      I had signed up for 16 hours of tutoring on 2/24. I had no idea that 16 hours would expire in 4 weeks. I was clear with the salesperson that I could not start till 3/11. I had my first tutoring session on 3/11 which was terrible. The instructor was all over the place and did not have his own materials. He asked me what I paid, and when I told him $1800, he freaked out that it was too much. I called the main customer service number to complain about the tutor, only to find out that my 16 hours were going to expire 3/24 and the only way to continue was to pay $300 per month for another 6 months to keep the 16 hours. I called back again and explained the situation to a customer service representative, and they said they would give me a refund, and I even got an email confirming the refund. The next day, I got an email from Varsity saying they would not issue a refund. I posted a review on ****** and got a reply to my review that I should email experience@varistytutors with all the information. The email address immediately comes back saying that the email address was not found. This company is a scam!

      The tutor was a great fit for my child and was able to accommodate the weekend hours that we needed. It's overwhelming how many extra services there are for the whole family to take advantage of. We are very pleased with our experience so far.

      I was/am very satisfied with the services that Varsity Tutors has provided. My tutor was qualified and knowledgeable in the subject I was needing tutoring in and she helped me understand the subject matter! Although a bit pricey, it was well worth it as my tutor knew what she was talking about. Tutors are also great at accommodating the hours and schedule thats best for you.

      The tutor is very responsive to my needs as an adult learner. **************** is very prompt and professional. The website and platform function well and have many resources for learning beyond the tutoring session.

      From the start Varsity Tutors have been very helpful explaining to me the process so I could easily understand it. Picking out the subject matter and what I wanted to accomplish was a first priority for me and we chose a learning path that was good for what I wanted . My tutor is very knowledgeable and patient during our sessions. The ** feature is also very helpful and easy to use. My overall experience has been very good and I would recommend Varsity Tutors to any students who have an ambition to learn new things.

      My tutor, ****, is exceptional. He has been tutoring me in English grammar, punctuation, and syntax for about six months. Not only have my knowledge and skills greatly improved, but I was just accepted into the *** program I applied to. I've had a wonderful experience with Varsity.

      My son applied for the STEM program in high school. The **** exam was required I researched on line and found what I thought a credible company that met my needs. 7 weeks out from the exam I called Varsity Tutors and let them know I was looking for Tutoring to help prep my son for the exam on 10 Dec We discussed how many hours he would need for prep. my son was an A student we opted for a 4 hr package. With 7 weeks till the exam we agreed, if the tutor determined he needed more time to prep we had time to add more hrs.first tutor was terrible; in a different time zone she kept blaming my son for scheduling probs because she could not meet on originally agreed tutoring schedule weekly on the same day at the same time. 4 wks past only 2 hrs of tutoring. I called varsity tutors, we were running out of time, my son was not prepared and this tutor was incapable of doing the class on the initial schedule we all agreed. 4 of 7 wks wasted the first tutor fired and they gave us a new tutor. With a promise if the new tutor assessed my son to need more Time to prep they would provide that free of charge. the second tutor was great, a few extra hours were added, and my son, better prepared wrote the exam. we said thank you and goodbye to the tutor.... 4 mnths later I discover they enrolled us in a 4 hr/month monthly programme The problem was we never ever discussed a monthly plan that was reoccurring. After the problems they never noted I evidently had hrs in the bank that would simply expire if not used. so much for the free extra hrs. They completely refuse to acknowledge I only asked for the services to prep my son for the exam on 10 Dec. it was clear services were never requested beyond that I raised this with them this wk noting we started end Oct we agreed to 4 hrs. only 2 were used after 4 wks and they said any extra hrs would be free noting the exam m on 10 Dec. they billed me for 5 mths I requested 4 mths be rebated, they gave me one only.!!!
