1 starIve never been treated so poorly by a business in my life. The manager, ******* ******, was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional from the start. I was stranded 4 hours from home with 4 kids, 2 dogs, and luggage, and he refused to help because I didnt have a credit card even though I used my debit card for the original rental and was never told I couldnt.Instead of helping, he talked over me, ignored my explanation, and eventually called security when I asked for help not a supervisor. I ended up having to rent a U-Haul at 3x the price and later had a seizure from stress and heat, ending up in the hospital. This man should not be in a customer-facing role. Ive worked in customer service for 25 years and was truly shocked by how I was treated.******* ****** not only needs a serious ****** in basic customer service and respectful communication, but also in professional appearance. If youre going to represent yourself as a manager, you should look the part. Showing up in a wrinkled, unbuttoned, untucked shirt that looked like it had been slept in only reinforced the lack of professionalism he displayed in every aspect of our interaction.Enterprise do better.Review fromCharlie M

2 starsI rented a ********** Eclipse SUV from Enterprise between June 2 and June 8 at the airport in ********, **. On the morning of June 6, when trying to start up the car, we found that the car wouldn't start. We contacted Enterprise and a *** agent was sent to our location. He jump-started the car, recommended that we frequently drive the car to keep the battery charged, and told us that the battery was shot and struggling to hold a charge. In addition, for the next few days, the car had occasional loud beeping sounds, although there were no warning indicators on the dashboard.Upon returning the car on June 8, Enterprise management refunded the *** charge (which shouldn't have been charged to me in the first place, since it was an issue with the product that I received) and two days of the rental. While I'm thankful for this, I do not believe I was properly compensated for the headache and low-quality vehicle that I received. We had to alter our vacation plans and spend hours resolving this issue instead of enjoying our vacation. The expectation when renting a vehicle should be that it is fully functional. I'm not asking for a full refund, but I believe it is reasonable to be compensated more than two days because this issue cost us hours of vacation time to ************** 2 stars instead of 1, because the other rental we had was a good experience.Review fromJan S

1 starI went to rent a car for a road trip to ******* from *****, I got the car from the rental office, and it once I started driving to *******, I found the tire pressure goes down every time I stop for gas, so I have to fill up the tires as well.First time I called the customer service, and they said that they will find me a car to swap with the one I got, but no response.Second time I called the customer service, the agent told me to go to a specific location to swap my car. When I went to this location, the manager told me that she have no available cars now, and I have to go to the Airport location to swap my car ( All that waste of time and not even safe to drive on the road with a faulty car). The **** manager said whatever it is, there is no car for me here, and looks like Ill spend the week from a location to location to find a vehicle.I called the customer service again and they said that I should have priority as I already have a car, but it is not safe to drive, and she said that she will escalate the issue to the higher management that they make sure I get a car and yet two days later NO *********** IS THE WORST RENTAL COMPANY WITH THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WORST TEAMS IN THE LOCATIONS STARTING FROM THE GUYS WHO GAVE ME A FAULTY CAR TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS TO THE MANAGEMENT WHO DID NOTHING.I DONT RECOMMEND OR WILL USE THEIR SERVICES ANY MOREReview fromAmr S

1 starI wanted to express my displeasure with your location in *********** and your ************************ I had booked a vehicle for one week starting Saturday at ****. I received a phone call the day before to confirm. I arrived at the location at approximately 12:05 or earlier and the door was locked. When I found an attendant outside, I was told they were closed and they don't even have a vehicle for me. At no time was I advised they close at noon when I received a phone call the day before. To make a remark they have no vehicles is unprofessional. To tell a customer they are closed and they can't help them is another level of poor service. I had to make arrangements to get to the location and then I had to make arrangements to get back home. I had many errand to complete that day and this caused me significant issues. In addition to this, I contacted your customer service department and they apologised. They assured me someone would call me from another location to provide me with another vehicle. I never recieved a call. These issues are a poor reflection of your organization and I will never rent from Enterprise again.Review fromKim P

1 starOne star is generous! Reserved a car 6 months ago and confirmed twice the week of pick up only to be told 2 hours prior to pick up that it would be delayed but would definitely be available by the time we needed to leave. Only to find out that there were no vehicles available anywhere in the area.Review fromNathan B.

1 starDO NOT use Enterprise car rental or buy/rent ANY ****** Rogue. Was on a trip through the ************* in 110 heat with three adults and two little girls and the ****** Rogue we rented from Enterprise broke down on the highway after about an hour of total travel. Enterprise would NOT send a tow truck, ****, or any other help. THEY LEFT US STRANDED IN THE DESERT. The highway patrol there confirms this reoccurring problem that Enterprise is continuously leaving customers stranded in dead vehicles. They wanted us to call California Highway Patrol and have them drive us in police vehicles 80 miles to the nearest enterprise rental car and get a new car, all of which would have been closed by the time we arrived. They would not send an **** because they lied to us that **** cant pick us up on the side of the road. Our destination was *********--their closest 24-hour-enterprise---and the AAA tow truck driver who ended up helping us said he would have had to drive the busted ****** to the ********* Enterprise anyway. They would not send us towards our destination, but all other directions East, West, and South from which we would have come and would have taken longer than getting to our destination. Stupid. All they had to do was send an agent out with a new car to their broken-door car, get us on our way, and take care of it on their end later. Our impression was that they stalled to make us pay to tow their car, which we did, having no choice. They were prepared to stall us out in the desert to not have to pay for us to complete the trip we rented their car for. They told us we couldnt leave their vehicle; that is, they cared more about their broken ****** than our lives in the remote desert. The ****** Rogue only had ****** miles of it when it busted. AAA, however, saved the day, I recommend you get them for auto insurance or keep them if you have them. They picked us up before Enterprise even had a tow truck lined up. *** had no problem towing us to *********.Review fromNathaniel S.

1 starTwice this week, on the days of my designated rental car pickup, this company called to inform me that my pickup time would be delayed. The first time was due to (supposedly) proper tires which needed to be installed on my designated vehicle. This occurred on Tuesday, June 17th. My travel for that day was work-related with my work being time-sensitive. I canceled my work due to this delay, thus forcing me to lose money. The second time occurred today, June 19th. While this travel today isn't work-related, a *** at the Enterprise office informed me that there was a shortage of vehicles for renters, even though I had made the reservation 2 days ago. I would like to know what criteria this particular rental car location uses for customers to pick up their rental cars in a timely manner. Does it have to do with the time of day for the pickup? Or is someone locally simply disorganized in their reservation procedures and protocol? Needless to say, I'm very dissatisfied with the recent performance of employees at this location. For years prior to this week, everything went smoothly. Now, there are issues.Review fromHope M

1 starI rented a car from Enterprise car rental in *********** ************** for the 11th -13. I was getting ready to leave to pick up my car. They called me and told me when I was walking out my door to pick up my rental. They called just 30 minutes before pick up to tell me they had no cars for me. 30 minutes is not much notice on that same day to make arrangements for another car rental at another place. I have been with Enterprise for 5 years renting, and since they let me down I have decided to take my business elsewhere. If they had give me more notice I could have worked something else out. I no longer have confidence in them. For all I know this may happen again. Yes I realize Enterprise does it really care about my complete or how badly I was treated. But I will tell you this, they have lost all credibility with meReview fromJohn S

1 starI wanted to understand charges and person on phone identified herself as Branch Manager in *******, **. She put me on hold 2 times and when I called back the third, she said she was too busy to assist. When I asked if she could call me back when she wasn't busy, she stated she could not guarantee she would call me back. This was an insurance referral. Terrible CSR and will certainly complain to my insurance carrier...they should not have had me rent a car from Enterprise, after seeing all the negative reviews. Too much to type...but this is the gist. I now have charges I dont know what they are for.Review fromEmily D

1 starRented and checked in online last night because my car decided the rear door is no longer going to close and my mechanic can't get to it till the 23. I had to rent to try to get my daughter to prom today and her graduation tomorrow. They told me they might be able to get a car for me by 3pm tomorrow. Graduation is at 8:30 am. I feel they pulled an online bait and switch!
