The beginning of April 2022 (April 4, 2022), I had Complete Image out for a quote on getting a new HVAC system (heat pump system - heat/ac, and new tankless water heater). I was quoted $17,000 for all of the work - including removing the old systems in the attic, new thermostat, cleaning air ducts and placing a new cement pad for the new unit. I was told an estimated time of 1-2 days for completion/installation. (I am trying to keep on Mondays due to having minimal PTO from only being at a job 6 months and that is my set day off.) We set the start date for the April 11, 2022. The morning of April 11th, ***** (the company owner) called and stated the equipment hadn't come in. We move the date to April 18th. It then takes from April 18th to May 28th for everything to be installed/completed (per the company)- after many reschedules, showing up late, not showing up/messaging me hours after the scheduled time that he won't make it. May 28th, he stated everything is completed (including cleaning the ducts -they were definitely not cleaned but he still stated via text they were). I requested an invoice multiple times during this time period - and I still have not received any sort of invoice or documentation from this company. June 1-11th my new AC was struggling to keep up and blowing warm air. ***** came out June 11 & stated a switch was malfunctioning and my attic was too hot and making it blow warm air. June 13 he finally shows up after several calls/not coming in the AM like promised. It's now a new reason for the AC not working & he needs to put in more return vents & a new TXV valve - he would call june 14th to schedule. June 15th no answer from him (inside temps 80-85). I called a new company, they diagnosed the problem- piston and freon lines were filled with a dark/chunky debris (likely due to not flushing the lines after welding). This cost me an additional ~$2500 to fix it & drain/replace all freon. Now my hot water heater that is 6 months old is leaking.
