Student loan servicer is a joke. They are terrible. I call them about my account and they can not find mt ss# or phone for my account. They will not let me email. It just comes back to me. They keep taking my money even though I received PSLF through ***. Been dealing with this since November 2024. Never seen such poor customer service. *** is just as bad.

As EVERYONE else before me has said, if I had the option of giving 0 stars, I would. Think Communist Russia bureaucracy and incompetency. They intentionally make their customer phone tree service impossible to reach an actual human being. The processing times for income-driven repayments and responding to emails is as slow as mud. I've done everything (contacting senators and representatives, submitting formal complaints, complaining to student loans ombudsmen, etc) to try to get moved out of forbearance and it's like I'm shouting into the void. I can't complain enough about how terrible my experience has been. Horrifically terrible.

Wish I could give them 0 stars. Ridiculous horrible company. They have the fakest looking emails that look like a scam and go all to your junk mail. Then because I never paid ( I never even knew I took out a loan with this company), they put my credit into a 90 day hold and messed up my credit so badly. I called and spoke to a real person after waiting for like an hour, and she said there was nothing for them to do. Mohela is horrible, they do not treat their customers with respect, don't hear your concerns, and will mess up your credit with no remorse. DO NOT use Mohela!! They are also in the middle of a class action lawsuit which should tell you enough right there.

If I could leave zero stars, then I most definitely would. I would not recommend Mohela for anyone at all. They are the worst student loan servicer around! I have tried to get my student loan payments as they used to be, but they still want me to pay like $477/month. That is way too much for me to have to pay. How on earth can anyone afford to pay that much per month, when I have to pay my car payment and etc. else. I used to only have to pay $62.25/month so..??? Can anyone make sense of this for me, because I surely cannot! Every time I call, I either am on hold for a really long time, or I get no one literally to talk to. They are useless. I don't know why my loans changed from Navient, to Aid-Vantage to that of now Mohela. I don't get it at all. All I know is I want to sue them, but don't know how to go about doing that. I don't really want to have to contact an attorney, but I don't know what to do anymore. I keep applying for forbearance too, in order to buy me more time, so I don't have to pay but I in doing that, it accrues interest and I can't use my public loan service forgiveness, because if I don't make what payments they want me to, then whatever payments I do make, it doesn't qualify for public student loan forgiveness

I wish I could give this business 0 or negative stars. They have zero customer service to assist customers. I have been locked in to my current payment date on my repayment plan and have reached out by phone, email and account messaging to request a new monthly payment date. There is not a way to even be put through to a representative. Even prior to this, the customer service was slow. This is extremely disappointing. I would not recommend anyone to work with this company for loan repayment.

Horrible, absolutely horrible. Payment counts are off, wait times are long, and emails are not returned. I have been eligible for forgiveness for a year now, but Mohela can't get their act together. I am not sure why the **************** still allows them to be a student loan provider.

A simple phone call is impossible. Their recorded messages just play on and bring you in circles never allowing you the option talk to a human if you follow their prompts. I only realized this after calling and failing to talk with someone (even though there was a message that said wait time was only 30 seconds) because there was no option to connect to a representative. Of course they know what they are doing and this is not right or fair to the students and previous students trying to take care of their loans. I was just trying to get to someone regarding a lump sum payment but they make it so so hard to get answers and pay that because the longer your loans are with them, and they keep you waiting the more they can charge interest and make more money.

I am writing to present my case that Mohela made false statements on 07/30/2025 at 9:51am through an inbound email called Action Needed - We Havent Received Your Application. The email stated to View My Documents.I logged into my account and in my messages I received a new document from Mohela dated 07/29/2025. The document says We received proof of income without an application specifying what you were requesting. We are unable to process repayment options or postpone payments without a completed repayment option, deferment, or forbearance request. On 07/15/2025, Moehlea states in their very own document, which was located in my account inbox. **** - your annual renewal application for your reduced payment, under the Income-Driven Repayment plan, has been approved.Attached is an image snapshot of my inbox and the order of messages that Mohela provided me related to my *** plan ********** *** plan request was originally submitted at ************** on 07/08/2025. The *** application was successfully submitted for verification by email to me on 07/08/2025.Mohela sent me an email on 07/01/2025 stating Your Payment Will ******** Soon - It is time to recertify your payment plan. The deadline to submit an application is 08/29/2025.But after my CFPB written complaint (that Mohela made no response to my updated required tax documents for my *** requirements) I received the false email on 07/30/2025 Action Needed - We Havent Received Your Application. I uploaded my required tax documents to Mohela in my account on 07/22/2025 at 5:52pm for the *** requirements.Per requirements, I am to speak to Mohela about my concerns first. I called on 07/30/2025 at 11:38am. This is the day I received the mail Action Needed - We Havent Received Your Application. The call took place for 20 minutes with Kyeona Danalle. She stated Disregard Communications. So the email was false. She admitted yes, it is false and a mistake.

No live representative available for Teacher Loan Forgiveness justa constant loop automated messages. After pressing a bunch of dials finally spoke to a live agent who placed me on hold for over an hour waiting for an "advanced agent." No response, incredibly irresponsible loan servicer with many discrepancies.

Despite countless times of trying to contact them, they refuse to refund an overpayment I made when they were "updating their servicing platform". Terrible customer service
