    This complaint concerns a *************** Contract purchased through TruWarranty, which appears to be administered by SideCars, Inc. and underwritten by ******************************* Company. The consumer-facing brand listed on the documents is TruWarranty, and this complaint is being filed under that name accordingly.Customer Warning:I strongly caution anyone considering a *************** Contract with TruWarranty / SideCars. I purchased a warranty in good faith, believing it would cover critical mechanical failures as marketed. However, when my vehicles differential began making concerning noises confirmed later by the dealership as a serious internal issue my claim was denied on the vague basis of delayed reporting.There was no fluid leak, warning lights, or dashboard alerts, and two certified service providers agreed that the issue could not have been detected without specialized inspection. Despite this, the company refused coverage and made no attempt at reasonable resolution.Their representative, ****, was unprofessional, dismissive, and twice stated I had no rights, and hung up on me, even after I politely repeated requests to speak with a supervisor. I was left with a $2,000 repair bill, lost business hours, and unnecessary stress. *** since filed a small claims lawsuit, requested a copy of the phone call as evidence of their unprofessional behavior, and reported the company to the **************************************** This companys vague language, questionable denial tactics, and lack of accountability suggest a pattern of poor faith practices. If you're considering a warranty from this company, I urge you to get everything in writing and carefully review their exclusion policies, and even then, proceed with extreme caution.I would give 0 stars if BBB would've allowed me.

    My Truck went in the shop almost 3 weeks ago for transmission. Mechanic is still yet to get a response. I just got promoted to ******* at my job and have no vehicle now . Nobody answers the phone or emails you. Very disappointing!!!

    I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with TRUWARRANTY and the way my vehicle service contract has been handled. This company has proven to be nothing short of a complete nightmare.From the beginning, TRUWARRANTY has been unprofessional, unresponsive, and deceptive. I was sold a contract under the promise that my major mechanical issues would be covered only to find out that every claim Ive submitted has been denied, delayed, or outright ignored.Your customer service is almost impossible to reach. When I finally did get someone on the phone, I was transferred multiple times, given vague answers, and treated with little to no respect. The people I spoke to either didnt know anything about my claim or gave me inconsistent information every single ******* mechanic even called you directly, and you still stalled the process delaying repairs for days, while I was left with no transportation and no support. I was told certain parts would be covered, but once it came time to pay, you found loopholes and hid behind the fine print. Its obvious your goal is to avoid paying out claims rather than standing behind your product.This warranty has been a complete waste of money, and I would absolutely never recommend TRUWARRANTY to anyone. The stress, the waiting, and the lack of integrity are unacceptable. Your company gives the entire vehicle warranty industry a bad name.HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!-Signed ****** *.

    Terrible customer service, they wont cover anything. The company doesnt answer the call phones and the company keeps changes names and refuses to forward you to anyone one of higher management. Not only that. Its all a scam. Its fraud. Worse company ever. ******* ***** | Claims Manager is also a scam artist and terrible at his job as well. ******

    Bought a car 2 month ago, and i tried to call truwarranty but it doesnt exists. I paid $2,400 for a 4 year coverage. My car broke down 2 days ago.

    Spent over $5,000+ with Truwarranty for my wheels and transmission. Now theyre out of business and not once have I filed a claim! Now theyre out of business and cant get in contact with anyone!!!?? I need my money back or need to be moved to a different extended warranty! I need help! is my phone number please help me get my money back! Who did I call to complain and get my money back from!?

    Not reliable! I didnt get immediate response to my claim. I had to message them after awhile just to be told that it was denied because it was pass the days allowed. They were the late ones and I should have looked at BBB first the complaints filed against them before I agreed with ****** to get my ************* from them. Total scam!

    DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!! YOU WILL REGRET IT I PROMISE YOU!! I thought that I was in this by myself, but I'm reading the reviews and see that this company is doing the same thing to other people. My vehicle was declared a total loss due to the hurricane in September. My insurance company has settled with my lien holder, which in my opinion, I believe the settlement was fair. I have a balance left on the lien of which GAP is suppose to cover. I submitted my claim to TruWarranty, only to be told that my claim has been denied. Reason? The insurance company undervalued my car, therefore, I'm not entitled to anything. I went back to my insurance company for them to review the valuation, based on TruWarranty's recommendation. The response from my insurance company, is that the lien holder has accepted the settlement, therefore, they have concluded my case. Now what am I supposed to do? I'm now stuck with making car payments every month still and out of pocket and cant afford another vehicle because I would have two car payments.

    ***WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY******SCAM ARTIST***They approved my tire size for my truck that I had on it. They replaced the starter on my truck and took pictures of my tires to make sure I was in the right guidelines. Then the transmission went out in my truck and Truwarranty wouldnt cover my transmission because of my tires. Basically told me to kick rocks. They only refunded me $200 of my $1350 I just spent on warranty a year ago and said they shouldnt have covered the starter.This whole business is crooked, they cant give you the right answers and then cancel your warranty because my tires that they approved of.
