I recently paid off my account and I have a savings account that I was supposed to be able to access upon repayment . I paid off my account on 1/20/23 . I was told my savings would be sent to my checking account but I still haven’t received it . I keep getting told the transaction is pending with now clear date for deposit . I feel this is unacceptable and I should know when I will get the savings as I need it to take of other obligations.

This complaint is in regards to a personal loan that I originally took out through ****** which was always paid on time as agreed and has since been transferred to SST Service Systems Technologies Inc. loan number 41175506. While in SST’s care I have since paid the loan off in full on 2/3/23 the balance of 1435.65. Part of the original loan agreement with ****** was I would be given 2000.00 upon signing the loan agreement and another 2000 plus interest upon paying the loan off this money would be direct deposited to my checking account on file within 5-7 days. As of today 2/13/23 i have not recieved the 2000 plus interest and phone calls to this company have had no resolution to this.. I have also requested politely to speak to a supervisor many times which they refuse to do I was told one would call me which never happens.

I paid my loan off Jan 13, 2022. I paid off the loan early and actually overpaid by $10.00 dollars. Total owed me from SST amounts to $2256.68. I have contacted SST excess of 16 times regarding my $2256.68 Savings reimbursement only to hear bogus answers with zero resolve. Originally the loan started with **** ** and was turned over to SST. I did reach out to **** ** and their unconcerned response was, "It is out of our hands."

Below is what i sent to the lender and have not got a response.
I want you to stop sending that I am late to the credit bureaus. I have spoke with someone on several occasions and nobody seems to know why I keep getting charged a late fee every single payment I make and still get it when I pay more. I am going to contact Consumer Protection Also every time I make a payment I get a notice to contact you so I do and they don’t know why I get that notice. So when you have a late payment then you should get a notice and it sent to the reporting places but you continue to claim that I am late all the time. Have contacted several people but nobody is on the same page. I should also let you know reporting late payments is illegal and i am currently disputing this account. Reported to the attorney generals office.

I am rejecting this response because: everything they said was not true. They have made big errors with my loan and i have called them so many times and sent emails that nobody responded to even once. I do not owe late fees as those were removed when they had made one of those errors such as i was on auto pay and they didn’t take a pmnt from my account for 2 weeks. I called them and the person there found that they had been charging my old checking with **** and i have been with ******* *** for way over a year and they had been taking pmnts from ******* *** so why they tried **** is a mystery. They also said they would remove the late pmnts but never did. I missed a few pmnts but always paid double pmnts on the next pmnt.

I started a barrow and grow loan with ****** last year(2022) for $3000. I was given $750 upfront and $2250 was going into savings. Then my loan was transferred to SST at the end of 2022. I paid off my entire loan on 1/21/2023 called in and gave my account and routing number to the rep on 1/23/2023 was told that it would take 14 days to payout my savings. Called back on 2/8/2023 which was my 14days and gave my accountvand routing info again then was told it would take another 7 days. So I called back today 2/13/23 and was told that I provided my info on 2/8/2023 which was for the 2nd time because I still hadn't received my money for my loan that I paid off. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that one wasn't available. So the rep continue to tell me that since I provided my information on 2/8/2023 I have to wait an additional 14days for my payout. This is truly a inconvenience to me because I need my money. I will never recommend nor do business with SST ever again in life. I feel like this is a lawsuit that needs to be pursued. I am beyond frustrated at this point and just want what is owed to me that is all.

This company is holding my savings account and will not release it to me. I have called several times and they told me wait 30 days well it’s been well over 30 days and I no longer want to wait. I paid everything off so they can release my saving account and they won’t and that’s not right. How can I get these people to give me my money

This complaint is in regards to a personal loan that I originally took out through ****** as of December 2021. They have now transferred to SST Service Systems Technologies Inc. While in SST's care I have since paid of my loan as of 1/20/23 for the amount of $1637.90 and was told that my savings $1,399 will be released within 10-15 business days. I have called numerous times asking when they will be releasing my savings and every time they can not seem to give me a straight answer. This is unacceptable and I would like my savings sent to my bank account ASAP!

      Bank Name: ***** ***** **** Savings Account Number (Last 4): **** Balance as Of 01/12/2023: $1,671.96

I have called on 3 different occasions and during my last call today, I was advised that I still had a 70.00 balance due. and based on the documents I have attached, my balance is zero.

The last person I had a conversation with also stated that once my account shows zero, I wouldn't get my savings balance sent to me until after that...which means it will amount to about 30 days.

I will be seeking legal counsel, I have asked on 3 different occasions to speak with a manager and I was refused that opportunity to do so.

This company practice on refunding savings balance cant be legal in how they handle it.

I have paid off my account on Jan 30th. They said that it would take 14 days to close my account and eventually receive my savings money of 2500.00 . I just think this is crazy practice. If i were one day late, this company would send 6 emails, several phone calls trying to collect there money. Now when I have satisfied my end of the bargain. There like whoa whoa wait a min. Its going to take 14 days to get anything started.

In December of 2022 SST took over servicing of the Borrow and Grow loan. I have made multiple attempts to contact sst by phone to no avail. My payments were to be due on the 1st of every month in the amount of $200. My account was debited $200 on 1Dec22, 31Dec22 & again on 1Jan23. I noticed & was unable to reach SST by phone. My account information online showed I was not due again until March. Imagine my suprise when I was also debited on 31Jan23 & again on 1Feb23 after being lead to believe that i wasn't due again until march. It now shows 30April23 after having 2 more payments debited, which were only due once on the 1st. I do not believe my balance remaining to be accurate, nor do I believe my payoff to be accurate either after having 5 payments debited since 1Dec22 for $1000 total. Only 1 automatic debit was authorized for SST each month, in the amount of $200 on the 1st of every month. I also have no faith that the payments will stop being debited upon my paying off the loan.

I am rejecting this response because: Since receiving the response thru BBB, I recieved an automated email from SST suggesting my account was not current & that I should set up automated payments again. As they stated, I set up automated payments because after they took over I recieved a similar email stating I needed to set up automated payments. There is still nothing showing whether or not the original automated payment has actually been canceled thru ***** ***** **** as was infered when SST took over, nor have i received any of the additional documentation which I requested dating back to the loan origination. As the limited communication I have recieved from SST continues to be deceptive in misrepresenting what actions are required by me, the borrower & I am still unable to contact SST directly the minimum action they have taken is not satisfactory.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: while i understand this is a simple interest loan, i had to pull money from other parts of my budget including preparing for the arrival of my unborn child due to the inconsistent emails & inability to get in contact with SST on my own to remedy the issues. As i had tried calling and emailing prior to reaching out thru BBB, i am not satisfied that I am paying more interest on this loan when the fault was not mine, i was simply following instructions received in automated emails related to the the transition from ****** to sst. I did as i was directed to do and dont believe the consequence is mine to bear. As i have continued to get automated emails directing me to set up automatic payments as these communications thru BBB have been on-going, i also believe the issue is systemic to the way SST does business. The automated emails are written in a way to incite action as if the account was past due or possibly in collections when the account is actually current. I chose to do business with ****** because of their customer service. I did not choose to do business with SST nor would I again.

Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. If you choose to do business with this company, please let them know that you checked their record with BBB.

As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. BBB charges a fee for BBB Accreditation. This fee supports BBB's efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing marketplace trust.
