug. They do not tell anyone of these stipulations and definitely do not explain anything to assist the patient. I plan on reporting them to the *** and to the MANY OTHER organizations that have filed lawsuits against them too. I would think a pharmaceutical company would want to see someone weaned off this medication rather than keep them on the 1.7 or 2.4 dosage with costs more than taking the lower dosages to evidently quit all together. Shame on you express scripts, get some training for your staff and classes for your people to better serve your customers.Review fromPhilip B

1 starAccredo Pharmacy is the most dysfunctional pharmacy I have ever experience. They are consistently fouling up my prescription, can never get to the right person. It takes on average, 1 hour and 15 minutes to get through their convoluted phone system, being transferred to the wrong person at least 5 times before you get to the right person. Then, when you get to the right person, that representative still gets the order screwed up. Prompting me to waste another few hours over 3 days trying to get it right. Service at Accredo is worse than the cable company.Review fromLaura S

1 starZero stars. Express Scripts has put my life in danger every month by not refilling my prescriptions on time. For example, I went three months without my heart medication, four months without my migraine medicine I spend an hour per day on average talking or otherwise on the phone with them trying to resolve problems. The government or some other oversight or regulatory body should investigate this business. Everyone I know has had similar experiences with this pharmacy. Their main problem is that they dont let you refill a prescription until you have only 1-3 days left. Then you have to call ON that exact day, they tell you to call your doctor for an emergency temporary supplywhich you pay for out-of-pocketthen take what they claim will be 7-10 business days for you to receive it but in reality it could be 3-4 weeks, sometimes never. This is a dangerous business. I am required to get all of my routine medicines through them, and every refill the same things happen. They are always quick to ask if youd like to speak with a pharmacist about the side effects of withdrawal or absence of taking the medicine. Im well familiar with them; it invariably means that I will miss work or end up in the ** or getting an emergency supply (if possible) directly from my doctor. This is a terrible business.Review fromCody M

1 starCalled 6 times to get issued resolved on an account that is inactive. I was on hold for 4 hours and 13 min 57 sec. Called on another phone and stated on hold. I recorded every call!! No one knew what to do. 2 people said my account was active 2 said it wasn't. (It's not) my pharmacy and state insurance BOTH told me to call them bc they are a 3rd party liability. They acted like I needed to call anyone else not them. I spoke with a supervisor. She was terrible, and transferred me to wellcare member services just to get off the phone (which I do not have insurance with) lol This place is a scam and thes reviews say it all. This need to be shut down and I will give them my recordings. I have names and times, everything. One lady said too much is all I will say.Review fromDanielle S

1 starMy insurance requires I have continuous use medication Rxs ordered via mail in 90 day supply using Express Scripts. It is always a hassle to have it ordered or refilled. The doctors send it electroncally, via fax or call it in and Express Sccipts keep saying they do not have any records of it.I have been calling them 3 times a week for the past 3 weeks trying to solve the issue from 2 different doctors and Express Scripts keep saying the doctors are not sending anything to them, even though I have proof they ****** seems they are trying to make it all difficult so the year will end and the deductibles re-set.Express Scripts is a nightmare! It's been a month and both my daughter and I are out of our meds!Review fromSherry G

1 star0 stars. I absolutely hate this carrier. First off my husband was getting a prescription at a pharmacy for his heart medication for $25.00. We went to pick up the rx and we are told now its $400. I was told to call the pharmacy carrier and that they had notes that stated this pharmacy was out of network and to have the prescription transferred to CVS who was a network pharmacy and I would get the medication at the $25.00 price. I did that and the prescription went to up $589.00. *** stated that only had the brand version. I explained to them what I was told they was not trying help said contact the pharmacy carrier. I did that 3 times. One agent wanted to talk to me like I was stupid. I had to let her know, I understand very well and obviously you are not listening. They keep saying this prescription is a specialty drug and has to be a 90 day supply. Had we known this we would had contacted his doctor beforehand. Requested a supervisor she said they could override it and she got permission to do so for a 1 month supply until we got to his incompetent doctors office. She said call CVs back and tell them to reprocess the prescription .I called CVS back they said it was still showing the same price. Called this place express scripts back and spoke to another supervisor he said the request was not submitted correctly and that he had to submit it the right way for approval. They called today said the benefits manager denied the request to override. Yet they have the freaking audacity to ask do you have enough supply to last , no and do you want to speak with a pharmacist about the effects of him not having his medication. We know the effects very well thats why Im pushing to get this supply until we can get to his doctor for the 90 supply. This company dont care about the patients at all. They ask these questions only to say theres nothing they can do, pushing a 90 day supply. Ill be advising my employer this is how the company they choose treats their employees.Review fromNikki H

1 starI was forced by **** to use this company or pay more and be inconvenienced. Walk-in pharmacy would only do 21 days, Express Scripts would do 90. I finally decided to try it with my daughter's meds. Huge mistake. The Rx's never came. She ran out of one that gave her horrible withdraws. I ended up picking her up from school with a rapid heartrate and high *** Dizzy and panicking. When I called ES to see where the meds were, (ordered Nov. 1, called Nov. 12) they told me they had not sent them because there was an issue. When asked why they didn't call me, they said they didn't have my number. Such a load of ***t. I have an account with them, they have the doctor's name that turned in the Rx, and no one can make a phone call to get my number? Send an email or a letter for crying out loud. They had my address. Long story short, I had to get the Rx from my local pharmacy but the drug is controlled and needed to override it. Was a huge hassle. ES said they would one-day deliver it but I didn't trust them. Glad I trusted my gut because it never came. I had to call again a week later. ********* is leaving this company at the end of the year. Not one person there cares if someone lives, dies or suffers due to the complete lack of professionalism from all parties. Lack of problem solving skills and basic understanding of what they're mistakes do to people. I would gladly pay more to avoid this company. I am also shocked at the amount of issues listed here that are falling on deaf ears. This company should be shut down. If you have meds that your life depends on, or that cause immediate side affects when stopped cold-turkey, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It will be detrimental to your health.Review fromBarbara H

1 starWhen I transfered my prescriptions from Krogers to Express Scripts I never once thought I should first read BBB reviews. My only goal was too obtain my daily prescriptions without having to stand in line at ******* for up to an hour sometimes. I'm 63 with Congestive Heart Failure, COPD and I have a pain stimulator in my lower back to help with my back and nerve problems. Standing/walking limitations are the only reason I wanted to transfer to delivery. Having said that I'm shocked we allow these processes to happen in the ***. I've spent the last 3 hours begging someone to help me. Once I was placed on hold for 28 minutes before I finally hung up (I have a screen shot for proof 28 mins hold time). I repeatedly begged for them to correct their mistakes and ship my medications. They either processed the incorrect MG or they just automatically archived my medication. It was something wrong with each and every prescription I requested. One was a simple antibiotic. Five minutes before closing time I called Krogers and asked them to pull my prescriptions back and allow me to pick them up 1st thing tomorrow morning which the Pharmacist replied "sure no problem". Express Scripts is dangerous and should never be allowed to treat our sick people which have no way of obtaining medications. After reading all of BBB's reviews I'm wondering what purpose they serve since apparently they have done little if anything about everyone's problems. Some of our medications are life threatening! To be treated like this from Express Scripts then logging on here to discover BBB is completely aware...makes me sick to my stomach. This is not acceptable to and for anyone. Hopefully tomorrow I can contact TN governor **** *** and Senator ****** ********* and beg them for help. After discovering Express Scripts Pharmacist and employees work outside of ***************** I suggest shutting them down. I'm also sincerely disappointed in BBB.
